Delivery was pretty fast and the food was good. You get what you pay for. I’ll most likely order from here again.

Perfect for cheap, American-​style Chinese food. The pork fried rice is delicious, as is the orange chicken. None of the food feels overly greasy or msg laden either. Portions are huge.

OK, so now we have been here enough that they know who we are and what we ordered as soon as we walk through the door… My favorite dish is now the spicy basil fried rice. It comes with chicken and shrimp with a big enough portion to go for at least two meals. The employees could not be nicer. Great place!

Perfect !!! Fast delivery, good price, perfect portion, and the good is awesome. Can’t beat that. Try the chicken fingers and boneless spare ribs.

Food is tasty, staff is friendly, but chow mein isn’t chow mein! It’s that icky, bland, soupy stuff — and when I called to explain I had ordered chow mein, he said I was thinking of lo mein. I guess this a pretty first-​world problem. The moral is this: stay clear of noodles here. Everything else is delish.

Didn’t think that it was any better than other Chinese food restaurants closer to me in Roslindale. Nice staff though.

Never again. We’ve ordered takeout from here about once a month for the past few years. Crab Rangoon is good, tofu dishes are ok, my husband loves the salt shrimp, and our favorite is the beef with hot pepper. Last night I tried vegetable egg foo yung and wonton soup. Today I have horrible food poisoning and I’m currently debating whether to go to the hospital due to the severity of my symptoms. Not sure I want that bill though.
I will never order from here again. :(

This place is top top notch. best in west roxbury area for chinese food. great prices. friendly staff, willing to do whatever you ask. Oh, and did i mention that the food is WICKED good?

Best delivery/​take-​out «american» chinese food in the area. The portions are generous, (especially with the combination platters!) and the food is not too greasy. I highly recommend the dumplings, lo mein of any variety, chicken and broccoli, fried rice, orange chicken… I could go on but you get the gist.

They are the best Chinese delivery take out in the Roslindale area. They are very cheap and the food tastes great. They deliver very quickly.

This is the first time i ever heard of this resturant. I had order their vegetable Lo Mein and Fried shrimp through foodler. When I went in to pick up my order the lady was pretty pleasant and kind. I went home and started eating and as I got through the final bite on my plate. .I had notice a BUG!!! …it was blended in with my lo mein. I was in shock and felt sick after seeing that and knowing that I had ate some of it I felt even sicker. It made me wonder if they even cooked it or had it laying out for while for bugs to be tracted. Either way it’s wasn’t a good experience my stomach is in knots because of it.
I only give it 1 star because the lady was nice but descent customer service doesn’t justify for poor quality food… I will never do business with them ever again.

Hands down the best take-​out Chinese restaurant in the Roslindale/​Hyde Park area. I love their spicy chicken wings, lobster sauce and basil fried rice. I had only one bad experience with some dumplings that tasted a little soapy, but that was obviously an unfortunate exception.

I ordered through Eat 24 for delivery. I ordered right at 11 am. Almost an hour later I have Eat 24 contact them. Oh, they are on their way, will be just a few minutes. Twenty minutes later and no food. Once again Eat 24 contacts them. They claim the delivered the food and the driver was already back. I AM THE ONLY ONE HERE TO ACCEPT the food. HK888 refused to work with Eat 24 to make it right. Eat 24 was great and cancelled the order and refunded my money. I am not sitting here eating my emergency cup of noodles. Thank you HK 888 for putting the customer first. Oh, wait… no they don’t!!!
I only gave it a star because I had to.
UPDATE***** RECEIVED A CALL HOURS LATER SAYING THAT THEY MADE A MISTAKE. I AM STILL VERY DISPLEASED AND WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN BUT I DID HAVE TO SAY THEY CALLED.

Um, this place has that one thing I order on fleek. Crab rangoon. Chicken teriyaki, pork fried rice (when you have that dark PFR you know its good), sesame chicken. they are actually really nice here and really accomodating. Once, I called in, and couldnt find them, driving around senselessly. The driver met me in the square and I followed him up. Another time, my car broke down and they delivered my food to me. Always in a nice way. I really appreciate them. Right behind Rozzi square. they will please. ish is good. and they are really fast.

Delicious! Super quick delivery. Singapore Rice Noodles and Double cooked pork are amazing.

I can’t say too much about their food because I’ve tried a couple and once I find something that I like, I order that specific dish regularly. The only two dishes I’ve tried are the General Gao’s Chicken and the Yu Hsiang Chicken. The GGC is too breaded for me, and not enough chicken. The Yu Hsiang Chicken was great, and not too greasy, but I wish there were more vegetables in the dish itself. I’d have to say this is the best place to get Chinese in Roslindale.
Staff is great and really nice. They try to get to know all of their customers.

Hong Kong 888 Café has great online ordering system that is efficient and easy use.
My order came promptly and the deliver was friendly.
I find their food is decent as long as I stick with the traditional Polynesian appetizers (pork fried rice, chicken fingers, Peking ravioli, etc…). I do think they put way too many onions in their pork fried rice.
Reading the other reviews, it appears ordering from Hong Kong 888 Café can be hit or miss.

Fast delivery, everything was STEAMING hot when it got here and was pretty dang good. I got the chicken lo mein dinner special with spring roll + pork fried rice. Huge portion for $ 9. Also got the wonton soup, not nearly as salty as most places (a plus). Boyfriend got the hunan pork and loved it – he usually hates Chinese. I’d say if you’re nervous about ordering, go for it! We will definitely order again.

I was all set to cook my first meal in my new apartment
I mean I had really gone all out for myself, lit the candles, dimmed the lights, put on the Barry White, dressed in my best «im not going to work or anywhere else today sunday stolen from my x-​boyfriend boxer shorts with hair up in a messy topknot» look.
I was looking hella fine for a night with me myself and I and my current s/​o, a big bowl of pasta… I was probably going to get some too, because I was looking so good, but that’s another story.
Anyway, lucky for me, before I cracked open the box of spaghetti I realized I didn’t have a can opener for my topping of choice and I was up that creek no one ever seems to want to go up, Im not sure why, they say it has scenery that makes the trip «just ok at least»
so its 8pm on a sunday night and I’m about to have to cancel dinner on myself, and no one especially me is going to be happy if i have to cancel dinner on myself so i head to Unilocal with a yearning for chinese, GOOD chinese, not garbage
Hong kong 888 comes up as top rated and I could order online, which is seriously awesome.
Food arrived in about 25 minutes, steaming hot and delicious, had the crab rangoons, mmmmmm, the pork fried rice, the pork lo mein, the boneless spareribs and the chicken wings… yeah I do seriously order all that for just me, but the small size, and i had a diet coke which negates all the oil?
The only complaint was the egg roll. What the hell? Inside the egg roll should be that weird pink/​green mixture stuff,(which when combined with duck sauce makes delicious things happen in my mouth) my egg roll was filled with some weird cabbage like stuff, looked more like a spring roll, tasted gross, 10 out of 10 did not like nor finish it after one bite
who knows maybe i did get a spring roll accidentally?
all else was hot and delicious

Good Chinese good, but nothing special. Chicken was really great, not overly breaded or goopy at all! The rice, egg roll, And ran goons were just ok. Not overly greasy or sloppy though which was great. I would order here again.
