i wanted to write a review of these guys as there are amateurs below that have absolutely no clue what business class service should be or for that matter, should cost. the only downside to this company is their pricing. it is very high compared with other ISPs. that being said, i will never go with another ISP in the area over XO. the reasons are simple. my account manager is there for me 24/7, the outage alerts allow me plenty of time to make modifications in order to brace for the impact, if any impact is felt at all. the lone time my service has had a hiccup in the last 2 years was when some illegals ripped out copper and fiber optic cabling out of a junction box on my block. knocked out everyone including kaiser. some dolt from ATT didnt fully lock up the box and basically just invited the theft.

This guy was sub contracted through Comcast to complete a simple line drop at my residence. First thing was that he did not make the scheduled appointment that he left on my door. I called three or four times, never got a return phone call. Called Comcast and they said that the date of install was different from the courtesy note that was left by technician. On the date that Comcast gave me, still no install. When I called Comcast to complain, they showed that the install had been completed the next week meaning he had closed the ticket as being completed in the future! The next day when I got home I noticed the line had FINALLY been dropped. The problem was that he only ran bare line and did not complete the connection to the street. Result having to wait for ANOTHER tech to come out and deal with his sub-par work. I would not recommend this company, nor do I think that Comcast should maintain their contract.

We have a T-1 line which includes 7 phone lines and an auto attendant through this communications company. We pay $ 800/month. The speed we were promised was 1.5mb/sec we get 180kb/sec. The T-1 is shared with the phone lines, but this speed is when no one is on the phone. It took 2 years to swap phone numbers. I have listened to their automated answering music for their customer service line for 45 minutes before speaking with an actual person. They also have an auto renew policy that locks you into a 3 year contract if you don’t notify them in time. Early termination is the remainder of the payments on the contract, in my case $ 10,308. I cannot afford to pay this and have to stay with the company until the end of the contract. All of the above is documented. Learn from my mistake.
