The Studio Salon

I got my hair done today at my first time in this salon by Anjelli. It was an all around okay experience. She did a good job of talking to me and was very friendly however I will not be going back. I made it very clear what I wanted with my hair and she made it clear she understood perfectly but the outcome of my hair just wasn’t what I wanted. Especially for the price! The color was not what I was going for. The hair cut was not what I asked for. And the amount of time she took doing this was not what I liked either. It should not take almost 4 hours! I had a pleasant experience with her however I will not be going back. Left with empty pockets and not satisfied at all! :(

I visited the salon recently, trying to do a walk-​in. Angelii approached the front desk as I was asking for more information on the salon and their services. She was extremely short and rude with me. I only wanted a consultation for hair color, but I will never go back, nor tell any of my friends too.

I took my daughter to get her hair done here. She wanted a big change and she’s ten, wanted super short hair. We made an appointment with Kimberly who was awesome. Not a lot of ten year old girls want to go from long blond to super short. Kimberly was very gentle, gave a great consult and my daughter is very happy with her new style.

Love love love this place! Have tried various salons in the area and I have finally found what I’ve been looking for. Super clean and friendly atmosphere, prices very reasonable. As for the stylist, I cannot express enough into words about one special stylist — Anjeli! Extremely happy with my cut, color, style and makeup! Give her a shot and I promise you won’t be disappointed! Am now a regular customer and always looking forward to stopping in! Thanks Anjeli! :)

Anjelii did a great job on my hair. She got that conversation interesting. Also a great price for the quality.

I just moved into the area a few months ago and have struggled finding someone to cut my hair right, 2 bad haircuts in a row had me hoping what they say about the 3^rd time being a charm, was true… if not then screw it I’d move back to Ohio ;) Anyway Jessica was awesome, listened to what I liked, worked with the mess the other 2 had made, and overall provided a great atmosphere & an awesome cut. Thanks again Jessica!

Would give it 5 stars, but location is hmmm… somewhat frightening, but Anna Lynn knows her stuff!
Best color tech I have ever had… did a really good job with my picky daughter first, and I have been back twice already. Color last longer than anyone else’s I have had…

When it comes to hair, you get what you pay for. That being said, you don’t have to spend a fortune to get it right. I have become a faithful customer and will only see Nancy. I don’t get to see her as often as I should but I always know that she will take her time with me to make it right. I am a wash and go kind of girl and need the style to be in the cut. Nancy always listens to what I want, offers her suggestions if needed and gets it just right. The only problem I have is she has cut my hair so well that I can get away with waiting a little longer between visits! No awkward grow out period! I went from an a-​line to a grown out a-​line with the front «points» reaching well past my shoulders that seems more grown up. I look forward to visiting her and chatting!
I will say that the salon is connected to a tattoo parlor which is not a concern for me but it does have a different vibe than your standard salon. I don’t think I would bring my kid in but I also enjoy that time as me time so… Just my .02.

Worst customer service ever. BUYER BEWARE. I got extensions from BeeJay for the second time in May, and in less than 7 days, they were falling out in clumps. I do not live in the area, and the reason why I see her in the first place is because she is one of the few stylists in the area that does microchet hair extensions. I do not live or work in the area, and she knows this. Flying up there to get a hair correction is ridiculous to ask for, which is what BeeJay actually had the audacity to do. After my hair fell out, I asked for my money back, and she not only would not refund my money (I was being fair and asked for a partial refund of $ 700 as I realize that the hair itself is nonrefundable) and it took her over a week to even acknowlege my complaint and respond. She told me to fly up and have a look at it, but there was no way shed refund my money. I was in LA having important business meetings, and couldnt walk around with ridiculous hair due to her negligence, so I had to spend over a thousand to have it redone. I didnt have time to FLY up to a salon near Sacramento to have a hairdresser who messed up once TRY and do it again, only this time with an attitude. I found out by other stylists that the extensions were put in INCORECTLY, and thats why they fell out every time I tossed and turned in my sleep! BeeJay had the gaul to say I most likely slept with my hair wet or it was something I did! The Studio Spa & Salon, «where the client comes first?» YEAH RIGHT! negative stars

very protective of my hair, had been growing it out dye free for years so I could eventually donate to locks for love. Im fairly new to town and chose a place based on internet reviews. I was very pleased with my experience. I showed Annalyn a picture on my phone of what I wanted and gave her a brief explanation of what color I was looking for. She cut the 10 inches off and gave me what I asked for only better. Good atmosphere and conversation, Im very happy with my new look and will be going back for the up-​keep.

Being away from home and looking for a good stylist was nervewracking. My hair is serious business! After worshipping the Unilocal gods and other more moronic websites, I narrowed my choices to 3 in the Roseville-​Rocklin area (Hues, Charmed, and the Studio) and visited in person. I immediately made an appointment with BeeJay, the owner. She is friendly and down-​to-​earth. The big difference for me was that the prices were reasonable/​comparable to other places except the staff were more experienced. Not one stylist in this place is green. The Studio does not feel like a high-​end salon and I mean that in the best possible way. They do sell some high-​end product but the décor and folk are just genuinely low-​key and that is fine with me. My haircut was fine and what I asked for — layers that allow my curls to do their thing properly and still long enough to pull back. The color was really good. BeeJay understood what I was liking and not liking about my current color and translated that into something similar only better, less brassy and more natural looking. I will be here one more time before I return to the left coast and will definitely be asking her to give me detailed instructions to take home!

Got my haircut here by Annalynn, and was very pleased with my experience. I think I have finally found a place that isn’t too expensive and doesn’t destroy my hair (Great Clips).

i love my stylist. Super friendly people work here. Very accomodating. Fun place. In touch with new techiniques. Beejay, the owner is very talented!!! Easy going attitude. Up to date with what is new with hair and trends. Good products available for purchase too. Everyone here is like a friend.
