Alexandria’s Formal Gown Rentals

Love this store. I needed 2 dresses for a cruise. They had sample dress in the store and dresses in catalogs to choose from. I tried on the sample dresses and ended up renting one dress and ordering the other from the catalog. I could have never purchased my beautiful dresses at such a great price elsewhere. Great staff, very helpful and attentive.

I made an appointment here, got amazing service. She sat me down listened to what I had in idea, and we went through catalogs. I ended up leaving with the perfect prom dress! I recommend this place for anyone looking for a dress weddings and proms! She even rents them out!

These guys are great in my experience at least. I had an event and couldn’t afford a nice dress like all of the other girls. We tried everything and at the last minute the organizers of the event decided to find me one. An hour before going on?!? I underestimated Alexandria’s Formals because they drove from Roseville with four gorgeous gowns in my size and had someone personally stay with me and help me put it on and made sure that it looked nice. The dress easily cost over a hundred to rent, but I understand because it was probably over $ 400 to buy!
They really saved the day and were very professional and I was the envy of the other girls because the dress was breathtaking and exceptional quality. I checked their website after and their prices were reasonable to me. I will definitely recommend them!

I was very unsatisfied with my experience here. First off, it is difficult to find. The address on Unilocal isn’t correct. Once I finally finished driving around trying to find this place I walk in and the first thing the lady behind the counter says is «Uh excuse me do you have an appointment?» After explaining to her I didn’t know you needed an appointment and I was just looking for prom dresses she has me fill out a long information form (which seemed more like a survey). The lady then directed me to the one rack of dresses they have on sale… ONE RACK?! It hardly seems worth the drive for one rack of prom dresses. After walking around I looked at the rental prom dresses and they were all missing diamonds, beading falling off, stains, etc. I do not recommend coming here at all!

I asked my bridesmaids to buy these dresses on a china site and a brides worst nightmare happened to me and they weren’t coming in until after the wedding!!! I was freaking out and looked everywhere for bridesmaids dresses on short notice and wasn’t even thinking I’ll find one with the look I was trying to go for and was just hoping for anything. I had no luck with other places and found Alexandria’s! She was my savior! Everything went smoothly and I even found dresses similar to the ones I was originally trying to get! Probably even better! My bridesmaids looked awesome! Great customer service and I know people complain about them not answering their phones, which happened to me too but if you look on their website she has her cell phone on there (how awesome right?!), so I had no problems and she beyond helped me out. I came back again when I needed a dress to attend a formal wedding and found the perfect dress! Again great costumer service! Prices are super reasonable. I’m so glad I found this place! Met some great people and happy to say some new friends

Wow… I can’t even comment on the gowns, the employees or the store itself because NOBODY has returned my calls, emails or online appointment requests. I assume this place is no longer in business. What a shame! The idea is a good one but IF they are in business, their service quality stinks.

Horrible! Do NOT waste your time! I went in, WITH an appointment scheduled and was treated horribly! The woman working up front was rude and hardly made eye contact with my mom or I. I went there to look at their wedding gowns and saw maybe two dresses in my size. Most gowns were sizes 12+. The store was extremely crowded, which I did not understand, considering their website states that you MUST make an appointment. Did all these people really have appointments? I love that their slogan is «Where we treat you like the star you are». HA! Completely laughable! Horrible customer service and a very small, limited, selection of wedding gowns. Oh, and did I mention that the beading was falling off a lot of the gowns? I think I could find better wedding gowns at a thrift shop! So disappointed.

Horrible customer service!!! I have tried this place 3 times…
1– first time for a formal gown. didn’t have a red dress in the style and size we needed very dissapionting! Then said they could order one, but we would have to pay the rental upfront, with no guarantee we would fit or like the dress???
2– second time they were closed and or moving, called several times to never be called back then a full message box
3– third try $ 135 dress rental!!! Really I can buy a brand new dress for that! Plus I when i questioned the price I was then treated as though I couldn’t afford their services, and was told i can’t just come in and «play around»… Maybe if I found a dress we truly loved I may have paid the rental fee, but we will never know.
All I can say is it is a wonderful concept, but if I have tried 3 times, continueing to be optomistic… To then be treated the way I was… I have nothing good to say :-(I will never recommend anyone!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience with the owner and the other girls that I worked with. From picking out the dress, to the final fitting, to making sure that the alterations were done correctly, everything was done in a professional manner and I never felt as if the service was any less because I was paying MUCH less than I would have at a boutique where I was purchasing an expensive wedding gown.
My dress was beautiful and no one had any idea that it was a rental. In fact, everyone that I told that too thought it was the best idea ever and me too.
I highly recommend Alexandria’s to anyone looking for a formal gown rental.
