I could not be happier with the work Dennis has done on my 1988 Honda Shadow! As a young lady not very knowledgable about auto work I dread having to go to a mechanic. It seems all my previous experiences were filled with high quotes, long waiting times, and surprise expenses I was never told about. After purchasing parts and starting a job on my car that I couldn’t finish, I searched for a shop in my area that would finish it for me. None of the shops would help me because they wanted to supply the parts. That would have meant pulling out the one strut I managed to install and paying for new parts through the shop at greatly marked up prices. I contacted Dennis «The Do It All Mobile Mechanic», whom I found on Unilocal and he said he had no problem installing parts his customers purchase. The neat thing about Dennis is that he passes on his discounts for parts to his customer. If you let him purchase the parts himself it will be cheaper than if you buy them yourself. When I told him I would walk over to Diamond Oaks Golf Course and hang out while he did the job, he loaned me his golf clubs. So I was hitting a bucket of balls instead of sitting in a boring waiting room. Dennis is very kind and fair and has gained a loyal customer. I will have no issue recommending him to family and friends. If you are a golfer and make an appointment with Dennis, make sure you book a tee time at Diamond Oaks Golf Course a block away from his location and your car will be ready when you’re done golfing.

Full disclosure, this review isn’t for a paid service I received. My boyfriend has been working hard in Loomis to fix up an old and temperamental RV, and when the refrigerator wasn’t lighting he was on his last straw!
I searched here for a mobile rv repair man and gave Dennis a call to see how much it would cost to come out and look at it. He said that refrigerators weren’t a specialty and he was afraid that he might come out and not be able to fix it but still have to charge for the time… but what was the issue?
I ran and handed the phone to my boyfriend and they spoke on the phone for several minutes. He tried what Dennis suggested and it worked!
I’m writing this review because any one else could have easily said «sorry, can’t help» and hung up.
Dennis cared enough to take a few minutes out of his day and troubleshoot with a stranger, and it helped a lot.
I now know who to call on when we need repairs because that genuine customer service left such a good impression. Wish more people were that casually helpful, thank you!

Once again Dennis has done an outstanding job on one of my vehicles. Besides being a very nice person to deal with he is also a great mechanic and overall repair man for my vehicles. Even though he is a great Craftsman, he is also very reasonable as well as timely and efficient… He has my highest recommendation.

Absolutely Amazing Experience!!!
Our RV had a fuel leak problem. It had been in storage; and, when I went to gas up, the fuel was going on the ground instead of my gas tank. I was imagining the worst. After reading all the reviews in Unilocal,we decided on The Do It All Mechanic. Dennis was able to come to my home and fix the RV in less than 30 minutes. Seems, someone had undone the fuel line clamps to the fuel tank and then attempted to pull the fuel feel line out of the gas tank in order to steal gas. Lucky for us, the fuel line was wedged and the attempt to get the gas failed. My bill was $ 53. Dennis took pictures of the failed attempt and sent them to me.
Dennis is extremely passionate about his profession. He is a real people person as well as honest. Highly recommend!!! My wife and I drive luxury vehicles and we both agree that, Dennis can do all the maintenance on them. BTW: We tipped him to make the total cost $ 75.

Talk about convenience. I sit in the comforts of my home watching football while I get my car worked on. Fair price and great customer service. Can’t beat this guy. Give him a call.

I called Dennis for a small job while my husband is out of town and he was at my house that afternoon. He was very professional, got the job done, and charged a very reasonable price! I will definitely recommend him to others and will for sure use his services in the future!

If you need a mobile mechanic definitely give Dennis a call before you waste your time with other mobile mechanics. I’ve gone through some mobile mechanics off of Craigslist before but they’ve charged more money just to come out (avg $ 45). Dennis charges a $ 25 fee (I’m in the Roseville area, may be more if further) and $ 55/​hour for labor as of 4÷28÷14. Another mobile mechanic on Unilocal was going to charge $ 125 just to show up and supposedly included the 1^st hour of labor but you do the math that’s a $ 45 difference if you even extend your service labor to a full hour.
Dennis is honest and doesn’t try to take advantage of his customers. He prorates his labor only for the actual time he needs to do the job. He does accept cards but there is a 5% charge which is pretty pricey so make sure you get enough cash to pay him and tip him. Would definitely recommend Dennis for fast and honest repairs.

I would not recommend him. I first called and he said I should get help elsewhere because I lived in sacramento, then after him telling me it was going to be $ 70 to come out if he did, I decided to rent a trailer to take my bike out to him to put in my clutch plates. I was told it was an easy job that would take 30 min and I ended up waiting 6 hours. He got distracted alot being he does work at his house. After waiting all that time he ended up breaking my clutch shaft, so didnt end up even finishing the work and still charged me double what he first quoted me. I ended up having to pay double the fee for the trailer too, because he waskoo so slow and stopping work in many occasions. A $ 45 jobs ended up being 3 to 4 times more expensive then what I was told it would be, after leaving with my bike not being able to run. The business cards he gave me are now in the trash can. After buying the part he broke discovered today, he put the clutch plates in totaly wrong too.

Dennis does a great job at a fair price. He is accommodating with schedules, and is able to do most any repair work. I had brakes, rotors, plugs, filters on one car, and alternator on another car. He is reasonable with his hours, and seems to work hard, and fast. He is much cheaper than the local shop. I highly recommend him.

I am sure he is a good mechanic… but his customer service and professionalism were lacking! I had professional and personal knowledge of both the cost and time it would take to fix my car after having a diagnostic check from a shop and calling around to other mechanics. It is important when servicing the public, to keep in mind that how you speak to people is just as important as being savvy with tools!

Dennis was very professional, fast, and very knowledgeable. He fix my motorcycle within an hour in a half and price was affordable. If you’re looking for a reliable and mobile mechanic, he’s your guy. Thank you Dennis!
