Chismosa’s Taco House

The food was very tasty! First time to go and went for lunch. However do NOT ORDER YOUR DRINK THERE. Walk over and get one from the attached gas station because our drinks were FLAT. Upon looking around we realized that’s what all the other diners had done. The taco shells were slightly stale but the flavor of tj meat made up for it!

Its a great authentic Mexican taco/​plate place inside gas station. Olga has always been friendly, great customer service as well as the ladies in back. No matter with the rush orders or busy times, my food always comes out hot and correct. My daughters and I have been coming herevsince they opened. Its a great and awesome place to eat delicious food.

I did not like this place what so ever. I ordered the huevos a la Mexicana plate and it was not good at all. The eggs were weird looking they did not taste good. Also the potatoes that come with it are under cooked and extremely greasy I could not eat it. The beans were bland. I will not be going back. Papa Mex will always be my go to!

This is the perfect joint (hole-​in-​wall) for good mexican food. Their product is wonderful to say that’s it’s attached to a once Shell gas station. The prices are cheap and the food is great. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food at great prices. (NOTE: This establishment is CASH ONLY!)

I had the barbacoa plate (eggs – scrambled bc I’m pregnant, flour tortillas, potatoes, beans). Hubby had chorizo plate. The chorizo was better than the bland, dry barbacoa. The eggs and tortillas were good. I’m not a mushy bean person so I won’t comment on that. Overall, service was fast. The green sauce was pretty good. I’ll try the tacos next time. I wasn’t a fan of their plates.

Best Tacos around! Located inside a shell gas station you will find the best tacos ever! The chorizo and eggs are my personal favorite.

Fast, courteous, and always fresh! Love this little joint found in a Shell gas station. The family ran business has a local following and every morning whether in the early morning before heading out to work or on the weekends especially you will find a long line here. The tacos are stuffed with fresh eggs, quality meats such as bacon, ham, barbacoa. You will find a little lady near the stove cracking eggs, sounds of utensils clinging on the skillets, and possibly a person in the back making the tortillas. Tortillas are some of the best… always soft, chewy, and fresh. My wife loves the egg, cheese, and potato. I love the picadillo and the Ala Mexicana with Cheese. Pour in their mild and hot sauce and you’ve got some of the best breakfast around… people at my office always stare with envy when I devour these tacos. I’ve promised to bring them back a dozen this week. Yup. It’s that good. That simple. That fresh. I’ve never had their lunch so I can’t speak to that.

As I was visiting family from Miami, Florida, I stumbled across a gas station which had a long line of people waiting to order their «tacos». The «Monkey See-​Monkey Do» kicked in and I ordered a few for myself and the rest of the family. We later visited the actual Chismosas restaurant in Rosemberg and to this day, It has been THE BEST TASTING FRESH MEX FOOD I’VE EVER TASTED.
I wish we had one of these here in FLORIDA!

Wonderful Breakfast! If you go, get a BREAKFAST PLATE and eat it at the restaurant. the breakfast tacos are good… but get a plate. and sit and enjoy… the to go plates seem a little small… but if you eat at the café, it is huge. Also their lunch plates are very good and very well priced.
