McCormick & Schmick’s

We have been here numerous times, the food is always spot on and the wine list is fab! The crab tower appetizer is one of my favorite things, if I don’t get it for an appetizer, get it as an entrée or salad:) my only complaint it that they tend to over salt items… I just remember to make the request now.

Came with a group of couples for valentines dinner.
Mushroom/​goatcheese flatbread was good for our starter.
Main entrees of 8oz filet w/​side of mushroom and porterhouse for me since they were out of the bone in ribeye (already it’s only 6). The steaks were very bland & overdone.
Sent back a portehouse from another member if our party because itvwas ordered as rare amd it came medium well.
Wine list was good just a bit pricey.
Service was great thats why they get the extra star.
The ambiance of the restaurant is great hence the 1^st star.
We will give it another try next time and hopefully it will be a better experience.

The service was great, steak was ok. I do wish they had more side options (menu was limited compared to other similar places). The place has complimentary valet parking which was very convenient.

I loved everything here. The ambiance was great, the food was great, and staff was super nice.
What impressed me was that every staff member seems so attentive. So it’s not just your server and you– everyone is greeting you, everyone is making sure you’re okay. If you need anything, no one hesitates to assist you.
The complimentary bread was a nice start– soft and warm. Raspberry mule cocktail: very good. My partner and I split the coconut shrimp appetizer. Delicious. I then had the stuffed salmon with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes. I didn’t find the m. potatoes all that great, but everything else on my plate was perfect. My partner had the stuffed shrimp with red pepper mashed sweet potatoes. Delicious.
For dessert, we split the chocolate bag. It was the cherry on top to a perfect evening.
Shout out to our server Samantha. She was awesome.

I enjoyed my meal and everyone in my party of four did too.
We chose it because it was a midpoint location for everyone and it offered both seafood and steak options. It also helped that it offered a Restaurant Week menu too.
The meal without alcohol was $ 200 before gratuity ($ 50 per person).
Service was pretty good but there were several instances where we waited to get the server’s attention for a refill or to request something.
The valet attendant was a dime! You could tell he takes great pride in his work and aims to please. He was extremely professional, attentive and helpful. Valet Parking is complimentary. If you park in the garage, it is $ 5 with validation. My recommendation is valet and pay the $ 5 in a tip. Then everybody’s happy.
I would definitely circle back for another visit.

Stopped in for a steak as I was in the area for business.
Had a ribeye. Steak was made to order. It was okay, but wasn’t worth the price. Maybe if it was a better grade of meat. Definitely too much for a choice steak.

I was between a 2 – 3 on this. Complimentary valet is always great. We had a reservation and were seated within about 5 minutes of arriving. Our server had kind of an odd sense of humor which made our interactions a little uncomfortable, like is he joking is he not… It was New Years Eve so I was expecting they might have some Sort of exciting dinner specials or champagne deal or special dessert menus but it was just the standard fare. Service was excessively slow. Had to ask for refills on water AND wine numerous times– I don’t think I should ever have to ask for another drink, servers should be on top of that trying to upsell and push the bill higher. My steak was good and cooked to my satisfaction. Came with a 5 $ upgrade for potatoes, they were good but it was like three tablespoons so I couldn’t enjoy them as much as I would have liked. Basically for a $ 600+ meal I was just expecting a little bit more in terms of the menu and the efficiency of the service from the staff. Also, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. Pee all over the toilet seats, toilet paper on the ground, puddles of god knows what in all the stalls. Had to use the standard woman bathroom in a gas station protocol in order to pee.

Did not get seated with a full table because apparently they were booked in a empty restaurant. I would give it no stars if I could. Apparently our appearance could not get us a seat.

While i can not speak for the rest of my family. My food was okay. And thats it unfortunately. From looking at the other reviews the seafood is not very good. Mine gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. The waiter was also okay. She was a nice lady but then again she knocked over a few of the table settings. Our reservations were delayed because our table wasnt ready for 15ish minutes. I kid you not when i tell you that my fish smelled exactly like semen. Gross.
For the price that your pay I would not go back to this restaurant

So, I’ve tried a few different items off of their happy hour menu. Overall it’s pretty good, but the best value is the burger. I tried the firecracker shrimp tacos, chicken lettuce wrap and hummus but they are very much lacking in portion, but don’t worry all are tasty if you want to try. The taco shrimp was $ 7 but only two tacos. I think 3 would be more fair. Otherwise like I said all were tasty but if you are looking for a good value you definitely want to go for the burger. Get a drink with it too ! Overall decent!

Thank you Bill Scott the manager for making our meal great. Came back in and was pleasantly surprised with the service and valet parking. Our server was very nice and was on top of our refills. The food was good to a burger to lobster and shrimp. The steak however was not so good. Tasted burnt even though was done medium. I recommend the buttermilk shrimp they are very tasty.

I have the fresh grilled swordfish which ca e with mashed potatoes and green beans. I found it boring on the sides but the fish was good. Also added a cup on clam chowder which was good but nothing notable
The staff was fairly competent but lacked the fished touch you hope from a nicer dinning establishment
Over all the food was good, but forgettable. The service was adequate but again not really rising above average. I would go back but only because it’s convenient for business lunches not for the dinning experience it self

Food was okay, but pricey for what it was, and it was a little cool by the time it arrived. My drink was the best part of the meal, and the beer selection was extremely limited. Service was a bit slow, and not terribly attentive; I expected better for a $ 100 meal for two. At least they validate parking.

We had a business dinner and everything was perfect, we had a good selection of oysters and fresh fish. The restaurant was clean and well organized, the food was really fine

Great service and great food. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. I had the Wedge salad and Parmesan crusted Flounder. Both excellent.

Sam was an awesome server! She was so sweet, and when we asked for her opinion, her food recommendations were all fabulous! Having a super nice server like Sam made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Everything was delicious. I especially loved the shrimp kisses appetizer (bacon and melted cheese — yum), the cashew crusted tilapia (well cooked and flaky, loved the sauce, couscous side was awesome), and chocolate bag dessert (the dark chocalate was decadent, and the berries balanced it out perfectly!).
Complimentary valet and the friendly valet staff were a nice plus, too!
We recommend this location, and we’ll definitely be back.

First time coming to this location. Got here close to closing. My Cosmo was great. Came on the 4^th of July we ask about the special the waiter didn’t know anything about but he found out about which I thought was great. He kept checking to make sure we were OK. I would come again

Was part of a business dinner with 16 people. The service was average at best. At M&S prices/​expectations is was below average. The soup and salad was fine, the main course was slow to come out and had to recook everyone’s steaks, and I mean everyone of them. Thus the balance of the table that did not have steak had cold food. The waiter kept trying to get the others to eat, as those guests did not feel comfortable eating before all were served. I would say the highlight of the evening was the bread, as we all eat a lot of that waiting for each course and the recook of the steaks.
To put it in perspective are seating was @ 7:30 PM and the restaurant was not full to capacity. The waiter apologized several times, at the end of the day we were billed full price for the complete party. Will not be back to this location M&S.

We arrived at Loews a few hours before the work conference was scheduled to begin, so we wandered across the parking lot to McCormick & Schmick’s. It was pretty empty at noon, so it was not a problem getting immediately seated.
Service was prompt and efficient throughout the course of the meal. I had a chicken portabella sandwich. It was very flavorful and reasonably healthy seeming. It was also served with a paper bag full of French fries. That was a first for odd plating. My two colleagues both went for the fish tacos and clean plated them.
If you’re in the area and looking for a good business lunch spot, then McCormick & Schmick’s will certainly do the trick. Reasonably priced, great service, not too loud, and an all-​around classy vibe for lunch. All and all, it’s a pretty good high end-​ish chain restaurant.
