When I dropped off my shirt, the lady was ok. She greeted us but seemed pre-occupied and not paying attention to what we’re saying. She asked if I was a new customer. I said yes but then she asked again and scolded me to sign in with my name and information. She then took my shirt and taped the areas that are stained where I asked to be cleaned. I asked her how much it costs and she said $ 2.25. I had cash on me that day so I proceeded to pay and she gave me the receipt. Stupid me didn’t check the receipt to see if it showed«paid». My sister went to pick up the shirt for me a few days later and the lady demanded payment. That’s what prompted me to look at my receipt again and it said«amount due…2.25». Damn lady cheated me and didn’t print me a receipt to show that I paid. Anyways, I told my sister to just pay for me and we’re never going back! The lady that was there during pick-up didn’t even bother trying to help figure out the situation. She just insisted that it wasn’t paid and when my sister paid she refused to give her a receipt. Whatever happened to «customers are always right».

I just picked up my cardigan today. I still see the baking soda that I left on the cardigan when I was cooking. What did they do to my cardigan other than putting it on a hanger? It does not even smell good. The lady who worked there at the cashier didn’t not seem to be friendly. I will not go back again. Keep looking for another nice dry-cleaning place!

The most terrible dry-clean experience ever in my life!!! I used to be the loyal customer of this cleaner because it’s close to my house and the Square Supermarket. And the price is pretty reasonable. Probably this is the reason the shop is spoiled by my keep-coming-back $$$ contribution. My bad. On 05/15/2013 I dropped 4 winter coats+2 suits+1 necktie brought back from overseas there for dry clean. They are all old clothes and I’ve not worn them for many years so I would like to have them cleaned first. But the old Asian lady told me that they cannot clean one of the long coats because it’s too dirty. WTF??? Tech difficulty. I just brought it home and used my washing machine+detergent+softener+iron to clean it. No problem at all. And now it’s super clean in my closet. The due date of the rest 6 items was 05/20/2013. Pretty quick. So on that date I went back to the shop for pick-up at 5PM. The old lady told me not ready yet. Fine. went back on Friday. The same answer. So I went back again on 05⁄27. The 5 items are ready but one suit undelivered. Fine, will come back on Friday 05⁄31 — But I was gonna lose my patience… Again 06/03/2013, no luck. I was pissed off. I said I would like to pay for the rest first. Another young lady in the shop today refused and insisted that I had to pay them all. WTF??? She even called her boss to get the confirmation. Why I need to pay for the missing clothes? So I ask the young lady to find my coat asap because I would come back next day. Wed 06/05, my fifth trial to get my clothes back, still no luck. I was very angry but still tried to control my temper. The old lady told me she promised to find my missing coast tomorrow. So today 06/06/2013, after almost one month, finally I got all my 6 clothes today. And of course I had to pay them all to bring them back! The old lady kept speaking foreign language when I paid the full bill~ I guess she was cursing me. If you want to waste your money, lose you clothes, and get cursed. Welcome to The Square Cleaner in Rosemead, CA!

Pick up: to collect or gather, to claim. Drop off: to unload or bring something. Customer service 101: be nice to your customers and your business will grow. Do not be rude to your customers. Especially Unilocalers. We write reviews, both good and bad. I almost didn’t want to review this place because I was afraid I would write a very bad review. I actually waited a very long time and glad I did it because now it’s kinda funny to me now. There’s this new dry cleaner place with 50% promotional deal. What a great deal and I would like to give them some business. I went there to check out the price and this(older) lady was super sweet. I told her that I would come back the next day with my stuff and she said ok with a smile… sweet lady I came back the next day with my dresses. I walked in and the same lady was there. She was looking for something inside her purse and was kinda annoyed when I walked in. Let’s call her cranky lady. Cranky lady: Pick up or drop off? Maggie C: Drop off(holding my bag full of clothes) Cranky lady: You here before? Maggie C: Yes, I was here last night and I am back. Cranky lady: What your number? Maggie C:(xxx) xxx-xxxx Cranky lady: You not in system. YOUNOTCUSTOMER. Pick up or drop off?*YELLING and UPSET* Maggie C: Drop off. I am a customer. A new customer. You asked me if I was here before. I was here and I talked to you. But I am a new customer. Cranky lady: *banging on the table* NEWCUSTOMERSIGNHERE *pointing at this sign up sheet* *YELLING* Maggie C: You didn’t tell me. How should I know? I am a new cutomer ANDSTOPYELLINGATME *I was getting mad* Cranky lady: Pick up or drop off? You said drop off. That’s pick up. At that time I was so angry because they lady kept yelling at me and kept asking if I was going to pick up or drop off my clothes. I pointed at my bag and threw my clothes on the table. Maggie C: These are my clothes. I haven’t picked up anything. This is called dropping off *pointing at my clothes*. See those clothes hanging there. None of those are mine. That’s not picking up. You should know the difference, especially if you’re in this business. The lady was surprised I actually yelled back at her. She started to calm down but still mumbling she thought I was a customer. $#$%&&^%$$@! Good thing it was 50 percents off. I picked them up days later and was still upset. The lady is probably bipolar. She was super nice again like the first time. Maybe she was afraid of me… maybe she didn’t remember me. I went back again twice after that and every single time it was closed even though the sign was open-see my picture. I gave up… should I give this place one star? But it was cheap so yea 2 stars. I hope the owner of this place reads my review. You’ll lose a lot of business if you keep bipolar there. Btw, would a new customer pick up the clothes if that was her first time there? I rest my case.
