I come here with my wife because it was too late to cook. It’s nice place and the food was OK, from 0 to 10, they got 7 from me!!!

Great service and the portions are huge. We arrived 20 mins before opening time and we were welcome with a warm greeting. The pricing is great and the Xtra large definitely doesn’t disappoint. The phở noodles was pretty good and I am not going to complain about the free dessert. Great place and I will be back.

Omg, this place is horrible! I’ve never eaten something with so much monosodium glutamate in it(MSG). I’m drinking water as I type this. I’ve been drinking water for the past 3 hours. Yes. I ate dinner 3 hours ago and since then, I’ve been thirsty and extra tired. That’s how you know your food is full of crap. The mint that they provided was not washed thoroughly, it had specks of dirt on it. I have a pounding headache from all that MSG overload. My husband ordered the beef combo with rice but without the egg quiche and it came out to be so small. He had to order 2 more portions of meat, which came out to be the same exact size: literally the size of your palm. Why are they so stingy with meat? It’s not like we can’t afford it.($ 5.00 extra for each plate. SOOONOTWORTHIT!) They also charged us double portion rice when we only asked for one on the side. Ugh. NEVERAGAIN!

I love this place!!! We try to find phở spot closer to home and we strike out I only get 2 items. XL rare steak and the egg rolls! they know me here, so customer service is always on point! Not the coolest atmosphere, not the prettiest setting. but the PHO broth is the best I have ever tasted so far. And we always try to find a better Phở spot cause this one is a Lil far for us.

Food here was amazingly cheap and tasted delicious! I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and it only costed me $ 6!!! It’s flavorful and includes pork feet! As it should! It’s also spicy enough where it doesn’t over power the broth. I came here around 8pm and they were still open! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious cheap eats!

Pretty good. Cleanliness is my only complaint. But the staff was really nice and the portions were good. Definitely would go back.

The food is good but the cleanliness of the restaurant is really poor. It looks disgusting and worn out.

Mmm. the phở here is so good and has a little bit of a different taste to it. It reminds me of home made phở. Minus a star because I was here the other day and their utensils were so dirty. But I love the food so I’ll definitely be coming back! maybe with my own utensils? lol

Not gonna lie, the food is delicious, but the sanitation aspect is not there. I found more than a couple cockroach legs in my spring rolls. Make sure to inspect your food carefully if you eat here!

Plenty of parking, friendly staff, good traditional food. Lunch time is always the best and most fresh to enjoy. Hardly ever crowded, with free after meal deserts, it doesn’t get any better!

I’m a huge fan of this place, and the location is so under radar. Plenty of parking and a few blocks from the 10 Freeway. The owners and staff are super friendly and hospitable. The food is always excellent and fresh. The #6 Phở Extra Large is my all time favorite(combination of everything). The bowl is huge with ton’s of food, especially meat. In my travels, I’ve failed to come across a bowl of phở as large and good! The patrons are very eclectic, as I see a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, Hispanic and White. They might want to tone down their use of Oscillating Stand Fans though, as it sometime creates a tornado environment, on their full blast! Maybe it’s a Vietnamese thing?

Phở Dac Biet — probably one of the very worst I had. The rice noodles were all broken. And very stingy on the meat. One time here is enough.

Phở Thanh has the best oxtail phở! I usually come here with my family since they have a lot of room for large groups and children. Their service is excellent and they even give you dessert after your meal. They have a selection of different Vietnamese food not just Phở. Their portion are also great compared to most Phở places around. Come here if you want Phở! :)

This is review is only based off of the seafood egg noodle soup. The noodle soup was good, but not great. I’ve had better seafood egg noodle soup at other restaurants near by. The soup base wasn’t as flavorful as other restaurants I’ve been to. I like the fact that they give you free dessert at the end– sweet tapioca. The décor of the restaurant was clean and well-lit. I’ve also heard that the restrooms were clean too. Haha!

This place used to be my go to spot to satisfy my Vietnamese food cravings. My family and I have been coming here since they’ve opened, which used to be called Phở Saigon. Although the place is now called Phở Thanh, it’s still the same workers and I still see the owner roaming around. This place had pretty good food, friendly staff and lastly it’s very close to where I live. However, after my last visit with my parents. I don’t plan on ever coming back. My parents & I decided to come here since we were hungry and didn’t feel like cooking. My parents ordered their usual which was the broken rice with pork chops and I got my usual the vermicelli with egg rolls/beef and an extra side of egg rolls. I asked the waitress to cook the egg rolls a bit longer because they always seem to under cook my egg rolls. I end up having to nuke my egg rolls in the microwave whenever I buy it to go. Our food finally comes out, the first thing I did was check my egg rolls to see if they were fully cooked or not. My egg rolls weren’t fully cooked as I had requested. I flagged the waitress down and she came. I explained to her that the egg rolls weren’t cooked and asked if she could just fully cook them for me. She glanced at the egg rolls and said sorry and picked my egg rolls off my plate and went in the kitchen. A few minutes later the waitress came out with the owner and they both claim the egg rolls are cooked already and I’m just being overly paranoid. A few minutes ago our waitress also agreed with us saying the egg rolls weren’t cooked. Now she’s claiming they are fully cooked because that’s what the owner was claiming. All I wanted was them to fry it back for a bit longer. I don’t think I was asking for much right? It’s not like I ate half my egg roll then tried getting another egg roll. The owner pretty much just said the egg roll were fully cooked and denied it being under cooked then left. On top of that they never brought back my egg rolls nor give me replacement ones. So i ate vermicelli without my egg rolls, which was a huge let down. I don’t understand why couldn’t they just have fried it for a bit longer, instead they took back my egg rolls and never came back with it. When it was time to pay the bill I was still charged for vermicelli with egg rolls/beef and my extra side of egg rolls. I asked why was I even charged for egg rolls that I didn’t even get to eat. The owner’s response was because I had ordered them, therefore I was charged for it. It just wasn’t worth it for me to put up a fight for him to knock off a few bucks. Since he was so eager to get his few bucks for the egg rolls he took back from me. I gave it to him, because of this he lost my entire family as customers for life. Never again…

My go-to phở place when I’m in the SGV area. — Food quality is pretty consistent and satisfying. — The location is pretty convenient, parking is great. — The owners and the workers are friendly. — Typical affordable SGV prices. — Free dessert.
