Manhattan Bagel

The food and service are usually excellent, but on ¹²⁄₁₉ I had the unfortunate experience of a customer deliberately cutting ahead of me to the cashier, and the employee failed to correct her and have the other customer wait their turn. It was disappointing that I had to correct the customer myself.

This is a great chain bagel spot. I stopped in to grab a bunch for the office Friday morning. You can get a variety pack of 13 bagels plus 2 tubs of cream cheese for $ 15. Easy, fast and affordable. I was in and out within 5 mins and got the whole office breakfast for under $ 20!

LOVE their bagels. Especially with cream cheese and lox. They have great wraps too. My favorite is their Southwest wrap. Eggs, chorizo sausage, tomatoes, etc. It has spicy sauce on it so it’s only for those who like it hot! Their coffee is decent too. I like that they put together a box when you order something like a bagel with cream cheese and lox. They normally include a small container or either potato or macaroni salad and a pickle. Good muffins as well. My daughter loves their double chocolate muffin with chocolate chips inside.

I love this manhattan bagel location. I always come here. Service is so nice and efficient with getting orders out. Bagels are a bit small but always delicious no matter what I get. Inside is very clean and usually very busy. There is nice seating inside and outside.

Lame little bagel like something from a prepackaged shoprite shelf. Just because the name is Manhattan doesnt mean you charge Manhattan prices. 4.25 for a plain bagel with butter and a snapple is offensive. I can get the same thing with a better and bigger bagel in Belleville for 2.50. I wont be going again.

The manager was very professional and friendly. The staff was on their toes, and the food fresh. I got the Asiago cheese roll with grilled chicken, mayo, lettuce and tomato; delicious lunch from this place.

I’m not particularly a fan of the service but the bagels and cream cheeses are good and the sandwiches are okay. It’s conveniently located near 280 exit 4A.
Update: Ok I change my mind. This place is good and the bagels are just too good. I must have had a bad service day but lately the staff have been friendly and a little more patient.
The cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with honey almond cream cheese is like dessert and breakfast at the same time!

Went here on break, they seem a bit understaffed to handle the lunch rush. It took about 15 mins to get everything and be out the door.
Look for coupons when you can. I had one for a sandwich, chips, and drink for $ 4.99, definitely a good deal. Otherwise this would have cost at least $ 8.
Overall, this is a nice, clean place. The staff is friendly, which is a big plus.
Edit to add– I came back here in the morning, and unfortunately it’s still understaffed with a wait of about 10 – 15 minutes.

A nice, clean little stop. The ordering process is a little confusing as is the procuring of a beverage but I guess once you go here as a routine you understand the drill.
Bagels are good and there are plenty of other pastries to choose from as well.
The staff is friendly too.
The parking lot is packed so I can imagine in the heat of the morning rush it might be tough to get a spot.

Been coming here for over 6 years, I absolutely love the staff and the food. The coffee is superb and the egg whites are always cooked to perfection. I have catered with them and they make sure you get everything you ordered. My grandma comes here everyday when she’s home from Florida in the summer and my whole family comes here on Sundays for brunch! I miss shak he was like family to me !!!

Great food and nice staff. If you go there enough they remember your name and order.
Seating is decent, although during lunch rush you might have trouble getting a table.

Manhattan Bagel is now part of my morning routine.
The staff (Diana and Vianey) are very nice and greet customers by name, which is a great way to start any morning. No matter what you order, they’ll get you in and out in no time.
The bagels are always fresh. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The coffee is by far better tasting than Dunkin’ and Starbucks… without question.

Overpriced bagels and they are definitely not fresh. They taste like they were baked already and just heated up. Although the facilities are clean, they just can’t do bagels correctly. Do yourself a favor and just go to Starbucks next door to grab a bagel.

It gets crowded here at times, but the workers are friendly and a good selection of bagels. Coffee is good too!

Took my 1 year old daughter there to get breakfast and as the high chairs are tucked away in the back, asked the cashier if someone could help me by bringing one out. The woman looks at me annoyed and says «they’re in the back» and then responds «yeah in a few minutes». After waiting and waiting i go back and ask again, she responds «yeah, give me a few minutes.» nothing…
I ended up having to leave my belongings on the table and drag out the high chair out w/​one hand while holding my baby in the other. It wasn’t even that busy and would have preferred her say she wasn’t going to help rather than just promise to and leave me hanging.
In the future, I think I’ll look for a place that is more family friendly. It’s too bad, b/​c the bagels & coffee are good.

Stopped in again on Monday for a quick lunch with friends. I ended up getting the low calorie egg with turkey bacon and the price was reasonable. Added a drink and the total cost was about $ 5 + change.
It is a bright spot, sunny, lots of windows. When you enter, usually the order taking part is very fast. Then you pay and wait for your order. Not a bad wait and… the drinks/​soda machine is outside the worker area so you serve yourself. Refills are free on the soda.
A good spot for a quick lunch.

Manhattan Bagel is awesome! Love their bagels and also a fan of their chicken salad (it’s shredded chicken instead of the traditional chunky type). They make great sandwiches and the staff is very friendly at this location.
Only downside is the price. .Could be a little cheape. Six bagels for $ 5.89 is kind of crazy.

First time visiting a Manhattan Bagel. I was blown away by the flavor. I am now searching for one close to my home.
I had the Asiago bagel with Garden Veggie cream cheese. I had my bagel toasted which allowed me to get a nice crispy texture. The cream cheese was nice a cold, so I didn’t have it running out of my bagel.
I am so excited for the next time I am craving a bagel so I can go back.
