Pita Pit

Hmm, well I like to write reviews good or bad. I’m more prone to write good reviews, but sometimes, unfortunately, you have to write bad ones. I read all the positive reviews about this place and being here on vacation I was excited to try this place to avoid all the regular fast food. Hate to say I couldn’t finish the wrap. I’ll start with the positive, the service and staff are excellent. Exactly what you want to see. And the pita bread is awesome!!! I’ve never seen a wrap made that way. Now the cons. It’s basically subway in a wrap. The meat seemed frozen then thawed, kept warm in a drawer. I expected to see gyro on a spit, not cut exactly the same and pulled from a warming drawer. The chicken seemed pressed, not fresh at all, with large pieces of gelatenous fat and the tzaziki sauce was made with cream cheese??? I was confused. I guess if you want subway in a delicious pita bread go here, but if you’re looking for good Greek pitas, unfortunately, you’ll have to try someplace else.

This place is always busy and crowded. The food is good. Nothing special but it’s better majority of the fast food in town. I wish the layout of the venue was more conducive to the constant long lines.

Hurried us through and didn’t listen when they were making our food. Spit out the first bite and threw the rest away.
Doesn’t help that it’s located in a giant trailer park… Errrrr… Roseburg. Hope I never have the occasion to visit this town and establishment again.

I love this place, great fresh ingredients! It is a wonderful break from the regular «fast food» fair. Very nice people and good food.

Delicious Pita’s, entertaining staff, casual atmosphere, well worth stopping by for a bite to eat.
