Opera In Focus

Opera in Focus is one of the best productions that i‘ve ever seen.
Before i discovered Opera in Focus, i wasn‘t a fan of the opera.
Since i‘ve been coming to Opera in Focus, i‘ve learned a lot about opera, and now i‘m beginning to really enjoy them. Justin & Shayne Snyder, Barry Southerland and Leilani
Narciso are incredible puppeteers. Tony Mockus is one fantastic narrator.
I can‘t wait to come back in 2012.

Opera in Focus is amazing, I kind’ve wish I lived there! The puppets are the most intricate, beautiful, well made pieces of art you’ll ever see performing in a puppet type show. The music, is music that any opera lover would adore. Their shows vary by season but they have a pretty good set of non-​changing opera favorites that they flavor with differant pieces at differant times in the year.
Some shows may be a bit much for young chidren, say maybe Faust? But not all, they do a fantastic Hansel & Gretel that children are totally entranced by. I’ve met the staff here and they all seem very dedicated to their art. I think all art performances are made better by a staff that truly enjoys what they’re doing and it’s obvious in the quality of these shows.
