Rosalini’s Pizza & Subs

One star because the guy rubbed his nose, took my payment, (yes it was with a card) but he touched the register screen and placed my receipt under the register drawer where dirty money goes… he then proceeded and touched the entire pizza pie to pull my one slice apart. Touched my slice, placed in oven. Then placed it in my to go box. ALL WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!! Disgusting !!!

Came here several weeks ago for the first time on a Friday evening. The dining room was empty (perfect for eating with young kids) and service was on par. The food was great! Later, We saw that they had a Groupon and we bought one. We went back this past Friday and the place was much busier (probably the Groupon?). We ordered pretty basic stuff (kids’ pizza, Stromboli) and it took AN HOUR to get our food which came out in drips and drabs. By that point, we had had it and we ended up taking our food home. I ordered the same thing that was so delicious the last time but this time it was greasy and bland. I’m not sure if they were overwhelmed by the extra business or what but we will not be going back.

Ordered their pizza tonight! Some of the best pizza I have had. Super cheesy not too saucy. Highly recommend. Their wings and subs are good also.

If you live in Youngsville, there are few options for pizza delivery. Well, there is one that’s in Youngsville proper, but it’s not good pizza and can take over an hour, and we are less than a mile. That’s another story… On a whim, I searched to see if there were any new options, now that the area is growing. Much to my surprise, I found this place and decided to give it a try. They deliver in a 10 — mile radius and we’re under the wire at 9.
On a Friday night, our pizza arrived in 45 minutes, fresh and hot. It was a good NY style, thin crust pizza. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but solid. And they deliver! If our future experiences are as good as our first, we will be patronizing them often.

Had the ribs meal delivered. First off the menu says it comes with potato salad, coleslaw, and a drink. Not true as other Unilocal have confirmed. It comes with crinkle fries and a drink. The ribs were very dry, had to practically go savage to get a bite off the bone. The rub on top is so think I had to scrape it off like icing on a cake, wish it would’ve tasted as good as Walmart icing, but it was terrible. The BBQ sauce that comes with the ribs is mediocre at best. The fries were cold, and unfortunately over seasoned with the nasty rub seasoning, tasted like I was eating salt. The soda comes in individual bottles, so while I haven’t tried mine yet I’m pretty sure it’s the best part of the meal. Threw it all away and would highly recommend anyone interested in this place due to its location, drive the extra 3 – 4 miles south on 401 to Big Al’s BBQ where the moment you take a bite you feel like you’ve landed in Kansas City.

Had a party and the only choice to order pizza was from Rosalini’s. Pizza order and delivery was coordinated with the party place so I can not comment on the speed/​friendliness of the staff. The pizza was better than I was expecting (I did set my expectations very low though), but no where near what I would be willing to eat if I had a choice. Far, far, far too much cheese, and so much that the other toppings disappeared. Definitely avoid any custom basil, tomato and cheese because the basil is dried seasoning, not fresh, and very light on the tomatoes. Crust was okay if you are into the NY flimsy crust — definitely was not crispy in the least. The pizza sizes were very reasonable and maybe even larger than I was expecting. However, more isn’t always better.

I am very new to this area and the food choices within a 10 mile radius are nothing to write home about. I saw this place by accident one day while out shopping and decided to give it a try. I ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely inedible. They were mushy on the outside and not crispy in the slightest. I took one bite and threw them away. The pizza also had a mushy crust? It’s almost like they don’t understand the importance of a pizza crust. A good crust must be cooked thoroughly or you should just stop making pizza all together. I’m sorry but we wasted $ 25 on food we couldn’t stomach. Get a new Italian cook, preferably from NY.

I haev been going here for years, and the food has always been awesome. The briskett pizza is rediculously good. Met the new owner Lisa and she was really great and you could tell she cared about happy customers. I wish I lives closer I would go more often!

Rosalini’s is amazing. They have the most delicious menu options and their delivery time is really short. My favorite in Wake Forest.

Came to this place around 5:15pm Wednesday night [sign said they were open until 9pm]. No one was seated inside but the two main employees [who were maybe the owners — if they were employees they were pretty rude and should get some manners]. There was a young boy who was working the front counter who could not answer any questions I had about the menu [he was very polite but seemed to be very under trained in what he’s selling]. Menu stated two side came with the BBQ combo plates but there were no sides listed. When I proceed to ask about the sides I was told double potato salad or double slaw [why I couldn’t pick one of each is beyond me] but the women in the back yelled they were out of the slaw. He then told me I could pick a bag of chips as one of my sides so I asked what chips did he have at which time the women in the back heard me ask and she said very rudely, it’s double potato salad or nothing because she was out of everything else. How can you be out of everything else when you only really have the two sides and have almost four more hours to serve customers? Don’t you prepare enough stuff to get you through the hours posted?
Service sucked… food was ehh — once is enough on coming to this place!
Maybe there shouldn’t be a sit down restaurant, only keep the delivery and pick-​up service. They seemed too frantic to handle anything else [maybe cut down on so many menu items — this will keep the pace in the kitchen a little even and you might be able to have enough to get you through the evening service!!!

Their BBQ sandwiches are on point. Big tasty and inventive. Their pizza however is not of high quality. They should change over the name from pizza with BBQ to BBQ with pizza.

Had dinner there last night. Service was friendly-​ish. The older lady manager was very friendly but the high school aged blondie was not.
Ordered the ½ rack rib combo for myself and a small deep dish pizza for my wife. Rib’s ain’t that bad; got a pretty good smoke flavor but the BBQ sauce was a bit too sweet. Pizza was quite disappointing; too much cheese, the bottom of the crust was soggy and the sauce was again too sweet. However the gentleman who sat next to us ordered the calzone and it looked quite good so I might try that next time.
Overall this place is ok.

Still Rockin it!

I wanted to give this place another chance and was let down again… My food was cold, incorrectly prepared, and not very good. Of course by the time I discovered this I was already home and couldn’t conveniently return…

Rosalini’s just gets better and better. Pizza and calzone standards are now augmented with BBQ, tri-​tip, beef ribs and, if you need a break from all that red meat, home-​made veggie lasagna so good that this unrepentant carnivore has ordered it the last two times I ate there. Everyone in the place is friendly and helpful, and they seem to remember how every customer likes the pizza cooked. Most customers take out or opt for free delivery, but the kid-​friendly dining area is perfectly adequate for an informal meal. They cater, too. Good food, good value. Enthusiastically recommended!

Clean place. Nice crew. Claim they have the best BBQ around. I’m sure that’s a nice way to put it but I will not agree. The BBQ is average compared to the other option available in the area.
