Window Haven

After a great deal of research I had Window Haven install all the windows and sliders in my home. Bob, Bill and Bryanna did a wonderful job and I feel confident I can count on them
for many years to come.

Wow. Bob’s team did a great job; measuring, delivering and installing the most beautiful piece of glass into an already in-​place solid wood core door in our bookstore. Here is what our facilities guy said about the installation: Some thoughts I would like to share with you about the gentlemen who did the work on the bookstore door. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was carful, efficient and kind. To further explain.
He was very carful and respectful of the property. He was very efficient, no wasted time or material. He took time to explain how he would do the installation and what he recommended I do to do the finish work. I enjoyed myself and learned a thing or three. Especially about nail guns. We had a major remodel and used many different contractors and sources. Window Haven was the best of them all. Professional, on time every time and accurate. When we had a problem with our screens Bob came out to fix it. It turned out it was our mistake not theirs. He was so nice about the mix up and fixed our mistake for us. I would recommend them to anyone needing new windows or replacing old ones. We did both and are delighted with the results.

I’ve been a repeat customer with Window Haven for about 10 years and our experience with them has consistantly been great pricing and service. We’ve moved two times and both houses had original, single pane windows. Window Haven always came in with the best quotes and the installers always did great work with nice clean up. Scheduling was always timely and no problem. We’re going to remodel our basement and I plan on using them again for two large window replacements.

I cannot comment on the quality of their installation because I have yet to receive and have installed the windows I ordered in October. I had failed dual paned windows that had a lifetime warranty from a Washington company. Window Haven was the installer. When I called, I provided my contract number and window size and description. I was told it would take about 3 weeks to receive the windows. No problem. Then after 3 weeks I called to follow up. At first the person I spoke with could not find my paperwork. When she did she said «Oh, those windows arrived borken.» No call to me. After waiting another 2 – 3 weeks I again called. This time the excuse was the windows that arrived were the «wrong size». I was still being patient. The next time I called, I was told, «I didn’t realize you had a gride on the window». i had spoken to the owner, who said the person I spoke with had some personal issues and he was trying to be patient with her. I was still cordial and patient. I had called again (NOTICE AT NO POINT WAS THERE EVER ANY CALLS PLACED TO ME — A LITTLE THING CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE). With my last call, I set an appointment for 8 – 9 delivery today. Nothing, no call, nothing. I called at 9:15 and after some fumbling she found my paperwork and was surprised that I thought I had an appointment! Then she told me the windows were not due to arrive until ¹²⁄₁₉!
This is the WORST EXAMPLE OF LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTER AND TO TOP IT OFF THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A DIAMOND CERTIFIED COMPANY! I am at their mercy — I can only hope I get my replacement windows installed on the 19^th but I am not confident.

I don’t like liars and I don’t like thieves.
My wife and I recently received five bids from local window installers to replace all of our windows. One of the bids I received was from Window Haven. After reviewing our bids, we decided to go with a competitor instead. Soon after having my windows installed, I was in my bedroom one day and happened to look outside. There, in front of my house was the guy I received the bid from, taking pictures of my house from his truck. I went outside to ask him what he was doing, but by the time I got there he had taken off. I thought to myself, «why would he be taking pictures my house?» About a week later I found the answer to my question when I went on his website, and there in plan view was a picture of my home with Window Haven claiming to have done the work. To top it off, the inscription underneath the photo says the windows I had installed were vinyl when in fact they were fiberglass. So here is Window Haven, not only stealing the credit for another companies work, but then also not even being able to tell the difference between what types of windows were put in. I’ll be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this.
Makes you wonder how many of the other photos of houses «they did» on their website are actually someone else’s work.
