if you’re a traditional sushi eater, this may not be the place for you… However, if you’re not picky and you like random flavors wrapped in seaweed like myself then this is your place! It’s been awhile though, last time I ate here was 2007! I was attending Sonoma State University. I’m from the bay area so sushi was one of those things that I kept searching for when I went out to good ol’ ropo! Back then they had all you can eat for about $ 20… Just heard that it closed!!! wow… i’m half surprised, half not surprised. oh well, if it reopens maybe it’ll be better

If anyone hears of this place re-opening perhaps in another location, I’d love to know about it — one of my favs for a cheap and tasty sushi dinner(and I concur about the rounds of saki!)

Sad to see this place has been closed. My first time there was with a group of 15 people. For an all you can eat sushi place the food was the fresh and menu blow away boat houses. The best uni I had was at U N I. The more we orderd the more sake the owner would give to use on the house. Its a whole in the wall spot that makes up in service and value was a good place for first times with Japanese cuisine.

Really not very good. I went here a few times because there aren’t many all you can eat sushi places in the area. The sushi here, however, is mediocre, and not very fresh. I was pretty offended when I saw the chef unwrapping some spicey tuna rolls he had made earlier, rather than making them when I ordered them. Sub par.

Well, what else can you say about a all you can eat sushi place, it’s a good value. The food can be variable, but it’s a good value if you got an itch for a whole lot of sushi. Stick with the sushi and stay away from the non-sushi items, well maybe the sizzling beef isn’t horrible. Lunch is a good deal, it’s $ 5 cheaper than dinner. When I go, maybe twice a year, I try to get there early so I can get a seat at the bar. If I could, I’d give it 2 ½ stars.
