Tamara Rantissi

I found Tamara here, on Unilocal,about 1 year and a half ago. She has been wonderful, she is honest with color and cut, as far as what she feels would look good, with your face structure and color. I am so very glad that I have found her.

I started out with boring, shoulder length hair, and Tamara gave me the CUTEST short pixie cut ever! She is really nice and took her time, listening to what I wanted and gauging how my hair would behave. It is obvious she is well educated in hair. Highly recommend!

Tamara is the best! I found her on a whim, I needed an asap appt since the girl I booked with elsewhere dropped the ball. (I’m glad she did though because I wouldn’t have found Tamara). I had called about 10 different salons and came across her name on Unilocal.After reading her reviews I crossed my fingers and called. I was going on vacation and it was my last hope to get my hair done before my trip. There was no answer but less than an half hour later she called back and after hearing my dilemma, was sweet enough to work me in that same day! She listened to what I wanted and worked her magic on my hair. The color was amazing and the cut was perfect!
I have since gone back for my touch up and once again left even happier than the first time. I wanted a change so decided to cut off about 5 inches and got some high/​lowlights. I LOVE the cut, layers and color. She really listens to what you want and makes sure you’re happy when you leave. I have never gotten this many compliments on my hair and am so happy I finally found someone who listens, AND she is super nice and sweet! I highly recommend her!

I usually stick to my stylist back home, but I was in dire need of a haircut. After searching extensively for a place with good reviews I came across Tamara’s name and thought I’d take a chance. I have to say, I went in with high hopes and expectations and came out feeling wonderful. I had a great experience for being out of my comfort zone. Tamara really listened to what I thought and didn’t rush me with deciding how to cut it. Super friendly staff and a nice shop too. I love my new haircut so I’ll be going back :)

Tamara Rantissi is a true color artist. I have followed her from one salon to another because I have never received as many compliments as I do since I have been going to her. She is a sweet person and very professional. I highly recommend her for all of your hair styling needs.

I was recommended to Tamara by a client of hers when I was looking for new hair stylist. My hair was dull looking and often became «frizzy» between cuts. Tamara suggested a type of conditioner that would last between cuts, giving my hair a smooth and silky appearance. It worked! My next visit was a cut and color highlights. I left the entire decision up to Tamara as to color and cut — never have I been more pleased! I live out of town (and State!), but am so pleased with Tamara and the results I see after having an appointment with her, I will continue to travel for appointments with Tamara.

Tamara is so friendly, nice and easy to book with. AND, on top of all that does great hair! My hair has never been so healthy and natural looking. Love the color product that she uses and lack of «hair color smell» during and afterwards. I highly recommend her.

I recently decided it was time to take my waist length locks and send them off to Locks of Love so they could go to someone who needs them. I’ve had my hair short before, but I always dread how much work that will require of me (as a working mother of 2, my morning routine has to be quick). I have very wavy hair… and very thick hair. It’s tricky to cut to say the least. So poor Tamara! I really felt bad for her when I made the appointment. Not only was she up to the task, but she exceeded my expectations! For the first time in my life I have an above shoulder cut that I can actually allow to air dry and it actually looks amazing! It’s also super cute if I have a little extra time to blow dry and straighten. I really didn’t think it was possible. I’m loving my new cut!

Tamara is great at what she does, can I say I love my hair every time she does it. Today was the first time getting ombré on my hair and it looks and feels great. I highly recommend making a appointment, and making her your new hairstylist trust me you will love her work.

Tamara is great! I went in for highlights but wanted low maintenance. Tamara had just taken a Loreal class and used the technique she learned. The maintenance on my highlights was awesome. Barely any! I have dark hair. She always gives me great ideas and I love the way my hair looks.
