Middle of the afternoon…” we’re out of bell peppers and we have no trays”. Wasn’t even busy! Watched one of the girls just pacing back and forth from the back to behind the counter when she could’ve been, oh I don’t know, cutting bell peppers or washing trays? Majority of the tables were dirty and both girls seemed to have attitudes… like we were really interrupting their day. Plenty of other Subways around to spend my hard earned money. Won’t be spening it there again!

Kimberly at Subway on commerce rocks! She did an absolutely great job. We come here all the time and I think she may be our favorite sandwich maker! Hope she’s here forever. No I don’t, I hope she pursues bigger dreams. But she’s awesome.

Server walked away as I approached the glass. This happens so much at both chipotle and subway… I’m sick of it… I’ve decided that everytime I walk into an empty subway and the sandwich maker walks away(happens allot) I’m going to one star the place… what kind of business model is this… the whole, I’ll help you when I feel like it return on investment concept i guess…

My experience has been that there’s more variance with sandwich quality at this site than the other spot across the freeway. Depending on your sandwich artist you might get a full sandwich or sown thing flat and lackluster. I’ve been disappointed when artists skimp on the veggies even though I’m getting a vegetarian sandwich.

One hour and a half before closing. They are out of the Sourdough Bread being advertised and out of soup. The girl said at 9:40PM that it’s only a little over an hour before closing, so it’s not worth making more soup. Really? I told her that they should have at least made some more Sourdough Bread since they are ADVERTISING it! So I’m annoyed that I didn’t get any sourdough bread for my half of the sandwich. I was further annoyed that they covered the meat on my sandwich(or should I say didn’t cover) with TWOHALFPIECES of PROVOLONECHEESE! I asked for two more half pieces and was told that Subway considered the half pieces to be whole pieces of cheese and that it would actually cost another 30 cents if I WANTEDTWOACTUALPIECESOFCHEESE! Really?’

We have gone to this location a few times. Each time there seems to be some sort of problem(credit card machine goes down, not enough flavor syrup in their soda machine, etc). This time I was tricked into overpaying for our drinks because the lady at the register, I believe the manager, possibly the owner«can only ask two options; medium or large». We always order the smallest drinks when we have subway. Any amount of soda isn’t good, but why enhance that with a larger cup, it is not the soda I am there for anyway. So when I get to the register to pay, the lady asks if I want anything else with our sandwiches. I told her to make them both meals(chips + drink). She asked if I want medium or large drink. I looked at the only 2 options for cups right in front of me, and proceeded to grab the ones we normally get and I said«medium». Afterall, today’s medium is yesterday’s small everywhere you go. So she swipes my card, punches in her keys, hands back my card and then says«that’s a small cup». I said«well this is the one I grabbed and this is what I want.» She says«well that’s a small.» I responded with«well you said medium or large. Why would you ask me that, when I am grabbing a small cup?» Her response was surprising and idiotic. «Most people get a medium or large when they come in.» I said, «well I don’t.» She says«well I can only ask two options when I ask; medium or large». I looked at her and rolled my eyes. She wasn’t about to credit my card back. She shrugged it off like oh well. The two employees cranking out the sandwiches were very nice, helpful and competent. I did sense they seemed a bit stressed though. Since there are so many other locations to choose from in the area, I think we’ll be passing this one by from now on.

The bread tasted fresh and the meat was the way it should be. Staff was pleasant. Little bit skimpy on the vegetables. The restaurant is not saving that much money by being skimp on vegetables. 2.25 to make a footlong a meal. Small bag of chips and a small drink. 1.50 would be more reasonable. I didn’t order the meal for that reason. The restaurant should né satisfied with a small profit margin on the chips and drinks to encourage people to order them. Noisy. The ice machine was noisy. Needs to be fixed.

Pros: This Subway is CLEAN, and the food is fresh. I’ve had bad experiences with other Subways in the past – white-ish tomatoes, roast beef that looked to have bled into the bread, zero clean tables, etc. But I’ve never had a problem with the cleanliness and freshness of this Subway. The employees are pretty timid, but once you ask them how their day is or something, they smile more. They seem to be remembering me when I come in now, which is nice. Their service is also timely. I’m never just standing around waiting unless it’s truly, very busy. Cons: It’s right next to Baskin Robins, a delicious Mexican restaurant, and Little Ceasar’s… It’s tempting to walk into one of those instead of getting the healthier choice! It’s not really a con, though.

This is one of the cleaner Subways that I have ever eaten at. Very friendly! They seem a bit tight with the produce on the sandwiches compared to other Subways though. Over all a good experience.

It’s a Subway. At the expense of a brief fling with your wallet, you will gain an ever growing animosity from your porcelain.

This one is pretty damn good. I am a fan of the veggie subs on Whole Wheat and it’s what I base my Subway standard on. Good sandwhich, and the staff listens to you as you order. It’s not a hard concept to make one of these, but nothing pisses me off faster then when they get it wrong.

The 12-inch meatball on wheat bread with extra sauce, parmesan cheese and a shake of oregano and pepper is the only edible item on their menu. But it is actually quite good.
