First, Rob’s Lunch Box Dell/Café ambience is quiet, clean and comfortable. I loved the lunch box décor, which elicited feelings of nostalgia. The menu is excellent — various ethnic foods from chicken katsu to falafel wraps. I had the Breakfast Bagel, which was delicious– the multi seeded bagel was perfectly toasted, scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the ham thinly sliced. The service was warm and friendly– they asked the right questions and answered my questions with ease. When I am in the Rohnert Park area, I will be back!

Rob’s Lunch Box in Rohnert Park, CA is the best deli in Rohnert Park. The food is great, the service is great too. I think you get a nice portion for the money. I like that you can order on line and your food is ready when you get there. I have had 5 different things from their menu so far and everything has been good. I would recommend Rob’s to anyone looking for a good deli.

There’s nothing wrong with this place and they seem like really nice people but they do nothing exceptional. It’s not a four and half star place. While not expensive, it’s not so cheap that they couldn’t use good ingredients. I’m sure many people have never had a great Reuben but the bread and the meat tasted like they came right off the shelf of the supermarket.

This place is really fantastic. Most importantly: the food is delicious, fresh and generously portioned. But moreover, the service at Rob’s is above and beyond the call of duty. My wife and I had a Chihuahua mix named Luna. Like most dogs, she loved food. Sometimes, when Jessica couldn’t have her I would take her to my office.(I am self employed so nobody tells me I can’t bring my dog to work.) One day I walked«Loons» over to the Lunch Box and ordered up some grub. They not only brought me a delicious meal, but also brought Luna a heaping bowl of tri tip trimmings. She devoured it in a flash. Sadly, Luna died of an unexpected health condition. Crestfallen but missing a pup in our life, we adopted another Chihuahua mix named Lily. The next time I went to Rob’s he personally and immediately asked about Luna. I informed him of our news and introduced him to «Lils.» And sure enough, he emerged with a bowl of chopped chicken for the newest member of our family. It was«gone in sixty seconds.» Only it wasn’t nearly sixty… She commenced begging for my sandwich upon completing her meal. What kindness. What attention to detail. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat. It’s a part of the community. They should be supported so they stay around a long while.

Today was my first time at Rob’s. Had an appointment across the street so I thought I’d check it out while I was over there. It’s in an industrial neighborhood. It’s a cute little café type place. You order at the counter, sit yourself at a table(inside or out) and they bring your order out to you. They guy who served me was suuuper friendly, they had my order out to me within 5 – 10 minutes and my BLTA sandwich was so on point! Perfect ratio of ingredients, very fresh, bread toasted perfect and bacon crisp! I will most definitely be going back, especially since I now live near by and I want to try their French dip everyone has been raving about!

You must try the french dip sandwich! I got it to go and soon as I got back to my desk I devoured the whole thing. The au jus was hot, the cheese melted and the grilled onions were perfectly cooked. The meat was thinly sliced. They also throw in a side of horseradish and a pickle!

Great food, hidden in the industrial district of Rohnert Park, has outside seating! This place is crushing food for the local business at lunch, so it is always fresh. The owner has a catering service I think which shows how on point he is when they have specials! The owner is super friendly and knows what’s up on the quality/value menu! Highly recommend for the«hungry value seeking» non-fast food oriented customer!

Recently ate at Robs lunch Box for the first time. Had the burger and fries. The burger was cooked a little too much but still good. The French Fries were crispy and real good. Husband had the meatball sandwich and it was ok.

I came here because my car was being worked on next door, and I wanted coffee. It was quite warm outside, so I asked if they can make their coffee drinks iced, and they could. But I could tell that they don’t do it that often, partly because he put it in a «hot» cup. And although it was cold and not watered down, it didn’t have ice in it, which is actually great, because I got the volume I paid for. I just didn’t expect that, so that was pretty cool.

Ate the tri tip combo plates. The meat is excellent! Homemade potato salad was loved by all.

We both agreed on a simple lunch, nothing elaborate and at a neighborhood joint. With these objectives in mind, my long time out-of-town bud, Paul, sought enlightenment from Unilocal to steer us in the right direction. The name«Rob’s Lunch Box» popped out. What a cute name! It sounded perfect for our needs. We haven’t seen each other in at least 10 years and we needed a spot to have lunch, do some catching up and shoot the shit. Pulling up to the store, we noticed how small the place is with an unpretentious and unobtrusive façade on State Farm Drive. It was raining hard and no one was seated in the patio. The five small wooden booths Japanese style were against the right wall while the order counter was right in front. A friendly and welcoming Jessica warmly greeted us and walked us through the menu board hung above the counter. After a quick glance at the menu, we both decided on a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup($ 4.25) that we thought would surely hit the spot on a dreary day. This was one hearty soup with chock-full of ingredients. I could tell the soup was made from chicken stock with shredded chicken, tomatoes, beans and corn garnished with multi colored tortilla chips. Every little ingredient contributed to the final zesty and savory flavor with the tortilla chips delivering a salty crunch. It came with two slices of garlic bread making this a small meal by itself.(4⁄5) One of Rob’s signature sandwiches, Mega French Dip and Fries($ 10.95), certainly caught my attention. It consisted of thinly sliced tri tip steak served on a lightly textured, freshly baked baguette. The key or foundation to Rob’s tasty French Dip was his house made au jus with its deep beefy flavor. The caramelized onion was a tasty complement to the sandwich not to mention the mild, sweet and nutty flavors of melted Swiss. To accompany the sandwich, I opted for the tart, tangy coleslaw instead of the carb heavy fries. I savored every bite from start to end as it surpassed all my prior expectations. Paul took a bite too and he quickly concurred! No kidding! I know Paul is very picky with his food. In fact, he is getting more fastidious with age.(5⁄5) Paul hailed from the South once upon a time and he just couldn’t resist the BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders($ 10.95). He was happy with the pulled pork, not too sweet, scrumptious BBQ sauce and tender enough for him to chew with his dentures although he didn’t get to taste too much of the Carolina coleslaw. A little sweet with a little tang… I loved that too. We both wondered why sliders tasted so much better than a regular sized sandwich. The sliders came with a hefty pile of fries and Mac ‘n’ cheese to boot! I could see ol’ Paul getting on in his years when he couldn’t finish the delicious Mac ‘n’ cheese!(4⁄5) This is a clever operation, opened for lunch and breakfast 5 days a week and closed weekends. I would imagine most of his business is from the nearby businesses. The breakfast menu is pretty run-of-the-mill with bagel, omelet, croissant, burrito etc while lunch covers the whole gamut from salads, gourmet sandwiches, wraps and rolls. Rob is a personable guy and will chat with you whenever he has a moment.

5 stars for convenience, next to work. 4 stars for Breakfast burritos — fresh potatoes, instead of frozen, would take it to a 5 zero stars for fish and chips. Fish coating is horrible! Fish itself is good, but the exterior coating was disgusting. Friendly staff earns a 5 star

There are so many things to like about this deli, including the fun and funky interior and the friendly, accommodating staff! My faves are their vegetarian sandwich(made to perfection) and French dip sandwich – the BEST I’ve had in Sonoma County.

Came in for a late breakfast for me and a early lunch for my 17 year old son. I had the biscuits and gravy — this comes with two biscuits with a great white gravy with sausage, eggs(I had mine scrambled) and potatoes. It was really good. The gravy was not too peppery, as this is a problem sometimes. And, the potatoes were nice and crisp, not greasy at all. My son had the BLT. It was very good — or so I assume since he ate the whole thing. Service is wonderful. Food does not come out instantly, they make your food to order but are quick in getting orders ready and served. You can get all food to go and you can even order online if you would like to just run in and pick up. The only downside is the only time I can eat here is I have the day off from work. They are only open Monday — Friday for breakfast and lunch. Lower end of Moderate Pricing — About $ 10 – 15 per person(Meal, Drink, Tax and Tip)

Two coworkers and I dined here for lunch today and the food was tasty, the staff was friendly and it was generally speedy(although our fries took a bit). Pros: Tuna was delish and not too mayonnaise-y Food was served hot! Cashier was very friendly Cons: No silverware on the table(even when eating a sando, it’s nice to have!) No condiments besides ketchup on the table Fries were a little oversalted We will definitely be back – everything was fresh tasting and the food was simple. Perfect for a work lunch.

I love that you can order online. The food is always fresh and the staff are friendly. I like the falafel or the turkey pesto wrap. Their breakfast burritos are all good and they have espresso drinks as well. Great, quick lunch in a convenient easy to park location.

I got the burger, but on toasted sourdough! Loved it :) The burger was fresh and hand formed, not a frozen Costco patty like other places server!

I came in around 9:30 to pick up sandwiches for our group before an 11am wine tasting trip. They gave great recommendations on what would travel well and how to hold it until ready to eat(pro tip: grilled panini, not refrigerated). They even asked what kinds of wine we’d be tasting in helping me make my cheese decision. Lots of meat options including sliced tri-tip and corned beef, and many veggie options. The drink and chip selection is pretty great too. Added plus: they have gluten-free bread! It was quiet in here at 9:30, but I’d imagine it gets busy at lunch time.
