I use to take my vehicle here for monthly maintenance and just recently got a new vehicle which pretty much was sold to me as a lemon and had a hole in the tire from a nail. I had went to America’s Tire in Santa Rosa by coddingtown mall and the guy was completely rude to me and wanted to charge me $ 100 for a used tire for a 2002 PT Cruiser, Edwards Auto charged me $ 45 for the tire in a little bit more to put my spark plugs In, he was completely honest with me in his opinion in regards to future reference of the PT Cruiser I have had absolutely nothing but pleasant experiences here.

I had taken my car to the dealer a couple times for an issue, they couldn’t get it right. I called Jason at Edwards Auto… I took the car in and he spent quite a bit of time time diagnosing the problem and he managed to fix it right.
He had my car there for an entire day and only charged me 1 hr labor… he is as honest as they come… his prices are great
Honesty and integrity are important to me, and I will definitely be taking my vehicles back to Edwards Auto for any maintenance needs in the future

This is the place to take your car (s)!!! First of all, I was so impressed by Jason and this shop that I am writing my FIRST review on Unilocal.My kid brother’s brakes were grinding so we took his car to a local chain that I use for tires. They did a free brake check and then told us that the car needed front brake pads and rotors. The cost was going to be approx $ 355. Ugh! I decided to call around. Pep Boys was $ 255 but a Unilocal review scared the heck out of me and I didn’t want to go there. I called another local shop and his quote was $ 455!!! Come on people — this is a standard brake job we are talking about!!! I have done them myself when I was young — it’s not rocket science! So, I read the above reviews about Edward’s Automotive and I called. Jason answered and I asked for a quote. $ 175 if it needs rotors. WOW!!! I had to make sure he heard that the car needed brakes and rotors. Yup! $ 175. I was like, okay, that’s what I’m talking about. So, we took the car in. They were very nice (and busy which I find to be a good sign). He asked if we could leave it for a couple of hours which was no problem. When we went to pick up the car Jason met us at the little desk in the shop. He showed us the rotors which one side had been completely worn out. He told us the last person who did the brakes didn’t even bleed that side and it ruined the rotor. There was a small part that was also ruined because of it (I don’t remember the name). He bled the brakes, replaced the part and then replaced the brakes and rotors. I got a little nervous after he said he had to bleed the brakes and replace this little part that fortunately he had in his shop. How much is he going to charge me now? I knew it was too good to be true — Nope — he actually SAVED me money when he bought the parts and the total was $ 155!!! I couldn’t believe it. Not only was he nice — he showed me the old parts that were worn — his crew was talking to us and laughing — but he saved me money!!! Finally, an Honest hard working mechanic doing what he loves just trying to make a living — not by ripping off people!!! Please go to this shop because I do not want him to go out of business. It is located in the garage of the Valero gas station on Southwest Blvd. You will not regret it. I told him thank you for being honest and that my family had a ton of cars and that we would be back!!! What a great experience!!! By the way — my brother was amazed when he got in the car at how well the brakes worked :-)

Jason is professional, patient and below average pricing. He was patient with me through all my questions regarding what he would be doing to my car. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I lost the key to remove my tires and he was so helpful and called around to borrow one. He also checked with me about the cost of some of the factory parts versus a less expensive version. I found that to be honest and thoughtful. My car has found her automotive match! Thank you Jason and team!
