One of the best caramel cappuccino’s I have ever had! The baristas were super fast and friendly. Cool vibe to the place; would love to check it out in the summer when the garage doors are open!

Easily some of the best coffee on the west side. Great monthly specials and the baristas are super friendly.

Such a great place to grab a cup of coffee, eat Some grub, and take a deep breath. This is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. It is the epitome of being local, which I adore. The atmosphere is contemporary but comfortable. You’re surrounded by art made by local artists and they have a cute little patio. I’ve had a few seasonal items which they change monthly that have always been good. Their panini sandwiches are great, but be prepared they take a little while to make. My kids love the smoothies and of course all the sweet stuff in the bakery case. I think this is a great staple in the neighborhood!

They never let me down with my favorite iced toddy in town. I come through the drive thru multiple times a week. Love it!

New to Cleveland but I’m not new to Good Coffee and Great Service! I’m recommending Erie to all my Friends and Family.

I like Erie Café but this place need renovation. It has wonderful location and specious but doesn’t feel cozy. Their branch in downtown Cleveland is much more better. They offer Cheesecake though but I didn’t try it !!!

What a cool spot to grab some java and get some work done on my laptop(or play on my iPad!) Erie Island has a fun, laid back atmosphere with great coffee, numerous other beverage options and treats to eat! Stop in you won’t regret it.

One of my favorite, local spots. Amazing coffee, delicious bakery and fun staff. Love that it’s not a pretentious coffee shop and it’s simply full of locals enjoying a delicious, local cup of joe!

*Disclaimer* I don’t go to Erie Island Coffee on my own free will. I am forced to make bagel deliveries here and therefore only out of pure convenience have I sampled their wares. Normally I would never stoop so low. I have standards people! Ok ok, so that’s not totally true. I do make bagel deliveries to the Rocky River Erie for Cleveland Bagel Co., that part is true. I don’t however think they have inadequate wares. I actually really like starting my day off with a small soy latte from them. Though I guess it really isn’t «starting my day» since I get up at 3:30am, and have already been in the kitchen for 2 hours by the time I get there… but you get the idea. I originally would get a medium soy latte but then I read too many articles about how soy is really bad for you. So now with the size downgrade I am only ruining my body a little opposed to a lot, and that’s good enough for me. I can’t really speak to anything else at Erie seeing as I have literally only ever gotten various sizes of the soy latte. I can however highly recommend the bagels. They are easily the best part of Erie Island Coffee… but we all knew that. The managers are cool. I like talking to them in the morning. They make me hate baristas a little less than I did before I started making deliveries here. I guess I should mention I am also a barista at a competing bakery/café. #awkward. If anything that should make you take my review more seriously because it is in my best interest to make people think Erie sucks so they come to my place instead. Oh also, I only gave them 4 out of 5 stars because apparently it’s «too harrrrd to make latte art with sooooooy milkkkk.» I think you just aren’t trying hard enough Jordan.

Ok, Erie Island, I get that cooking your yummy breakfast sandwiches would have put the car behind me out a whole extra minute and a half of their day, so I was fine going in to pick it up. But filling my coffee cup up to the brim resulted in coffee burning me as the unapologetic barista handed it to me. After returning to my car to get my sandwich I noticed that I was not given the cream I had asked for, resulting in a second trip in and more spilled coffee because the cup was still too full.

Ok coffee, decaf is the best option. Service has certainly changed since the start. Employees are short with the customers and not at all friendly as they used to be. I do not appreciate being called Bro or dude by anyone, let alone a stranger.

The chalkboard drink specials read like a culinary romance novel to me. Cracker Jack Latte. Cheesecake Latte. Snowflake Latte. Tirimasu Mocha. I mean, comon now, I basically want shot of every single item. Woe is me. I settled on the Cracker Jack Latte and sidled up to a(chilly!) table next to the window to get some work done. The lovely latte wasn’t overly sweet(as the barista promised me it wouldn’t be) and the ratio of froth to steamed milk was definitely on point. My main ish with this latte was the de-freakin’-licious caramel peanut butter syrup was all at the bottom of my mug — it just wasn’t mixed in. Thus, I was *forced* to scoop out said sugar surprise after I guzzled my latte. First world problems. Next time I’m in Rocky River, I’ll certainly stop by Erie Island Coffee for another perusal of the specials menu!

This is my coffee spot. Perfectly located right by mi casa and(kind of) on my way to work. They have a nice urban-cozy feel to the place. Erie Island isn’t just tooting their horn with their signage«Seriously amazing coffee.» It should really say, «Seriously FABULOUS lattes.» They always have different latte-flavor creations, some of my favorites being root beer, tiramisu, lavender & honey, cinnamon french toast, maple-bacon, and chocolate strawberry mocha! I have asked the barista to make me something new and their flavors never disappoint. Their regular joe is good too. I got a big Costco size bag of the craftsman beans as a Christmas gift… and a gift card to treat myself. My staple is the raspberry soy latte– but one of the dudes at Erie Island clued me into this little fact: Every so often the acidic syrups(like raspberry) will clot the soy milk if it gets cold. So drink up! Want a snack? I would recommend their crushes and everything vegan cookie– I get mad cravings for those dang cookies. They also offer bagels from the Cleveland Coffee Co. I’m proud to say I’ve reached a regular status at this coffee establishment.

I agree with the reviewers who said the service is going downhill. I used to love going to Erie. Now, I’m going to avoid this place like the plague. The past couple of times I’ve been here recently, the baristas were always short & try to rush my order. Not only that, one barista made a remark about what my sister & I ordered. Excuse me, I didn’t ask for your opinion! Very rude & couldn’t even get our orders right. I’m sticking with Starbucks, Dunkin, & I’ll find another local coffee shop that actually deserves my business.

I hate to say this, but… service has gone downhill. Lattes aren’t really that hot and I have had to send stuff back a number of times. Drive-thru gets priority, so that I get ignored for minutes on end when in the shop, yet when I use the drive-thru it is no quicker and I am never met with a smile. Overpriced and have gotten incorrect change back more than once with hardly an apology when I mentioned it(and it wasn’t pennies, it was ten dollars). I still like the ambiance and I like doing work there, but Dunkin’ Donuts also has free wi-fi and they actually make me feel welcome.

I showed up on a Sunday morning wanting something to help with my Zombie like state. They have a drive thru but I decided to park and come inside since it was my first time there. The staff was friendly especially when trying to comprehend my «I just woke up» mumbling. I am not a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy tea so I got myself a Chai Latte with whip cream. It was ready within minutes and at the condiment station I added some cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. Oh. My. Gosh. DELICIOUSNESS in my mouth! It was $ 3.50 for a small, but quite the little treat for my Sunday morning.

Pretty impressed with this coffee shop. Always ample amounts of seating and tables. Fire place makes it cozy. Coffee itself is pretty great as well. Black Americanos are my normal drink– and they hand pull the shots and make it fresh. They recently added Panini’s(they call them Crush’s) to their menu– great addition. I just had the Caprese Crush. Delicious. They make the Panini’s fresh and have a grill right there. Reasonably priced($ 5 — $ 6). Only downside is the attitude by some of the baristas. Some of them can seem very aggravated and at times rude to customers. Only saw one of them smile in my 2 hours sitting there. But they all make great coffee– so I don’t mind the sour faces.
