A valuable asset to the area! Back to Basics has a generous selection of natural and organic necessities. They have a bulk section as well offering nuts, seeds, dried fruits, spices, and some herbs. My husband and I bring our jars here to refill on spices and herbs, which are very fairly priced. I spend probably an eighth to a quarter of what I would spend to buy organic spices at a grocery store. You can also find coupons for this store in the community coupons that are delivered to your mailbox if you live in the area (I get it in Sound Beach).
The owners and staff are wonderfully friendly and good people. Highly recommend supporting this unique small business!

I really love this place! Cute hometown health food store. They have a little bit of everything there. Organic snacks if you are on a walk through town, grains, frozen food, organic beauty supplies, and much more. But my favorite part is the sweet kitty cat. Meow!
