It’s just like any other Outback. Good food, friendly waiters and waitresses, but slow service.

Meat accurately prepared. Vegetables steamed perfectly. Clam chowder some of the best I have had. Quick tip: garlic potatoes have LOTS of garlic.

Outback is predictably wonderful, especially when you are traveling and tired and don’t feel like risking a ‘local favorite’! The fresh salad, yummy bread, and great little classic sirloin, along with a decently priced wine, is a relaxing ending to a day on the road. The Rocky Mount team, in particular Melissa, our server, was, once again(we’ve been down this road before) friendly and attentive and accommodating. On this visit, we were served a bottle of wine which was a bit of an up charge from the one we ordered… an honest misunderstanding, yet Melissa and the manager immediately corrected the bill. The service is always outstanding… what you might expect if you were a weekly customer, a neighbor, or a friend… not an I-95 traveler! Thanks…we will be back on our next trip from Florida to Maryland !!!

outback has always been one of my favorite places to frequent for quality food and good service. However, the past two times I’ve been the food has been subpar and the service horrible. The server lacked people skills, and the ability to refill drinks. Thus, I wont be eating Outback for awhile after this last encounter.

Food below average, nothing special. Passing through on my road trip was expecting the same taste as other outback steakhouses but this one sucks. Steak, ribs, wings, scrimp nothing special just below average. Disappointed wasted $ 70.

Service was great during late lunch/early dinner time. Close to I95 for those long Florida treks. Server was great dealing with my Daughter’s menu questions and special requests. Steak, bloomin’ onion and tuna were all well cooked and seasoned.

We ordered two cheeseburgers to go. They were not great. The buns were stale, the lettuce was literally a few shredded scraps, and the fries counted maybe a dozen. The burgers were cooked the way we asked but the meat was not quality, tough. Guess with take out they can give you an inferior product because by the time you open it up you’re in your hotel room and not going back out. Disappointing. The upside was the curbside service was very good.

The steaks at this Outback are not as good as other locations I have been to. The service is slllooww do not go her unless you have plenty of time. This is poor location for Outback. I do not recommend this place.

We just had our dinner at the Outback. Our ordered steaks were too tough to cut. The manager, Mary, was just wonderful. She offered to prepare the steaks again. My husband agreed, but I chose a different entrée, the firecracker salmon. We both enjoyed our meals, the second steak was tender and cooked just right. And because we had to wait for our meals, we were offered complimentary desserts. A good experience. Judy L River Edge, NJ

Ate here for lunch and dinner while on business. Service was great, and food was fast and good. Both servers where very pleasant. There is not much to choose from in town but this was a great choose

Like Ray said, Outback is typically a safe bet when you’re traveling. Great ribs when I ate here. Well worth it.

Consistent and Safe when traveling into unknown waters. Not sure about some of the new menu items. Not sure what was more suprising, me trying the clam chowder or it actually being not bad.

Outback used to be one of my favorites, but the quality has really gone downhill in the last year or so. They don’t handle busy times well and always seem to have some sort of problem. After a particularly bad experience in Kingsport, TN I wrote to the company and never got any reply. If there are any other choices, I go elsewhere.

I should start out saying that I LOVE Outback Steakhouse. Their Walla Halla Pasta is probably my favorite food dish, hands down. However, my family and I have had issues with this Outback recently. Their takeout service can be VERY spotty. We’ve gotten home several times with half of our meal missing. If you order take-out, be sure to check your order! Also, their food isn’t very consistant. Sometimes my pasta will have no seasoning, sometimes no sauce, and other times be perfect. Despite these flaws I do love Outback and I enjoy eating here.

Its an outback. Its sh1t. If you have no choice though at least you can get some fish and salads. They are all the same, so boring. Not sure how it got a 4 star review … oh wait they also gave McDonalds 4 stars ftw.
