Usually, fast food joints start with 3 stars and go down from there. Today was a first for me – first time eating at ANY joint inside a walmart/store. I had a dr appt this morning and had to fast so I haven’t eaten a bite all day and I’m dropping off my RX at walmart. 30 – 40 minute wait? I’M STARVING! I head down to the Subway and there’s more than a few customers. I look totally awful, all sick and messed up but the two guys working are just as nice as they can be. Not only that, they seemed extra intent on cheering me up and making me feel better. Subway is subway menu wise. As long as the bread is fresh there’s not too much difference in them. It’s the employees on duty at this one that put it above the others. I wish I got their names but all I can tell you is they were working lunch 5⁄27. Thanks for making me smile and thanks for the EXTRA olives. :)

I just went there earlier today. The young man on duty was counting change which took him several minutes while I waited. Then after handling coins he stuck his hands under running water for five seconds without using soap or anything. Then with his hands dripping wet he picked up some gloves and put them on. I just said no thanks and walked out.

Maybe it depends on who is on duty, but I went in this morning for a sandwich and found this Subway to be very disappointing. The boy on duty did not have the cover down on the vegetables so they were open to the warm air and any flies in the room. The lettuce was brown, the cucumbers were wilted, the tomatoes were looking bad too. The tubs of peppers and olives were all but empty. Plus I asked him to wrap the two halves of my sandwich separately, he said he would then in less than 5 seconds he forgot? I had to remind him again, and he took it back and did as I asked. I won’t be going back to this location. Warm, wilted vegetables make for a higher risk of food poisoning.

Everyone loves the $ 5 footlong subway deal and I am no different. My favorite subway sandwich is the meatball marinara… but every location i go to(in CA) gives me maybe between 6 – 8 meatballs in my sub. I stopped at this location inside the walmart in texas and they stuffed my sub with 10+ meatballs!!! the bread could barely hold the meat and fixings. EVERYTHINGISBIGGERINTEXAS!!!
