Food was ok. I have been there three times and the dining area has always been dirty. They should really address this as it just looked and felt unclean. My wife asked for a manager and there was no adult manager working.

Got Raising Canes from Rockwall location. My cole slaw has NOTHINGONIT!!! No mayo, NONOTHING!!! Just shredded cabbage and carrots. My chicken is wet… Not crunchy at all. My Arnold Palmer(Sweet Tea and Lemonade) looks and taste like watered down tea with no sugar. Fries are soggy and cold. Had to wait in the drive thru for over 15 minutes to get HORRIBLEFOOD. THISLOCATIONHASBECOMEHORRIBLE!!! They are either out of stuff all the time.:. Or they give us the wrong order…: or they give us CRAPPYFOOD!!!

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The chicken is so tender, never over or undercooked and it’s not too crispy or soggy. The employees always have a smile on their face, and don’t seem bothered to take your order. They are always courteous and they read my order back to me every time.(It’s a pet peeve of mine when people don’t.) I love the sauce and the bread, too. The only thing I have a problem with is that their fries seem to be frozen out of a bag,(but I still like them), and that they charge for refills on lemonade. Would totally recommend this place. Great food and service. :)

I visited the chain and this new one in Rockwall. NOT worth the time or effort. Customer service is horrible, food is mediocre at best and overpriced.

I’m not from Texas but thank my lucky stars that we moved only 2 miles away from this place! We eat here once a week easily. Why can’t they have this kind of place in Jersey?! Three piece chicken meal with a sweet tea is a perfect treat, & don’t forget the sauce!

Fist & last time I will waste money on this place. The chicken isn’t bad but the nasty sauce they serve should be outlawed. The fries suck & its way over priced. Stay with KFC or Churches!

I just came from there and ordered the box combo with no fries extra coleslaw. My receipt even says nf xsl, anyway they gave me no coleslaw and extra fries. Seriously how do you mess that up?

If you like chicken strip you’ll love theirs, the dipping sauce however is to die for. Chicken strips, Texas Toast and Dippin Sauce simple but really tasty

They only do one dish, but they do it well. My only complaint is that even though you can buy large quantities of chicken(say for a family meal or party), you CAN’T buy large quantities of sides to go with. You have to buy a bunch of little single serving sides at outrageous prices.

I ate at the original Raising Cane’s in Baton Rouge a week after they first opened. Although it’s not Exactly the same at every place I’ve been it’s fairly consistent and you still wonder what’s in the sauce. The fries, TX toast and chicken fingers are usually consistent and over time I’ve learned that I don’t care for their coleslaw. I usually just exchange that for another sauce and go my way. The décor, cleanliness, consistency and coke availability gives me a two thumbs up. What is it with fast food chains that don’t offer coke? Would you actually drink a pepsi. Gags.

We love this place. Sweet tea the best. Ask for honey mustard with your chicken fingers.

Love canes and their service but mot today. The bearded guy in drive thru was more concerned with having a gossip conversation with the other employee that he was short and rude

I keep going back as they have the best chicken fingers and continue to have good service. A shame fried chicken is not perfectly heart healthy.

Stopped here on the way back to Austin because I absolutely love their chicken strips but this location was not as good as cedar park’s. As soon as I went to put a strip in my mouth I noticed a weird smell and as I bit into the tender it tasted like burnt chicken. My boyfriend also agreed. We believe maybe the cooks burned the oil they were frying the tenders in. That was the first time I didn’t finish my meal because the smell and taste were just terrible. Also a very busy location on Sundays.

Have you ever complained about something and felt like a JERK afterwards? Well that’s what I felt like today. I come to this Raising Cane’s location all the time and love their food but today I had an issue with the wait time in the drive thru. This place opens at 10:00 a.m. and it was 10:40 when I pulled into the drive thru so you’d think they’d be rocking’ & rollin’ getting out the food orders. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. First off, when I pulled into the parking lot, there was a group of about 20 high school kids standing out front which lead me to wonder if they were waiting for the doors to open at 11:00 or if they were going to have some kind of fund raising car wash or something. My fears were allayed as soon as I rounded the corner in the drive thru and noticed there were three cars ahead of me who had already placed their orders so I knew they were open for business. I pulled up to the machine, placed my order with the cheerful voice on the other end and then commenced to wait… and wait… and wait After 10 minutes I consulted the internet to find out what time they opened. Then I called the store and was told by the young man who answered the phone that they make every order fresh once the order is placed and he apologized for the wait. I informed him that there were 3 cars ahead of me and that no one had moved the entire 10 minutes that I had been waiting in the same spot and that I go there often enough to know that it never takes that long to get my freshly prepared food(granted, I’ve never been at a complete stand still in my car where no one is budging). I asked, «Is the manager aware that cars are backed up in the drive-thru?» He said yes, and next thing I know, the manager was placed on the phone. So I reiterated my irritations and he couldn’t have been any nicer and more apologetic. Since I’m an regular customer, I’m well aware of what is within the acceptable times of waiting when going thru the drive thru but today was not the norm. Long story short — when I pulled up to the drive through window, he came over and apologized once again and he was so sweet! He mentioned they had a crowd of 20 kids come in all at once and they were backed up and their food delivery truck didn’t arrive until 9:00 a.m. that morning and he said that was still no excuse for the wait. By now I was the one doing the apologizing and told him that I hoped the rest of his day would go much smoother! LOL! As I pulled out of the parking lot, I caught site of two church vans from Pittsburg, TX(wherever that is), that delivered all those kids. At least Raising Cane’s will have lots of business today! Thank you young manager guy for being so kind and for turning this into a learning experience in patience for me. And by the way, the #3 combo box that I ordered was AW-SUMMMM — as usual!

Very good food but the quality of service has slowly dropped off since it opened… fast it is not, be prepared to wait.

What a disappointment! The food is way overpriced(3 pieces, small drink, french fries and a small but thick«Texas Toast» type piece of bread that is just thick sliced, grilled on one size and tastes very remotely like garlic costs $ 6.91 which is outrageous. Especially since the meal is very heavy on fats and CHO and low on the chicken protein content for the 3 fingers I ordered. My 3 fingers were tough, so greasy they stained the paper in the dish/basket type serving plate, and parts of the breading on the chicken were hard and difficult to chew. Made me think they had been pre-cooked and just sort of warmed up by a 2nd dip in the hot oil. The french fries were very good so they didn’t have that recooked taste or toughness. The drink station has Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero(3 coke products), Hi-C fruit punch, Fanta Orange, Barq’s Root Beer and Sprite which is a little too Coca Cola heavy for my tastes. I prefer Diet Dr. Pepper or Barq’s diet root beer neither of which is available here. So rather than having diet coke or Zero Coke, if one were changed to Diet Dr Pepper there would be a better balance of choice. But not here. If you’re counting your carbs/fats, this is NOT the place for you. Raising Cane provides no nutritional info on their site. But fatsecret. com does. Each finger is fat 7 grams, CHO(sugars) 9 grams, protein 13 grams. Three would be 453 calories. Cane’s sauce is about 85 calories 7.5g fat, 7 g CHO(sugar) 0.35 g protein The bread is 112 calories and 4.5 g fat, 17CHO grams and 0.7 g Protein The Crinkle French Fries are 15 g fat, 50 g CHO(starch) and 2 g Protein for a total of 343 calories. The entire 3 piece combo is 993 calories which is almost half a daily recommended eating plan of 2000 calories. No wonder they don’t have a nutritional content page on their web site. I’d be embarrassed to give out these numbers as well. Steffanie B stole my word right out of my mouth. This place is Totally Under Whelming!

Well. I held out the ever so slightest glimmer of hope that this would be good. It’s not. With their cane sauce as the exception(being pretty tasty). Everything else, food wise was meh. Very friendly staff, enthusiastic, upbeat and all about the product. The problem? The product. So ok ok, the lemonade was tasty. Problem here is it’s an up charge and they don’t really display it that way. It just says«drink». Doesn’t say drink except lemonade. Regardless, I pay the 27c difference(after already cashing out). Get home open ‘er up and the fries are limp. Well at least half of them. Should’ve ordered them crispy, but whatever. They are frozen crinkle fries and below average. The Texas Toast, wasn’t. It was a soggy half cooked piece of bread. Uncool. Surely the tenders will be good? Meh. They were ok. Bit on the dry side and the breaking itself was pretty flavorless and a torch too greasy. The only saving grace was the sauce. Pretty tasty. Won’t be back I don’t think. Not that that is a bad thing. I get enough fried food near work. IMO you can try it but it’s a pass in my book. Here’s to seeing if they manage to screw up the LJS we are getting. Ugh. Can we get something original!!!

It was just okay. My first time was at the Rowlett location. I had the sandwich. It was all so wonderful. So this is the newest and latest to open near me. It was very underwhelming. Maybe I didn’t get a good batch. The fries are krinkle cut I believe. Best thing was the Texas Toast. The boss sauce was not even as good as I remember. Maybe with time I’ll go back. Service was okay and they seemed to get everyone served up fairly quickly despite the large crowd. I don’t eat a lot of fried food but when I do I want it to be bomb… I felt cheated!
