Very good! We sampled noodles and 3 kinds of curry sauces before we ordered. Really enjoyed it!!!

Wonderful Thai restaurant. The best part was that they had sweet rice and mango dessert. Probably the best I have ever had. I haven’t been able to find that since I moved to Texas.

Pretty good but very very salty. I usually add salt to all my plates when I eat out and I even thought it was overly salty. We left with shriveled lips from the salt.

Continues to be the best Thai food in DFW. I have never had a bad dish here in all of the years we have been going. Ownership takes pride in every hand crafted dish they serve. This is a special establishment. You must go!

I would go here every week if I could! Excellent food, very friendly service and clean bathrooms. I love the Thai noodle soup and I recommend the purple sticky rice with custard for dessert; it is absolutely delicious. It’s a bit pricier than your average restaurant but it’s well worth it. The food is fresh and authentic.

I ordered the Tom Yum noodles soup as recommended and was pleased. There’s more depth of flavor than others I’ve had in DFW. Skip the papaya salad, it contains cabbage and flavor was weak.

Ate here last Saturday night. Really tasty food. Did not try the spicy stuff since I was going dancing but looking forward to doing so. Wait staff was nice and friendly. Small eating area but nicely decorated and clean. The ice cream dessert was really good. We tried 4 flavors and they were all great. The noodles were great and to me that makes a huge difference. We will be making this a regular place when we are over in Rockwall!

This is One of best Thai food restaurant Green curry was really good. I can’t explain how good was but it was just right and I was looking for this flavor for long time. I liked Kra paw, Pad Thai & coconut sauce for summer roll. I’ll definitely go back soon!

My first time here after driving by for 6 – 7 years. My family doesn’t like Thai or spicy and they are out of town. Great place, very friendly place and I could tell they have a great regular crowd. They get busy but worth the wait. This a true hidden Rockwall treasure. The yellow and Amazing curry was really amazing. The crab Rangoon very good very different with a little curry and crab meat. And the ice cream is for sure worth coming for. Love this place

Outstanding and authentic Thai in the middle of Rockwall, Texas — go figure! We stopped for lunch, my wife had Pad Thai and it was well seasoned, noodles cooked perfectly and moist chicken. Well done! I had the Amazing — peanut curry sauce with coconut over a bed of steamed spinach w/broccoli. Not truly traditional but very, very good. Interesting mix of peanut and curry. Vegetables were steamed to perfection-crisp and fresh. Menu is full of tasty choices and the service was gracious and attentive. Each guest is well greeted and seated. We’ll be back!

First time visit, I ordered the Tofu Tom Kha soup. It was so very delicious, a little over board on the Thai basil. For the entrée, I had the Vegetable Green Curry. I ordered it level 5 this hot and the waiter talked me out of it since it was my first time there. I wish I had gotten the spiciest level. I was a little disappointed, the green curry wasn’t like I’m used to. Good but didn’t have any coconut milk that i could taste. I probably wouldn’t order that dish again from here.

First time I ordered level 2 spice on pad see ew it came out like a 4 or 5. So hot I only ate a few bites. So I thought it was a fluke and came back after a few weeks. Ordered a level 2 spice pad see ew again. Still ridiculously hot. It is like a 5. If you are wanting spice. It all or nothing. Prepare to burn. Very tasty food when not burning me alive. Summer rolls are excellent. Taro ice cream with crushed peanuts tastes good. I recommend it. It is like the dish that pats you on the back after you’ve burned your tongue off on spiciness. Minus one star for inability to select a sissy spice level for people like me. Other than that, they did nothing wrong. The thai tea was good too. So hot… your gums will feel the burn. As I was ordering extra desserr a revelation came. I see through your plan Koung Thai. Make it so spicy that I have to buy dessert to soothe the crying baby within me.

I’m in a rut, but it’s one I don’t want to get out of. It’s my own Koung Thai Pad Thai rut. It is so good! The best I’ve had was Tityana’s in Austin, but Koung Thai’s is right there. For sure the best on the east side of DFW. There’s usually no wait for lunch and the service is 4 star. Try the Taro ice cream. Tastes as good as it looks.

Very good. Ordered the Amazon with chicken and it was very tasty. Brown rice is a little pricey for $ 2. Waitress very nice. Would definitely come back.

Aight I’ve never had Thai food so for anyone that’s in that same boat, or wants to read an incredibly ignorant review of Thai cuisine in Rockwall, read on! So I enter and it’s nice and clean so that’s good. They seat me right in front of my man Buddha and his five kids so I immediately feel like I’m in Thailand. A server greets me and he’s not exactly the friendliest guy but man he was on the ball so I’d say it was great service and hey, I’m eating lunch it’s not like I’m trying to be bffs with the guy #amiright So I look at the lunch menu and it’s all very foreign to me because I’ve literally never heard of any of this stuff. Luckily, I watched top chef once back in 2009 and I heard someone mention«pad Thai» and so I figured it had to be good. Hopefully they weren’t making fun of anyone for cooking pad Thai, but I figured I’d take the risk. So before my entrée comes they quickly bring me a bowl of(egg drop?) soup. It’s good and I swore it was chicken noodle but there was definitely a big piece of crab in it, which honestly didn’t bother me because it was delicious. Was it fresh? Idk, I’m not at red lobster so I won’t complain. Anyway, killed the soup in about two seconds to show them I meant business. Bam! Pad Thai comes in about seven minutes. It comes with a bunch of crushed peanuts on the side which seemed different, so hats off to the Thai people for keeping me on my toes. There was also a side of lime but I didn’t order tequila so that was weird. The stuff was on point. Really good noodles and chicken. Kinda sticky, but good flavor and kinda orange in color. Not really spicy at all, and while I’m normally a fan of a good kick in the pants, I figured, since I was about to go back to the office, maybe I should leave the ominous looking red chili jar on the table alone for now… I kept sprinkling the peanuts on top and loved it so, again, hats off to y’all. All in all it was really good but not sure where it falls on my list of «places I lunch»(and yes, I make«lunch» a verb, just like«brunch»). I’d say go, and try that cool looking green or red curry. I’d try it, but, maybe I’ll take y’all’s word on it for now.

I was there over the weekend while visiting family and felt like eating Thai. We ordered their Pad see ew, a red curry, and their Laab with beef. In terms of authenticity, I’d say this place falls short to what I typically get from Houston at my favorite Thai place — Thai Gourmet. I can be quite a harsh critique. I think that for Rockwall this place definitely deserve a 4 star. But if you live in an ecliptic area like Houston, you live to some higher standard. I did enjoy their meal and it was good. But you can really get a lot more authentic and flavorful at other locations. I’ll have to try some Thai places in Dallas to compare it. so again my take, if you need Thai real bad, and/or live in Rockwall — go there. if you need more authentic, you probably want to head to town. Even better come to Houston and try Thai Gourmet.

I came here in hopes of having delicious Thai food. It received great reviews so I had high expectations. I have eaten Thai food every where and cooked all sorts of ways and this was probably my least favorite. To be honest, they just didn’t cook things to suit my preferences; things were OKAY. Good, fresh ingredients. However, it was lacking flavor. I had the green curry with chicken and I found it to be quite bland and VERY spicy. Maybe it’s a regional thing… but I am used to creamy green curry sauces. This was not it. I had also ordered the appetizer sampler… they served like 4 different types of egg roll that all tasted the same, some dumplings of different varieties; one note flavors. This place had lots of potential but I can’t say that I will be back to eat there.
