I was very lucky to have my OB/​GYN refer me to Dr MacKoul 10 years ago when it was first discovered I had fibroids that were threatening my fertility. I had a laproscopic procedure done by him 10 yrs ago in a hospital with excellent results. Anyone who has fibroids knows they will grow back, and mine did. 10 years later my symptoms this time were more severe and ignoring them was not an option. Also I really wanted to try and get pregnant as soon as possible. From my first consultation over the phone to my arrival at the center 3 weeks later for my procedure the team and Dr MacKoul treated me like family. I was well taken care of at the center that day and for my recovery after. But what really amazed me for this time around was the recovery time and the huge advances they have made in the procedure in 10 years. There are not enough words or ways I can thank Dr. MacKoul and the Innovations Surgical Center. I had been suffering for years. It just so happened that moving from IL to MD saved my life. Doctors back home dropped the ball, but Dr. MacKoul did not and he found the source of my problem. I went through about 4 surgeries for my very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis that were damaging other organs to my body, but I can honestly say now that I have not felt this great in years. God saved my life leading me to this doctor, and this doctor gave me back my life. I cannot thank God, Jesus, and Dr. MacKoul enough.

My wife had surgery and Dr. MacKoul was her surgeon. He explained every detail of what would happen and even drew her a picture so she had a real idea of what was going to take place. He did a fantastic job, and she was back to work ahead of schedule. Her recovery was pretty smooth and the nurses called her a few times to make sure everything was going as it should.

I have had a lot of traumatic experiences in the past with gynecologists, including an open fibroid surgery when I was much younger. But Dr. Paul MacKoul, really helped me feel confident in gynecologists, again.
