All I want to say is the staff is very polite and efficient and their Gyros are amazing! They do not skimp on their oh so tasty Gyro meat.

I like their big Greek salad, but they aren’t too great picking up the phone if you call ahead for a pick up.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Affordable price. What else can you ask for? We visit the Big Greek Café on a regular basis since it’s so convenient to us. If you’re a meat eater, you can’t go wrong with ordering the Gyro Platter. Huge portion and could be shared between 2 ppl. Side greek salad is always fresh and tasty. Try Dolomades, which is Stuffed Grape Leaves with Rice and Beef served with Tzatziki Sauce. HANDSDOWN the best ones I’ve ever had! For non-meat eater, try fried their fish Platter. Hummus is great as well. And any of their desserts :) Can’t wait to come back for my next meal here!

Tried Gyro Platter with Greek Fries. The portion is large and tastes awesome! Diced onions in the gyro can be strong if you are not fond of onions. Parking can be a problem during busy times. But these are minor compare to the food and the service! Wish I live closer so I can visit more often!

I catered from here for my mom’s birthday and it was the best decision I made. Their food is absolutely delicious and flavorful. The owner sat with me and went over the menu to make sure I was ordering enough food. The portions are a good size so I didn’t have to order a ton! I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to cater or grab food!

Affordable and amazing. I love this restaurant. Their salad dressing is the best salad dressing I’ve ever had. Lately I’ve been ordering the salmon salad which is so tasty! I have been to this place many times and everything I’ve tried there has been really delicious! It is a fast casual setting with a few tables but is also a good place to order carry out. The only negative thing about this place is their parking lot, it’s horrible.

Gyros and chicken souvlaki are the way to go here. The gyro wraps are spectacular here with crispy pita and chock full of freshly chopped tomatoes and onions. Ask for extra tzaziki sauce if you don’t mind getting a little messy for that extra flavor ;) As others have mentioned they are only five dollars on Wednesdays. All day. I love that they include a block of feta with every order. Their chicken is juicy and flavorful; I seriously love Greek chicken-it’s the best. I thought on the salad and you’ve got a healthy, fresh, delicious meal. Awesome customer service. Makes up for the lack of parking! Great for families, dates, friends, etc. very laid back vibe! Tips: parking is difficult in the small lot; in front of the Greek place or to the side. There is another shopping center across, but would only recommend parking there for takeout!

Boom! As a Greek guy, this place is legit. When I need that home cooked vibe this is where I go. Even the music is spot on.

This pregnant lady approves! I ordered to go and got the chicken souvlaki pita, the big Greek fries and the coconut cake. OMG, everything was out of this world. First of all, I could barely wait to get home because everything smelled so delicious! The chicken was wonderfully seasoned and the pita was so soft and warm. The big Greek fries are super tasty, the perfect fries really with a great crisp on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside, topped with Greek seasonings and feta cheese. So good! They generously gave me two extra containers of tzatziki sauce. I’ll be back soon!

Really enjoyed the food here. High quality, fresh ingredients that comes out piping hot. Ordered the gyro with fries and it was extremely good. Even the fries were super crispy, just how i love them. The meat did not have a strange smell to it that most gyro joints have. Overall a great experience.

Okay. I thought the food was on the salty side but otherwise good. Also, they put capers in their salad. Just a heads up if you aren’t a fan. Those tiny suckers are hard to pick out. They give huge portions so you are definitely getting a great deal for the money you spend. Another plus is the employees are friendly.

YUM! Best Greek salad(I don’t know what kind of feta they use, but it is out of this world! And their dressing is ridiculous!) Their gyro is one of the best I’ve had… and this is coming from someone who lived in Baltimore for over 9 years and had her fair share of gyros in Bmore’s historic Greek Town. Their falafel is super tasty and their Greek fries, OMIGOD(again, that out-of-this-world feta!) You know the place is great when you find yourself licking up the remnants of the tzaziki after finishing up your meal . Their savory dishes are also delicious, the moussaka and pastisio both taste like a Greek grandma made it in her kitchen and the Baklava is the BEST! The only downside to the Big Greek Café is the horrendous parking. We have found ourselves parking across the street several times, constantly looking through the windows to make sure we weren’t being towed. Peak weekend lunch and dinner times are the worst… so if possible, either differ your hunger to less busy times… or consider takeout(with a driver who can double park while you run in to get it.)

Honestly there isn’t better Greek Food in Maryland. They’ll like, happily chat you up about their recipes? They’ll supply extra tzatziki? They’re incredibly friendly, the food is INEXPLICABLY completely fresh and piping hot and delicious and has been for the YEARS that I’ve gone here(it’s like, time for stuff to start going downhill and yet it just hasn’t??) This place is a godsend, I live in New York now and I miss it every single day. Go here, get the fries, get the gyro salad, get the pork chop, honestly just get whatever and be sure to say hello to the fantastic owners because wow my god the food.

Great food especially when it’s only $ 5 on Wednesday. The parking is tough cause their lot is so small. Strategy: come about 1 hr before they close so there is tons of parking!!!

I’m sorry but $ 10 for a salad with 6 little pieces of grilled chicken, hummus tasteless to me. I’m missing something. Guess I need to try the gyro but I’m not. I was soooooo looking forward to this but it didn’t work for me. But service was nice and pleasant. Parking always the same its a totally small lot been like that forever. When it used to be the other gyro place parking was same so no surprises there. Dining room bigger it’s a nice lil quaint place I just wasn’t feeling the salad and huge portion it was not…

I’ve eaten here 3 times in the past two weeks. The service is always friendly and quick and the food is delicious. The gyro meat is in abundance in the gyros and on the gyro salad. I’m so glad that I finally stopped by this location. Try the Greek fries, you won’t regret it. & don’t forget some gum or a mint. Like many other reviews say, the parking sucks. But the food is worth it.

Okay, this place is the first to compare to my favorite Greek restaurant. That says a lot because I’m picky with Greek food. I got the Greek gyro platter, which came with a small salad and a side. I got the roasted potatoes. Hubby and MIL got fries. The meat inside of the gyro was orgasmic. It was crispy and all kinds of deliciousness. The tziki(sp?) was yummy too. I have had better and buttery pita. The gyro could have used more than one block of feta. The potatoes were good, nothing I can’t make at home. The prices were on point too, cheap for good food. Thank you Café for comparing to my favorite Samos restaurant in Baltimore. There aren’t many like you.

Let’s start with dessert. They have so many. The baklava and galactoboureko are so freaking good it will knock you onto the floor. At this location they have a phenomenal dessert selection. Next time you need a pastry for a party go check here before you check at the bakery. It’s worth it! Also their gyros will blow your mind. Try the Athenian style or the new pork gyros. Everybody’s doing it but not quite like at the Big Greek. Ephkaristo! Now go put some Windex on it.

I love this place. Really good food and a warm atmosphere. There is usually some guy sitting at a table near the counter that is very friendly and seems genuinely concerned about your happiness. I presume he is the owner. The food is wonderful. Try the«Greek Fries». They are to die for!
