By far one of my favorite businesses in RVC. If you are in need of uplifting, I highly suggest to go to A Time for Karma. Although small, I often find myself being in there for an hour each time. Purchasing healing stones, incense, sage will quickly turn a rough day into a very peaceful, positive day. The owner and her workers are so personable and knowledgable. My favorite part … «when the shelves dance we are open» :)

I love this place and the prices are affordable. I bought lots of beautiful crystals and incense. The owner was very nice and she didn’t get tired of my numerous questions. I have been here 3 times already and everyone I have came with loved this store as well. They have street parking. I will definitely keep coming back!

I absolutely love this place! Not only do they have the largest selection of crystals, gemstones and gemstone jewelry, but they are such kind and helpful people. Any time I go in there to buy a gift (which is like once a month) someone comes over to show me the meanings and appropriate stones I am looking for. I am so grateful this place exists! I definitely recommend it to everyone and anyone!

I needed a «local» place to find some sage for smudging and some incense and A Time For Karma has a wonderful selection. I didn’t spend too much time here — I was in a rush — but the location was easy to find and the ladies were helpful enough with my transaction.
I will definitely keep them in mind for any future needs.

Love love loved it, a great atmosphere and great service. These woman were so kind, made sure I had all the information on what I was purchasing and initiated friendly banter. Interestingly enough I found them because they had made such a great impression on another person. Prior to moving here I ran into somebody in Charlotte, North Carolina who used to live on Long Island and they recommended this store, and I am glad they did.

Not as friendly as the reviews state. The scent is welcoming, however, I asked the staff questions & it seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered or I was in the way. I felt really uncomfortable. I doubt I will come back. I just didn’t want to trek to the city, but I will next time I need gemstones & crystals.

So many types of incense to choose from! A wide variety of gemstones available and each stone has a fact sheet to go with it for reference. There’s pretty much a fact sheet for everything in the store which is great for discovering new things. There are also a few reference books available to purchase. The tarot card selection is pretty big for such a small shop.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming and it smells incredible in the store.
My only complaint is that there isn’t much variety as far as incense stick holders go (from what I saw anyway). There are hand-​painted holders (which look a bit cheesy, but that’s just my personal taste) and maybe one or two that were really nice, but it is a smaller store so it’s probably only because they don’t have much space for bigger ones.
Overall, totally worth the trip and I will definitely be back again, hopefully soon!

I was looking for a shop close by that sold incense and white sage but ended up with so much more. They have oils, crystals, books, jewelry, candles, and also hold workshops and readings all at a very affordable price. There are all sorts of items and sections that align with different spiritualities, and the wonderful vibrations and atmosphere inside this shop are well worth the visit.

Loved this place when I walked in, super cool and so much to look at. I enjoyed the stones they had for sale as well as the essential oils, but every piece of jewelry i bought broke! Such crapy products and they were over priced for things you can buy off amazon. Do not buy the jewelry, it ALL sucks! I had two bracelets, and a necklace break!

This is my favorite store, it has a lot of useful stuff here and spiritual as well. The smell of the atmosphere is so attractive and comforting it must be all the great incense in the store. Always makes your day better if you need a better day by just walking into the store.

I have been coming to A Time For Karma since I was a teenager. They have everything for all my Wiccan needs. I even pop in this lovely shop for gifts all the time for my non-​Wiccan family and friends. You can get anything to small inexpensive stones or sage to something from their huge, beautiful jewelry selection. They have wonderful workshops and a fantastic selection of books as well. A must stop shop.

Great place, affordable. I drove out their today with the family to look for some crystals to my amazement we had a field day found some great stuff. Drove from Brooklyn too Long Island after reading the Unilocal reviews. Will be back for some wiccan stuff as well. We’ll worth the trip, the lady was very helpful and knowledgeable with her crystals.

I am giving this new shop 5 stars because I had the most amazing time there yesterday. I could see that a tremendous amount of thought and care was put into every detail. I found it to be bright, warm, cheerful and fully stocked with goods for just about every type of spiritual practice eg. Angels, Tibetan, Crystals, Tarot, I Ching, Aromatherapy, Meditation, Native American, Magic, Incense, chimes, and jewelry among others! I especially appreciated the Jewish, Christian, and Catholic items which often are bypassed by other spiritual shops. I also noticed a generous assortment of fair trade items (good Karma!). I found the prices to be fair and reasonable. I even saw something for $ 4 that I absolutely loved… great gift :) I purchased 3 items which I have already started using~an amethyst crystal, a copper, clear quartz healing wand and several pieces of deep green clear volcanic glass. A+.
