When visiting the Rocklin area, this retail restaurant will be a go-to place. I don’t get too excited about eating at a retailer’s restaurant as I have often had 3 star experiences. Outside there are beautiful, large pottery such as lions, zebras, turtles, fountains, and a very large photogenic bear. Entering the store en route to the restaurant, there are plenty of gorgeous home items and holiday décor. I did not take photos of the store or restaurant interior but much of Pottery World is pleasing to the eye. Our party of 5 was seated promptly for brunch. We just missed the cutoff time for breakfast by 30 minutes so one of our party had to order from the lunch menu. Similar to most retail store restaurants, menu items are limited. I opted for the chicken salad sandwich which I give four stars. Perfectly toasted and very lightly buttered panini. Delicious chicken salad. Well portioned. My brunch companions had the French dip sandwich, Thai chicken salad, black bean burger, and Angus burger. All were much satisfied with the meals. Most chose the lobster bisque soup or the vegetable soups which were tasty to them. Cool pottery plates and bowls. A little pricey but, our family member had a coupon. You can also save a little with the Unilocal check in. Ambience is very nice. Love the lit candles and lovely chandeliers. Out the window is a nice view of decadent Pottery World outdoor goods for sale. Sorry I didn’t take more photos. Service was excellent. Attentive, efficient, and friendly staff. I would definitely return. Now I will check to see if they have any locations at home in SoCal. True score 4.5 but, rounded to a 5. An exceptional experience. Thanks for reading! –Lilah D.

This place is a hidden gem, not only do you have a wonderful place to sit down and eat listening to countless waterfalls, but after you can enjoy looking at all the home interior decorations this place has. I had an Ice Tea/lemonade forgot how they call it here but it was good. I also had their strawberry spinach salad and it was the best salad I have ever had! Also ordered the last crème brûlée. It was okay, but not the best I have ever tried. I really can’t wait to come back to this place, especially during winter to see all the christmas decorations.

This was actually a ridiculously good breakfast-surprisingly– most store cafes(with few exceptions) aren’t that awesome. This is now one of my favorite breakfasts in the Rocklin area. Everyone in my group loved what they had– the scone that came with my Mom’s meal was one of the best that I’ve ever had! My eggs benedict was perfect– I don’t think anyone left less than satisfied!

Its a little pricey for lunch, but I can’t stop coming here! Love their pastrami sandwich, and their spinach salad with chicken, I need to try some of their other sandwiches, and will. Recently they remodeled and now have Loomis Basin Vindicator on tap. I miss the 22 oz bottles that my wife and I would split with lunch, since they offered a variety of other Loomis Basin beers. Service can be a little slow, but this is the type of place you come to, to relax, and take in the environment, espcialy if you decide to eat outside.

I went here with my boyfriend for lunch and the food was so terrible we couldn’t even finish it. After we told our server everyone who worked there started giving us extremely rude looks. It was very unprofessional and terrible customer service. The scenery was beautiful however its not worth going to the terrible Restaurant

Really, really good! Sat outside on the covered patio under the big Oak tree. There’s misters and ceiling fans so it’s really comfortable, even on hot days. Had the Pastrami sandwich– delicious!

I had not been here for over 2 ½ years and they just completed a remodel of the café. The place looked great and the servers and staff were very friendly. Pricing is fairly consistent with other places nearby for lunch. I had the spinach and artichoke quiche with a side of their dill potato salad. The food was pretty good but came out on an ice-cold dish which is great for the salad but the quiche was cooling down very quickly. The iced tea was plentiful but bitter and cloudy… they need to work on iced tea methods. Not bad and I’d probably go back if friends scheduled something there.

Beautifully decorated showplace for fountains, furniture, and sculptures, presents for an upscale-feeling stroll before breakfast. The café itself is on the small side, and not well-attended(we went on a Saturday morning). The menu offers intriguing options, again on the expensive side for breakfast. We had the quiche, and eggs benedict. Both were tasty, served with fruit, fried potatoes and bell peppers/onions. If it wasn’t for the pre/post stroll scenery, I’d say the food wasn’t special enough to make a special trip. However, if you’re nearby, it’s a relaxing, decent adventure with your spouse.

My biggest complaint about the Pottery World Café is that it’s only open till 3:30 pm because I would love to come here later in the day and for dinner as well. I absolutely love the salmon sandwich here and the setting is very relaxed and enjoyable. Plus I love perusing the huge selection of home décor items available at the pottery world store.

I recently participated in a High Tea with three of my friends. We went with great expectations because we all enjoy pampering ourselves with the delightful experience of an old fashioned High Tea. The pottery World has a Delightful gift shop, warm, cozy and delightfully decorated. We thought it was a great venue for a tea. We have all eaten here and felt the food was adequate for a fun lunch. With the thirty dollar price tag we were expecting to be treated royally and that the food would be bumped up a notch. We were all very disappointed from the moment we walked in. We had called in two days early to change the reservation from three to four, not a big deal since it simply means adding another place setting. We were made to feel uncomfortable about the change. The server seemed unsure at every turn. She tried hard but was clearly not well trained. Our first pots of tea come Luke warm probably because it took forever to reach us. Not a good start! Next the food, our first apple caramel scone was very nice once we had the Hot Tea to enjoy it with. This was the last of the good food. Generally after the sweet scone you expect the savory courses, which left us wishing for something that wasn’t sweet, three and a half of the five dished were were very sweet, and a total disappointment to everyone at our table. Then came the not so mini cupcakes which were dry. Getting warm tea was a constant challenge. Servers seemed nice but untrained. All in all I generously gave two stars for the ambiance and the possibility and potential this place could have. Get new management and learn about what high tea is really about and you might make it work. As for us I doubt we will be back There is a desire for a place with High Tea in our area, try to figure out how it is done.

Recommend the quiche, the omelettes, and of course, the scone. It is much softer and breaks apart more easily than your traditional scone, but still yummy. I liked that they offered harvarti cheese with their omelettes, you don’t see that often. They were able to make my omelette with egg whites at no charge. They had a great selection of cakes and pastries in the window, didn’t try any though. On the downside, they didn’t wash the grapes that they served us. I don’t think this café is made to be a huge restaurant to attract everyone in the area, seems more geared toward customers who happen to get hungry while shopping and see a bakery. The grill is extremely small so the wait time could be long if this spot were to get crowded. Other than that, the food was really good and the ladies working were really nice and kept refilling my coffee.

The place very nice and they have a very good scone that come with cream and marmalade but the scone itself is really good. The server are very attentive, the only thing I didn’t like my bfast came w fruits but the grapes were not wash. You can see the dirt in it which makes me loss of my appetites.

I have been shopping at Pottery World for the past 6 years. The owners and all of the staff are very helpful and professional. There sales are great. The café has excellent food. Recently I purchased some large mirrors. I accidentally cracked on of the mirrors. I called the store and talked to the Manager and he replace the mirror without any problem. This is a 5 star company which sells quality products and treats their customers extremely well. Gabriel and Laurie Antunes Meadow Vista Ca

I dropped my Porsche off for maintenance and needed to eat and walked to this place. Beautiful atmosphere of pottery and Christmas décor before you even get to the café. I had the egg breakfast with red potatoes and peppers, applewood bacon and when I asked for a side of jam, I thought it was cool that she didn’t ask me what flavor but just brought me their excellent house jam. I marked them down to a four only because they forgot to take my order after they served me water. Anyway, once i informed them that I was ready to eat it was all good.

From the employees To the owners I received a VIP treatment. No pressure, free to walk around, many different selections to choose. Prices were bit high but all imported. Ate the lunch in CAFE, so deliciously prepared, the services were excellent. I would like to go there again during my next visit to Sacramento areas.

I would like to start this review of by saying that the food at the café is fantastic, which is the only reason why I gave them more than 1 star. A group of us stopped by there on a Monday around noon for lunch. We were told that the wait time was around 30 minutes and we ended up waiting a good hour to be seated and another solid hour for our food to be served. It seemed pretty obvious that they were understaffed because they had plenty of tables open but they only seated select tables. They forgot to bring all of us cutlery but by the time we got our food we didn’t want to have to wait any longer, so we made do. I hope this was only a fluke experience.

Breakfast Breakfast Breakfast — I’m a big breakfast person. This is actually one of the better breakfasts, if not the best, in the Rocklin, Loomis area. Possibly Roseville too. It’s a little fancy and unconventional(being inside a home décor store and all) but the they take pride in serving you and the food is high quality. Nice presentation too! The American Breakfast(eggs, toast, bacon w/potatoes they cook outside on the grill with rosemaryand serve w/fresh fruit is great — the bacon is thick and perfect) or the French Toast w/bacon is what we usually get. Lunch is OK too, but I like this place for breakfast on weekends from 9am to NOON only.

What an unexpected gem! The food gets 4 stars, but the store bumps it up to a 5. Not only is Pottery World a beautiful and fascinating store to browse but the little café inside is adorable and delicious. Me and my friend walked around in awe at all the cool foundations, home décor, furniture then ate. It was like lunch and a show. The food was affordable and extremely yummy. We were both very full and happy. The décor of the café is so cute and has patio style chairs and tables like the rest of the store. Would totally come back just for the food!

Came here for Father’s Day Breakfast and what a beautiful location this is. Sitting outside in the trellis enclosed dining area transports you to winery in Napa or Sonoma. The breakfast menu is limited at about 6 – 8 items but they are done well and are tasty. The peach iced tea was strangely beautiful to look at shimmering in the sunlight and equally tasty. We sampled the following items: Sourdough French Toast: a large serving of not overly sweet French toast with fruit garnish pretty tasty and around $ 9 Belgian Waffle: standard waffle served with fresh fruit and whipped cream pretty standard fair, no complaints but not special around $ 9 3 item omelette: with avocado, country sausage and provolone cheese. You build your own omelettes here and although tasty it lacked seasoning, some salsa would have been perfection. The country potatoes were a little dry, however the chocolate chip and walnut scone I piced as my bread was CRAZY delicious. $ 12 I personally would come here for the peach iced tea and the chocolate/walnut/caramel drizzled scone alone :) We also tried the famous tiramisu and red velvet cake, both were good the tiramisu is not sweet at all though and the red velvet was a tiny bit dry. Unilocalers receive a $ 2 off coupon for checking in.

I went to bed the other night craving french toast and woke up the next morning on a mission to find some. I used my handy Unilocal app to search for breakfast places nearby and was surprised to find that there is an adorable little café at Pottery World AND they serve french toast! Pottery World is so much more than pottery; there is a home décor section, a clothing boutique, and occasional wine tasting. Even if you dont go for the food, the property is gorgeous. The patio of the café, where we decided to sit, is surrounded by flowing fountains and other beautiful garden décor. It was the perfect place to relax and people watch. The menu is what originally brought me there. As soon as I looked at their website and saw ham and cheese croissants, quiche and(of course) sourdough french toast dipped in cinnamon egg batter, I was already in love. My french toast was not only beautifully presented but it was also just as yummy as it looked. My only(small) gripe is that the service is a bit slow but I didn’t mind spending some extra time enjoying my surroundings. Definitely a spot that I will be revisiting.
