This place has been consistently horrible. Between the soggy sandwiches that looked like they were literally thrown together and the cold soup, I’ve decided to not come back. Drive further if you want decent Panera to eat.

Ended up walking out with nothing because there was nothing left to order. There were no bagels left to choose from.

The worst Panera in the area. Overpriced for what you get. Turkey sandwich very little turkey and tuna sandwich very little tuna. Order delivered was wrong first time, so we sent it back. Bad attitude from manager & staff in the kitchen. Too bad. My money is on Brookfields from now on.

An okay Panara Bread. This PB is identical to others so you get all the good food and pastries you like. The service is quick and friendly. Maybe a little too friendly amongst one another as when I went to get my food they were too busy talking casually with another customer to realize someone had come to get their food. This is probably going to be just a one time thing but it’s just rather rude and makes the customer feel awkward. The food is great as always but this time my macaroni was served in a paper to go bowl instead of the usual dish ware bowl. An odd change up but maybe they’ve changed up how food is served. If you need a good location with casual seating to do your school work or chat with friends or family this restaurant is perfect for that as well as every other PB location in the area.

I’m so excited this location is open! As I crest the hill to see Rocklin in the distance I am met with an exit off the freeway that contains food, gas and shopping. Excellent. Panera less than 2 hours away? That’s exactly what my hungry tummy desired. This location is a lot smaller and seems more closed off than others. The layout is a tad odd as you enter straight to the counter which is separated from the rest of the restaurant. Ordering was easy and the options are visible on the menu. The tasty pastries and baked goods are on clear display tempting you as you order your meal. The food was delivered quickly and warm. The portion size is plenty — this time we shared because neither of us was extremely hungry. When reasonably hungry it’s bets not to share because the portion size is just right for a decent hunger. The restroom was in good working order and clean. This is always nice when using Panera as a pit stop along the road. The parking lot is reasonably sized and easy to get in and out from the freeway. I will definitely add this to my list of pit stops along 80.

Dear MGR, Maybe U need to send your employees back to school. They obviously cannot distinguish between 1⁄3 and ½ size! My «$ 5.00» turkey BLT was so small! Ordered the same exact one yesterday and it was a lot bigger! I was super super disappointed!!! I was not going to turn around, come back and complain, I was on my way to work! Those who know me, knows my hands are small! I mean, I am 4’11 only(lol). Seriously, 5 stars for the taste and the drive-thru and 0 stars for the size of my $ 5 sandwich today!

So my first time coming here i thought would be amazing right because of all the commercials they put on tv saying how amazing they are… conceded much. First time went through the drive thru to get a salad, the full was 8 dollars i thought that was crazy for a salad so i decided to get the half size because it was 5.99 but when i got it it was a little cardboard box no bigger yhan 2 flash card put together and i was wondering to myself is this really worth 5.99 for some chicken and lettuce, so i wont be coming back here. Service was pretty nice but they could be a little faster for 2 little salads.

I come here 2 to 3 times per week, normally good service, clean and food is good The salad I got was served in a Hot bowl. Not warm, HOT. I took a couple bites and decided to return it. The manager said«yeah, it was just washed» and shrugged. I was expecting a «let me get you another one». I won’t be back for awhile.

I like the Panera chain quite a bit, and this location is no exception. Not only have they been consistent with my orders dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru, they have been pretty accommodating of my dietary needs. The price is decent, the food is good, and they are open late. It beat out Denny’s as my late-night homework spot, and I love to stop here for breakfast/lunch before a day trip. Tonight, they were out of the bread my veggie sandwich came on. Someone substituted a bread with cheese on it – but I’m dairy intolerant. They replaced my sandwich, no charge, right away with no fuss.

The food was good. I’d say the bread was a little flimsy and the meat a little cold(turkey BLT), but it all tasted great. The soup was good(tomato) and the croutons were awesome. I’d say the service wasn’t at its best. I had never been there before and it’s not easy to figure out where you’re supposed to go for your food and drinks, and when I asked the staff acted frustrated by my question. As far as the food, I’d say if you love this type of food, you’ll get a better version and nicer staff at Boudin’s in the Fountains @ Roseville.(No I don’t work there and have no incentive to drive business there, I genuinely believe, as a customer, Boudin’s is the better of the two) I almost went to Boudin’s but came to Panera b/c it was closer and I hadn’t tried that location. Next time I’ll likely drive further for better food at Boudin’s.(Again, not saying Panera is bad at all, I just don’t think it was as good)

Located off the freeway at Sierra College. In front of the Target store. Items on the menu are the same as those found in the other stores. Pastries, sandwiches, soups, and coffee. Came in for coffee. The coffee was hot and met expectations. Staff was friendly and did take some time to get through the order in front of me. Can’t fault them for it. Good: coffee Bad: still early for me to judge. I’d come back.

Very disappointed in this location. I have only been to Panera twice before this and the other times have been great. This time… the woman taking my order didn’t listen to my questions. Also, when I got to the window, my total was wrong and then when my food was ready they asked if I was the one to order the food. When I got my food, I checked it right away and it was still frozen in the middle, half the amount of food I normally get and about 2 slices of canned meat. Very unhappy :(next time I want Panera, I will think twice and just get a watery tv dinner…

We come to this location often and it gets worse and worse every time. On this particular visit I ordered a Turkey sausage, egg white and spinach sandwich. It’s a regular menu item. No substitutions at all. Long story short, it took 3 attempts to make a sandwich that is straight from the menu board. Their coffee is always terrible or plain non existent. It shouldn’t be tough to get a coffee at 9:30am on a Sunday. This is a constant problem. They’re out of tons of items, always. No straws. No forks. No coffee. Out of bagels. Out of Turkey sausage. The list goes on… The reason we come is the convenient location and that’s not good enough of a reason anymore.

I stopped here on our way to the Bay Area. Had a quick nite. I had the turkey avocado BLT. It was very good. Service was good and fast. I like their bread and soups too.

Once again… Another Sacramento panera… Another panera disappointment. I remember in the Bay Area I loved going to panera. Despite the coffee being subpar, the bagel selection was excellent and they didn’t taste heavy like that are at Noah’s. Then I moved to the Sacramento area. Every time I go to a Panera after 7:30AM, they are out of all bagels except plain and sesame. These places need to do a better job at forecasting needs. If it is happening everytime, there is simply no excuse. So… Today I got my plain bagel with reduced fat cream cheese. Guess what, when I picked up my cream cheese, I noticed it was regular. So I asked for reduced fat and was told«ohhh… We are out. «why did your cashier say you guys had it? Ok. Mistakes happen. So you just thought putting regular down was cool. How about«sorry… We are out of reduced fat– is there another flavor you would prefer». So I took my crappy cream cheese and put it on my crappy plain bagel. Management: please fix your bagel supply!

I usually go to the Douglas Blvd Panera. We came here because they did not have the four cheese soufflé, my favorite! This Panera is much more lively than the Douglas one. Since this opened, the Douglas Panera has lost quite a few of their regulars to this place. This Panera has a fireplace which is so nice on cold winter days. Today is a beautiful sunny day and it is nice to sit by the window or outside in the outdoor dining area. I only gave them 4 stars because my soufflé was a little over cooked. The crust was pretty tough. I have never had a soufflé with crust like this. I still enjoyed my favorite soufflé even though it wasn’t made to perfection.

I have never had a problem at this place. The food is always good and the customer service is excellent. I always get the half sandwich and soup combo. Never had a soup I didn’t like. Also the Chipotle chicken and smoked turkey pains are really good.

Stopped by today on my way home and got a ½ sandwich and soup to go. I am staying about 20 minutes away so it wasn’t until I got to my destination and opened my bag that I realized my sandwich was 90% bread and«maybe» a tablespoon of chicken salad on it. Seriously? Please. It tasted fine, the soup was fine, but nothing to get excited about and I’m seriously irritated over the stingy little tiny bit of chicken salad on a huge slab of bread. The staff was really nice but I really REALLY hate being called miss and she did it like 4 or 5 times. I know, nit picky but to me, it’s just wierd.

Love the selection of healthy options! Generally four or five soup selections(chicken and wild rice, creamy tomato, broccoli cheese, chicken noodle… just to name a few). Sandwiches range from flatbread to paninis. My favorite is the turkey cranberry flatbread! They also have a few pasta options. I recommend the Take Two option, allowing you to pick two menu selections. They also have a beautiful case of baked goods. From cookies to muffins to pastries. I have yet to try any, but they look delicious. We generally go late in the evenings and they’ve been known to be out of a few items, but they are good about letting you know when you place your order. Atmosphere is generally quiet in the dining area. Seems to be a popular place for evening college study groups.
