Not impressed with this place! Way to expensive for the not so good food. It’s hard not to like a burger but this place doesn’t have good ones & the fries were terrible! I would be ok paying a little more money for the atmosphere but the vibe in there was unwelcoming. Not only was the music to loud, it was also cold as ice inside. I’m all for air conditioning especially in the summer but there was an arctic breeze in there. Definitely not coming back.

A bit pricey for what you get. Service was good but burger was subpar to other sit down restaurants.

This place is pretty good. Food was delicious. Happened to go right before the dinner crowd and watched a line form all the way outside the door. Come early!

I wish I could have given MOOYAH3 ½ stars. I really liked the food, but if done correctly, I would have loved the food. It was Saturday around 6:30& it was National Hamburger Day. A friend recommended MOOYAH, so we gave it a try. The 1st thought I had was it reminded me of 5 Guys. The restaurant was clean, well staffed, friendly, & the Warriors game was on! We ordered: Cheeseburger with cheddar & bacon on a white bun with ketchup & mustard, lettuce, tomato, & pickle Cheeseburger with American on a white bun with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, & tomato Medium fries Lemonade Chocolate Shake We waited about 7 – 10 minutes for our name to be called. The burgers were cooked perfectly & seasoned well. The only negative about the burger is that our buns were not warmed or toasted. They make the buns in house fresh daily, so I had high expectations. They were just meh. When I went & got a box for my leftovers, they were working on about 10 burgers & all of the buns were toasted, so I think that it was just an oversight. The fries were not hot. They were good, but they would have been a lot better if they were actually fresh. The shake was delicious! They used a good amount of whipped cream on the top & they even included a nice thick straw that allows you to actually enjoy the shake without having to wait for it to melt enough to go through a straw. I really believe that this place could easily get 5 stars. I will be coming back soon & trying it again.

Mooya! First time visiting. Yikes! A little dirty, man. Guys, stop trying to be cool and clean the outside tables, already. Inside looked acceptable, but the outside area was sketchy. Ordered the Mooya Cheeseburger. The bun is fresh, along with the produce and I feel like the burger has potential. It really does. I asked for the burger to be cooked well-done. The cashier replied, «We cook all our burgers well-done». Not sure if she was old enough to know why«well-done» means. If the hamburger patty was a bit thicker, and cooked a little more than medium-rare, then I think the burger would be great! Again, it’s got potential. Don’t bother with the fries, as they still need to learn how to cook freshly-sliced potatoes. They were a bit greasy and soggy. The chocolate shake had promising presentation. All in all, I am not sure that I would go back. The atmosphere is a bit pretentious and I was hoping for more. Good luck guys.

Delicious food. They mess up orders sometimes but it’s good enough to the point that I don’t really mind. Recommend this spot!

Been here once and itching to go back. The burger was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. Kept it pretty simple, double bacon cheeseburger with avocado! There’s nothing quite like building your own burger with awesome fresh ingredients. The fries were good. This place should do good as long as the quality stays up. Will be back!

Our first time here was pretty good– very comparable to Five Guys burger. I like the French fries made from fresh potatoes, their fresh made buns, all the topping options and the outdoor patio. Cons were the burger was really greasy and it kind of fell apart a little. Really good flavor though.

This one star is for the french fries. They made my burger wrong left off the additional toppings I paid for so I returned it. While they where making my new one I watched 3 other people return theirs. When my burger came out the pattie looked like they mashed it with a hammer and was extremely greasy. Skip this place you’re better off at McD’s

I have been here twice now and both of my experiences have been great! I must agree with the other Unilocalers as to this place having the Five Guys kind of vibe but better. When ordering you pick your bun, pick the condiments and the sauces. My hubs is such a carnivore and has to always order a double patty(the more meat the better), I on the other hand am just fine with a normal amount of meat. I ordered my burger with the«MOOYAH sauce», pepper jack cheese, sautéed mushrooms, sliced avocados and onions… Delicious! The burgers in size are quite large, served with a generous amount of fries… actually more than enough fries for me so I just shared with my husband. The meat patties tasted fresh and were cooked to perfection! Moooo-Yahhhh!!! There’s a huge chalkboard wall to keep the kiddies entertained and T. V’s while waiting for your meal. Our wait time wasn’t too bad… less than 20 minutes. Oh and I have to add another star for the«Fuel Efficient Vehicle» parking spaces. Thanks MOOYAH for having those front row parking spaces available for those of us that drive fuel efficient vehicles.

I am so glad chipotle was packed!!! My first time here & it was truly the best! That’s saying a lot because I am not much a burger fan, but this place changed my mind. Mooyah burger w/Mooyah sauce is bomb dot com!!! They also had vitamin water acai pomegranate(my fav) available which is awesome because not a lot or no places have that. My husband & I enjoyed our dinner so much, we were thinking about ordering another one to go for later but the place started piling up so it was okay. Just wish there was one closer to Antelope. I don’t come to Rocklin as often Go MOOYAH!!!

This is our first visit to Mooyah. We haven’t even gotten our food yet and I’m so completely underwhelmed. It’s not very busy but we had to wait quite awhile because the employee working the register appears to be half asleep. While trying to give him our order, we could hardly hear a word he was saying. We had to repeatedly ask him to repeat himself. He was loudly hiccuping and occasionally belching while helping us. That’s not exactly an impression I’d think a place wants to make to their customers. On a positive note, the manager reacted immediately after I talked to her. She took over the register and moved him to food prep.

This was our first time at MOOYAH Burgers and we went there because we had a $ 4 off coupon we got through our mail circular. We heard about it from someone in our family in Irvine and this location just opened up. This one is located in the developing Rocklin Commons shopping center off Interstate 80& Commons. The establishment is very clean and interesting enough had the feel of a Five Guys Burgers & Fries. The menu is great! You basically can order any burger with any combination of ingredients much like Five Guys. Personally I had a much better experience at MOOYAH than Five Guys. One big difference is the french fries. I honestly don’t like the taste of the fries at Five Guys. I believe it’s because of the type of oil they use. The fries at MOOYAH were great! I had the sweet potato fries which were delicious. They were cooked perfect and texture was very good. My wife had the cheeseburger with mushrooms, tomatoes, jalapeños and pickles. My daughter had a burger with blue cheese and ketchup. I had the Turkey burger, with cheese an mushrooms. Everyone was very happy with their food and I was pleasantly surprised at how good my Turkey burger was considering it was my first time having a Turkey burger. I’ve been trying to eat more healthy and I’m very happy they had a healthy alternative!

We have gone and sat in the restaurant and it was great. But this last experience was awful! We called to order and they said we had to do it online.. . So we ordered two burgers. We got them. .. 15 minutes past when they said they would be done, both burgers were a sloppy soggy mess and had the completely wrong ingredients on them. The fries were over cooked and tasteless and the manager was extremely when I asked how much longer it would be. So we won’t be going back.

First time here, I was excited to try the place out. I’ve heard from my Unilocal friends and my own daughter how great the burgers are here. She likes this place a lot, and that’s saying mounds for someone who doesn’t like burgers. So the hubs and I decided to stop in and get a burger, before a movie. It was a Sunday and the place was less than half full. It’s counter service and since it was our first time here, we picked up the laminated menus to decide what we want. First thing I noticed, the menus were gross and dirty. When was the last time they wiped them down? I passed on looking over the handy greasy menu and chose to look up on the menu board. You choose your burger, pick your bun, pick the condiments and the sauces. We ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and a hot dog. We waited almost a half hour, too long for a fast food hamburger joint. When the burger arrived, it was so underwhelming, hubs wished we had gone to Mc D’s instead! His double cheeseburger was on a white roll, with cheddar, lettuce, onions, and Mooyah sauce(Thousand Island). The formed, flattened, tasteless burger patties, fell apart with each bite dripping with grease. I think it’s a cardiologists worst nightmare! The napkin holders were neglected, had to go from one table to another getting napkins. Went looking for a filled ketchup bottle for the fries. The bun failed as well, the Mooyah sauce was underwhelming leaving hubs to add more ketchup and mustard. It was quite a juggling act between wiping and trying to hold every bite together. Overall, highly unlikely I’ll be back. Highly underwhelmed, don’t get the hype? Overpriced, underwhelming food. End of story.

I stopped by while Christmas shopping. I was impressed with the appearance of the place. Very clean and modern décor. Menu is simple and straight forward. I like the option to choose the type of bun, patty, sauce and toppings. They even have different fries to choose from. My food arrived at my table quickly. The bun was very fresh, however the burger itself lacked flavor. I would have expected more mushrooms and grilled onions. And the patty was a bit small, lacking any stand out flavor. The fries were slightly overcooked, and a bit over salted. All in all, I think they are trying to present a great burger and atomosphere, but have missed the mark. They need to provide a slightly bigger patty and more toppings. Less salt and a little less cooking time on the fries please. I’ll give them one more try before I just give up on them…

This review is for the veggie burger because that is all that I’ve tried. I like the idea that you order and have a selection of items to get on the burger including mushrooms and grilled onion but they didn’t put much toppings on my burger and that is why its not a stand out. For $ 10 you can get burger, small fries and a fountain drink but I can get similar other places and nothing really stands our. The thing that I like the most is the crispy fries. I wish that they would allow you to get extra toppings or less if you like cause if I wanted mushrooms on my burger I want to see and taste them as I was eating it. Average not bad just nothing to set it apart.

Cool… a hot and new place to check out. But humm… is the concept or flavors really that different from what’s already out there… not really. Overall, the burgers were really nothing to brag about. If you’re hungry you better order two because they aren’t really that filling. The patty was super greasy! Dripping all over my tray and hands. Yuck. The patty didn’t even stay together and was grumbling apart and falling in the grease. The fries were tasty! Super salty but that’s the way I like them. My friend didn’t like her fries that way so she didn’t eat them. The bun was tasty. Lite, soft and buttery. There are a variety of sauces you can add to your burger. So depending on your mood you can select what you want. I liked the paintings on the wall of the cows That’s all I can really say about this place. Not sure if i’ll be back.

Chyeah, Mooyah! I want some of that multigrain wheat bun, swiss cheese, grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, mooyah and spicy ranch sauces paired with a mound of sweet potato fries. Fresh, mild, sweet, nut-like, soft, buttery, with a bit tang and kick ~ my goodness, every bite was a beautiful mess! It reminded me a bit of Five Guys Burgers, but this one’s got a bit of the edge. Mooyah’s got more choices and better sauces, while prices stay comparable to that of their competitors. I would definitely frequent this fast food joint if they were any closer. I guess this long distance relationship is a good thing and a bad thing. There’s no holding back here with their burgers and shakes. You know what you’re getting and you know you’re going to love it. I did!

Mooyah is only 3 ½ stars?! They had one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had, but it also probably helped that I was starving when I ate here. We have seen Mooyah everytime we drive over to Studio Movie Grill, and the logo alone looks intriguing, but we usually eat our meal at SMG during the movie. But on this visit, the movie was sold out so our Plan B was to eat dinner at Mooyah since we already drove an hour through traffic to get to Rocklin. And Plan B could’ve easily been a Plan A! It was delicious! Walking into Mooyah is already exciting… the food smells great and it’s a fun family place. The menu is pretty straightforward. You can choose from a burger, double burger, turkey burger, veggie burger, or hot dog, and then you get to choose your bun, cheese, veggies, and sauces. They also have fries or sweet potato fries. And the most exciting part: milkshakes! They have your standard flavors. chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter cup, mint chocolate chip, oreo, M&M, banana, strawberry banana, strawberry… but I had my eye on the cookie dough! It sounds better than it actually is, unfortunately. Because when you’re drinking it, you pretty much just get vanilla milkshake through your straw and then you’re left with half a cup of cookie dough stuck at the bottom :( The burger itself was delicious. I had mine with swiss cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, mooyah sauce(thousand island) and spicy ranch, and then we shared sweet potato fries(the medium says it serves 1 – 2 people but I think a small size would suffice for 2 people.). It’s too bad Mooyah is only in Rocklin, or else this would be my new burger spot!
