Wow… this place sucks. The servers were terrible
The bartender was awesome.. but hell, I couldn’t get service to save my life

This is the sports bar & grill attached to Strikes Bowling. If you order food while you’re rolling on the lanes this is where it comes from. It’s pretty standard pub grub, but they do a good job keeping things fresh.
During the day and midweek this is a standard grill, after 7 or 9 on the weekends it turns into a club type spot and they start enforcing 21+… I’ve been there on several occasions when they’re charging a cover, NYE, St. Pattie’s, etc…
Rocklin is lacking in sports bars, this place has a bunch of TV’s, hot wings and a decent tap selection, plus it’s a full bar. Great spot for NHL playoffs.

Had a bad experience at the bowling lanes and posted a review, Lynn B contacted us via email and got us on the right track. People like Lynn make a difference .
Will go back with family and bowl .

Been bowling and eating here twice a week for 4 years so I know a little bit about this place. The darn management must really suck because the turnover of employees is ridiculous. When you hire new people each month that means you have a lot of inexperienced and inconsistent service. The food has been GREAT when they had tri-​tip sandwiches etc and it’s been HORRIBLE lately. Strikes should be and could be a great place, but the owners just don’t care or they don’t know anything about running a business, The lanes break all the time because of antiquated equipment not being properly maintained. I’ll still go here but I’ll continue to shake my head and roll my eyes at the waste of great potential. As a music venue it’s pretty cool, the stage and sound can be really great sometimes. I say PAY some better wages for BETTER employees and review your service daily. Motivate your people with praise and lead by example. I hope you guys listen to your Unilocal reviews, it’s really a blessing to know from your customers what you’re doing right and wrong.

Do not go here! Six people behind the bar, one drinking with a patron, the others standing around talking ignoring me! Looks like one of their employees b-​day since I notice that the b-​day girl is walking behind the bar with shots! They notice me and continue with the talking and drinking! Lost my business and the business of anyone I contact about this POS place! One other patron at the bar and only one table with customers!!! Truly a place that doesn’t give a rats ass about customer service!!!

The food here use to be sooooo good. The tri-​tip sandwich and garlic fries were my favorite. I use to stop on my way home just for the food. The last 6 months or more though it’s completely changed… I hate eating food here now.
Pleeeeease fix the issue in the kitchen. I use to love coming and always suggest it for the girls to have a drink and dinner maybe some bowling after but never choose this place anymore, and its sad.

If I good give zero stars I would. Once again staffing was completely inadequate for the crowd. No matter how many times people complain, and last night I overheard two conversations with management about slow service, and food taking more than 2 hours. They have the opportunity to make a tone of money if only the staffed correctly. People should not wait in line for 20 – 30 minutes to get a drink. Completely unacceptable!

Poor service specially when there is a band. They only have 2 bar tenders working and the place is packed. Also, they don’t have time to cut limes or have pitchers washed.

I waited at the hostess stand for 15 minutes and nobody came to help me, so I left. They were busy but shouldn’t they have someone to help?

The food at ½ time has been decent
In the past but now losing the current chef they have decided to prebuy everything u eat
If McDonald’s or kfc is what’ve wanted
U can just eat before you go

Awesome service here. A nice place to hang out with good food and pleasant atmosphere.

First time here as I live in downtown Sacramento. It was OK. Not great, not terrible.
Positives-​place is huge with plenty of TVs. Should have a good view of whatever game you might want to be watching that day. Also seems clean. Parking no problem either. Staff seemed friendly.
Not so good-​Service is slow. Very slow, and there weren’t that many people in there as it was about 530 on a Friday night with the 49ers coming on at six. And I’m talking about the first time you see the waitress, when she comes to take your order, and when she finally bring your Bill. Just not good. Other thing is the food. Not saying it’s bad, but they add ingredients that one doesn’t normally get in another sports bar or restaurant. Using my cheesesteak sandwich as an example, they added something to it which I forget now what it was, but it significantly change the tasted, And not one I found good. Not saying that wasn’t disclosed on the menu, I just don’t normally look to see what ingredients the restaurant puts into a cheesesteak sandwich. Result was that it wasn’t a good experience.

UPDATE: The owner of Halftime contacted me through Unilocal to make our negative experience up to us which we have accepted. I’m upgrading my review from 1 star to 3 stars for the effort which I find appropriate. Hopefully it goes well. :-)

I’ve had my last bad experience here. We were seated at 6:10pm and by 7pm had received nothing but our drinks and excuses. «The kitchen is slammed»… Really? I don’t care how slammed your kitchen is. If you were doing your job you would’ve scheduled around that. Complained to the manager who gave us the same schpeil then told us it would be an additional 15 minutes! So well over an hour to get food. FU. We left. Feel bad for the server, she was nice and knew it was a total fail. I’ll never eat or drink here again. I’d rather go across town to bowl.

Our waitress was amazing, the food was horrible. When you ask for no onions in a cheeseburger and it comes back slathered with onions and the cheese isn’t melted… She was kind enough to have them remake it at her suggestion because as a habit I don’t send food back but still eww. The soup my friend had was nasty and tasteless as well.

Two stars because the first time it took a while to get service but it finally came. The second time I watched the bartender stock the bar and then talk a bit to a coworker. Other than that I didn’t see her wait on anyone. I wanted a drink a dinner. When you get paid for service, service should be your first priority. Peace Out!

Went to half time bar tonite in Rocklin ca. Two older white women were told to leave by the head of security because one of us apparently insulted the younger women who took our cover charge. Which was a total lie! We asked for the manager and we were told we couldn’t talk to them! Then we were told to leave and we said no and he said no we couldn’t stay even though we were paying customers. He called the other bouncer and we had to leave!!! I have never been treated so awful in all my days!
I have been in this establishment many times before! This is the poorest customer service ever that I’ve seen in all my 61 years! I will be writing their corporate office!
We were treated like we were some kind of threat two 60 year old women!!!

Just hanging out at the bar getting food and watching the games. Service is friendly but the appetizers took about 30 minutes. Food was good and it’s a great atmosphere to watch football. I was surprised at how many different teams were represented– it was cool.

Nice place to come and Relax on a Saturday night. Very clean, kind employees and a comfortable atmosphere. This is my first time to Half time in Roseville. Seems everyone was quite well enjoying themselves. Great live music provided by «Rebel Yell.» I’m not a dancer myself but there were lots of people dancing which means the music was well enjoyed.

A good place to watch games during the day and bands at night.
I really like coming here with friends for a game or to watch a band. This place is well set up for entertainment. But, things that go along with the games and bands such as food and drinks are just average.
Pro:
Plenty of TVs and all the sport channels.
A good selection of bands on weekend evenings.
Plenty of seating.
Servers seem nice.
CON:
Food is average.
Service is on the slow side. Faster at the bar, but not that much faster.
Prices are just so-​so.
Overall I like this venue and will continue to visit.

I purchased a Groupon for Strike’s bowling. This was good for 2 hours of bowling for 6, including a large pizza and sodas. Unfortunately, that had expired and since we’ve been to Half Time Grill on several occasions, we decided to use it here.
Now, it’s been almost two years since we’ve been back because the food was nothing to write about. In fact, it’s a good thing I didn’t review this place because I would’ve given 2 stars. We wanted to give them another shot in hopes that they may have changed their menu and maybe the cook?
They did make changes to their menu, for the better. We ordered the cheeseburger $ 9.99, BLTAC $ 8.99 and two street tacos $ 3.49. The burger was good, BLTAC was rather boring, street tacos, ehhh, not good, we only ate half of only one. We also ordered two iced teas, a coke, and one beer.
My Groupon was valued at $ 25, the price I paid, even though it had expired, I was still able to redeem what I originally paid. Without seeing my bill, I showed her the Groupon on my phone and we ended up having to pay a remainder of $ 16, not including gratuities.
Although they have made much improvement on their food, I’m not sure if I would be going back any time soon.
