This is Taco Bell with Tator tot bites. There is nothing Mexican, Tex-Mex, or Hispanic about hash brown bites. They do not belong as a side unless it is breakfast. They sure don’t belong in a burrito. Hot sauce is pizza sauce. May be I am overly harsh because I am from Texas and know what Mexican food is. This definitely isn’t it. It isn’t even an Americanized hack job of it. It’s just… Terrible. You would do better getting a burrito at a gas station and using their microwave to heat it up. You would save 6 bucks doing that as well.

Absolutely terrible service, the food was bland and the guy at the register must have been new. The lobby filled up while we were ordering and the Counter guy was from India and We couldn’t understand him. the people in the back got irritated with him when he asked for help. It took the guy ahead of me 15 minutes to order, we get the food and it tastes like garbage.

I love the food, but this location is the worst. The service is ALWAYS rude. Always. They have gotten my order wrong(left things out of the order on a drive thru order, given me the incorrect item or items, etc.) and tried to charge me to fix their error. The manager is rude and screams at her employees, so to a point I understand why the service is sub par. I wouldn’t care about my job either if my boss belittled me in in front of customers. I gave them THREE tries in the past two months to let them redeem themselves but it just gets worse. I only eat at the location in Machesney Park now. The service is better, faster, and the employees seem happier. It’s closer to my job, but this location would be more convenient since it’s near my home. I think they need a management overhaul.

Let’s see… 2 customers in restaurant. We went through the drive through… I went inside, used the bathroom, out of towels, son still in line after explaining 3 times, 6 pack combo ½ hard ½ soft shell… ½ hour after we got on line, I truck ahead of us, Tabrea says ‘fuck’, you ordered all soft shell, right? ‘No’ then I’ll just throw in the 3 hard shell and keep the 6 soft…’ Food was good though… All 9 tacos and potato olé

I love Taco John’s and I usually go to this location because it is close to my job. My favorite thing to get is the Super Potato Olé with no beans!

Fast food Mexican, it is what it is. The food is standard, they have some things I like better than others. The best thing about Taco Johns is the Potato Olé’s. They are like a seasoned tator tot and are highly craveable. The Super Potato Olé’s are my favorite. It’s like nachos only with potatoes olé’s instead of nacho chips. This location is pretty clean, the service depends on which teenager is working at the time you go in. Remember folks, it’s a fast food joint, it’s not a fancy restaurant.

Although I generally enjoy Taco Johns, this location is quite awful. The cheese is never fully melted when it should be and is often grainy. Skip this opportunity if you can.
