First time here in a long time. The place is 85% clean, the service so far is really well, very attentive.(The seats a bit eh, because I found a piece of lettuce on my seat, so from that, I’m assuming they use the same towel to clean the tables and the seats. If so, that’s nasty and you are spreading tons and tons of bacteria.) I ordered the Aussie sirloin. Rare with blue cheese, grilled asparagus and a baked potato. It was really good, chewy and bloody, because that’s how I like it. My party had some steak tacos which were delightful, and a fire cracker salmon, which was good. Overall service was good, well done and well attended. Our server was Jason, highly recommend him when you come here.

Friendly and attentive services both times I went with my family! The steak was not cooked correctly neither times but nothing that would cause me to lose my appetite! Excellent attention to my daughter and our drinks were always full!

Have been going for years here and there to the out back for dinner. Usually excellent. This time I went for lunch. My steak was excellent, half the size it used to be Victoria Filet, practically a snack. Awesome flavor, unfortunately it shrunk to half the size. The bread was not the freshest, last nights I guess. I got a salad, WOW where is the dressing is this a joke literally 1 teaspoon of dressing. the grilled asparagus YIKES horrible. One should never grill asparagus. Dad got Chicken Sandwich it was so bad he couldn’t eat it. Mom the sirloin, I warned her about it, it sucked the last time and it did this time too. The hostess and the waitress the best very attentive and very kind A+ for them, the only reason for the stars.

We went here to celebrate with family. The food was great, and the service was wonderful. My dad and I had the porterhouse pork chops, and they were well cooked, moist and very flavorful. We have other places that usually get our steakhouse business, but Outback definitely is in the running for repeat business!

Had an early Valentines dinner here. Was hardly any wait since we called ahead and the server was at our table quickly. The classic Outback special was fantastic. Melt in your mouth steak with a side of steamed broccoli. The bread was warm and absolutely delicious. My husband had the No rules parmesan pasta with shrimp and chicken. He was very pleased. We took a cheesecake with chocolate sauce to go which was wonderful as well.

We always get great service and the food is cooked the way we ask. Though Sometimes we get the Filet and it can be a bit fatty so I deducted a star for that.

Always good, speedy, friendly service. I love the Aussie Fries and am addicted to the sauce that comes out with them. Outback is perfect for date nights or families and larger groups and is very reasonably priced

Out backs customers can generally count on a consistent dining experience from house to house. The Rockford location is the only exception so far. The service is downright indifferent. How does one explain a server that neglects repeated requests for utensils, water and napkins? A chopped salad order with blue cheese that only arrives after repeated requests, meal interruptous from the restaurant manager — handing out coupons for future visits and more of that ilk. The lack of care is incredible. Until the last 10 minutes when the check arrives and a sugary faint offer for dessert is made by our waiter. Our visit was on the day before Mother’s Day and-the place was not overflowing with diners; but we were ignored like never before, we all rubber necked around – looking for him for the simplest of things. Their priorities are butts in seats — period.

After enjoying a nice steak dinner and paying our bill, my husband and I thought gee it’s been awhile since the sever refilled our drinks(water) we walked to bar and filled them and returned to our seat to continue to watch college basketball after the game was over we figured our time there was much longer then expected, 2 hrs had passed after paying bill, still no sever. in fact the manager didn’t check in at all.

I love the Ausie fries. Going down the road to Stone Eagle and trying their bacon cheese fries isn’t worth it, believe me. Their steaks are always made very well. I usually either get well done or medium well and it’s never dry, which I believe is very important; especially in Rockford.

Enjoyed lunch with the family last Saturday afternoon and everything was great. I’ve eaten at Outbacks in many different states and their food is always consistently good wherever you are. Aside from slow service on this particular occasion(which was only bc our server was still learning the ropes), we had no complaints. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Outback!

Had the Steak with added ½ pound Crab legs. The 1st Order were a little cold so I had the suckers crawl back in to the steam pot to warm up a little longer. My Sister had the same problem with the Lobster. It was close to closing time so it is what it was. Been 100 times will keep going back when i feel the need to go down under.

One of my favorite places for steak. Been here many a times and never been disappointed. Service is decent, food is good and reasonably priced. Convenient location as well.

I have been to Outback many times, but, last night’s experience really stands out above the rest. I’ve never had a bad experience there, mind you. It’s just that last night was extra special. We were seated immediately and our server(Jade) came over promptly to get a drink order and to help us decide upon an appetizer. Of course we chose the Bloomin’ Onion. What’s the point of going to the Outback if you don’t get the Bloomin’ Onion? She brought our drinks along with some hot, fresh fresh bread. We needed a little more time and she gave it to us. She was so friendly. I decided on the ½ rack of ribs with a side salad and loaded sweet potato. The rib meat was so tender it literally was falling off the bone. The salad tasted very fresh and unlike most restaurants in Rockford, it was NOT just lettuce and dressing. It had tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and homemade croutons. The sweet potato was your typical sweet potato with butter and brown sugar, but good, nonetheless. My partner had a steak, loaded potato and a side salad. He said that the steak had a great flavor to it and was cooked just right. I also let him try my ribs, and he agreed, they were the best we’ve had in Rockford. I can’t stress enough how great our server was, she was right there when we needed her without needlessly hovering. She kept our drinks and bread filled wonderfully. Before we left, we asked to speak to a manager to compliment our server and the food. He seemed a bit stiff, maybe he’s just used to so many people complaining about every little thing, trying to get something for free. I would definitely go back and recommend the Outback to anyone who likes good food.

We ate here with my family for a special celebration. There were only 5 of us, and they managed to undercook all of the steaks we ordered. I mean, way undercooked. But our waitress was nowhere to be seen to complain to, and I don’t like sending food back(God knows what they’d do with it). It had been a while since we had been here because of the prices. We’ll not return because of mediocre food and awful service. Do yourself a favor and pick a different steak house.

Not bad. They could see the happy birthday song with a little bit more gusto.
