gander mountain of rockford sucks they use to carry a lot of lem jerky seasonings and bradley smoker wood bisquettes no they do not have much to pick from they told me wife that they do not sell thats not true cus i am there all the time buying them guess i will have to spend my money at some other store

Their prices are generally way too high on virtually everything. I go to check out the firearms that I’m interested in buying, but then order elsewhere MUCH cheaper. Once in a while I buy a few other things if the sale prices are low enough.

Gander Mountain has been a go to place for me to get shooting, camping and canoeing supplies for years. They have a decent selection of many things, and their gun counter is one of the better ones for large chains.
The nicest thing about Gander Mountain was that they used to have their own in house Gun Smith, but they have done away with that and now any gun smithing that needs to be done is shipped to another store to work. I like being able to talk to the gun smith, so them not having one has reduced the amount I use them for Firearm repairs.
Gander Mountain does have a lot of items you can get in other stores, and often cheaper, but they also have a lot of items that I’ve only found in their stores. Their price difference isn’t enough to send me traveling all over if I’m looking for something specific and other items at the same time.
