If your looking to get your kids in the pool and some formal swim instruction I think Kimswim is a place to be considered. It’s pretty simple and basic but provides what’s needed. It’s conveniently located of Rt. 46 in a commercial strip mall. The building itself is tucked away and upon entering you walk right into the pool area. There are locker rooms to change but nothing fancy. I think for the price and facility it’s a good deal. I must admit I haven’t visited any other swim location except for YMCA and YMCA is totally different.

I signed up for the first time just recently. Great instructor, but that’s it. It was hard to reach any personnel on the phone. The pool is overly chlorinated. I come out of there with burning eyes and a headache each time that I go and I’m not the one taking lessons. They won’t open the door to let air in. The facility is just a room with a pool. There is a bathroom with a toilet and a separate shower on the outside. Two makeshift changing rooms. Rusty and musty. My child’s current instructor is great. Really teaches form. I like her style of teaching. I’m debating whether to sign up again as the overly chlorinated pool and heat are beyond oppressive.
