The best of all the pizza joints in Rockaway(excluding Boardwalk Pizza from this comment, they are in a class all their own). Best prices and they never overcharge nor burn or undercook their food. Our favorite is the siciian with pepperoni. And you can’t beat the $ 10 Monday pie!

This was my first time at this pizza place. I ordered a regular slice. In contrast to some of the other business owners on this strip. These guys were polite and welcoming. My slice came up quick and perfect temp. The dry spices were all full and clean. I can’t stand when they are covered in grease from previous customers, so I appreciate that they keep them clean. The slice was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but decent. Far tastier than the place down the block. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back to this area, but I would definitely stop in for a slice if I did.

the buffalo chicken pizza is great. They do put lots of meat on there pizzas. Customer service isn’t one of there strong suits.

Great crust! Crisp but substantial — just what you want in a NY slice. Cheese and sauce were forgettable, but who cares? The crust is great!

The pizza was good but the short fat guy serving the pizza at the front is an ass hole. He was very rude and even got into an argument with another customer. Terrible service

Food is good but they treat customers like crap. On 3 different occasions I’ve placed orders for pick up and arrived on time, yet my order is never ready. As I stand here now, I arrived 30 mins after I called — they said 25 mins… I’ve now been waiting over 15 mins and still no food. Order was placed almost 50 mins ago… Also was told 5 mins after I arrived«they’re starting your tortellini». Are you f***ing kidding me??? Total time from call to food: 50 mins Total overtime waited: 20 mins(I was 5 mins late) (I’m now back home) Here’s an interesting course of events — — I arrive 5 mins late — I’m told it’ll be ready soon — A delivery guy tells me on his way out, «they’re starting your order», I ask wtf, he says they’re busy — I ask where my order is — I’m told it’s coming — A delivery guy(different from first) arrives back and asks if there are any deliveries, he’s told«no». — 25 mins after I was told to pick up I’m handed my order and I then told the guy I should have a discount because this is ridiculous, he ignores me, I tell him I just wrote a nice Unilocal review since I had 25 mins to kill, he ignores me and says«we’re busy», he hands me my change — no discount. I told him«good bye for the LAST time, you’re not the only food in RP». SO tell me this, how busy were they really when I stood there for 25 mins, not ONE person at any table inside, the phone didn’t ring ONCE and he told he driver there were no deliveries — oh and I was the only idiot standing at the counter…(???) You know what I think? I think they FORGOT to make my order and did a really bad job of covering it up… Lied to my face about being busy. Good lads over there! One star for the good food –4 stars for customer service.

Slices and Ices, IMHO, offers a better tasting alternative to Ciros in terms of pizza and meals. The Grandma squares are yummy and I’m a fan of the linguini marinara on the nights I’m too tired to cook. Is there better food to eat in NYC? Most assuredly. But options are limited on the peninsula and this is a solid choice.

Decent cheese pizza and pretty cheap also. I had the Chicago Meat Lovers Pizza, awesome stuff, and plenty of toppings.

I have tried this place twice I wasn’t to impressed at 2.50 a slice customer service is nil the décor on the inside is pretty blah not the kind of place i would go sit for meal and being located on B116th street you can expect a couple of vagrants to harass you or worse before you even step inside. look elsewhere if your hungry

They’re not consistent, I have had some good pizza there before but I also had a slice that I wouldn’t feed my dog. In a million years, I would never hand a customer an old, greasy, thin, burnt, slice. This thing was like a piece of hot wet looseleaf paper.
