Delicious! Buffalo chicken, chicken cutlets, eggplant parm, roasted veggies, scones… This is what we have had so far and everything was great!!! I’m planning on having them cater my daughters communion party. Try Claudette’s you won’t be disappointed.

I love the turkey burgers. My girlfriend has me get her the cheesecake everytime I go in or by there. I really hope the return of the boardwalk this Summer will bring more people to enjoy their goods.

Nice selection of homemade foods. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. I recommend this place. A nice addition to the community!

Delicious and healthy food and drink in easily available for take out or on the spot consumption… God bless Claudette! The fiesty french chef… sandwich and dinner combo specials, food by the pound, the best at reasonable prices. Hallelujah!!! Pass the banana pudding, and that fresh barista green tea. I am in heaven at Cuisine by Claudette. Put me down for the Thanksgiving package for six… Merci !!! Bravo !!!

The food here is so good! They have so many options and you really can’t go wrong… even the coffee was great. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely stop by again.

Great selection of freshly prepared homemade foods. Flavors range from Moroccan and French, to some borderline Italian. Lots to choose from… and it’s ALL good. The BBQ Pulled Pork is one of my favorites.
The coffee is excellent. They also offer espressos and lattes which are as well. My favorite thing to get here are the smoothies and juices. The «Superfood» smoothie is my favorite. Tastes like green apple, but there is a bunch of healthy stuff in it. :-)
There is a nice selection of imported olives and olive oils for purchase, as well as some olive spreads.
Parking can be a pain. This street is the biggest ticket-​trap I’ve ever seen, as nearly half of the meters are non-​functional and the cops drive up and down and issue tickets non-​stop. The city must make literally thousands of dollars per day from this street alone.

This place was just what I hoped for. Great food friendly people. One of the few coffee’s I’ve had in NYC where I can’t do better at home. Really, this place is the business! It would be surprising to find this quality of coffee, food and juice in downtown Manhattan, but to find it in the Rockaways makes it even more special.

Place is awesome! A little expensive but well worth the prices. Lunch/​Dinner meal is the best value for $ 15. One main and two sides can easily feed two people. Banana bread is the best I’ve ever had! Chick pea and feta salad is also amazing! Anything you get from here is made from scratch and will keep you coming back for more!

Lovely coffee shop with much more than just delicious coffee to offer right by the beach. It’s a community gem that provides a large variety of absolutely delicious food and beverages. A warm atmosphere that is enhanced by the welcoming staff offers a generous portion of too tasty not to try sweets and meals to keep your beach visit just as enjoyable to your palate as it is to your body. The staff and manager Yarden are welcoming and very helpful in finding you the perfect pairing to your perfect day. A best of the area for sure.

Lovely family run place right next to the beach.
All the food is homemade by the mother of the family in the back, and her very sweet sons serve it up in the front.
Vegan and vegetarian friendly with a fully stocked juice bar.
There are lots of homemade takeaway options.

Different from other restaurants/​coffee bars nearby, which is great! Reminds me of a place from Park Slope or Williamsburg.

Probably the friendliest and cutest place you can find in the neighborhood. We ordered the Brie Apple Sandwich with a side of tomato soup. Although soup was tasty, it was cold. The sandwiches were yummy, a bit greasy for my taste. I like the ambiance of this cute place.

Owner/​chef Claudette is friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile. The turkey burgers with feta and spinach are the best I’ve ever had. Ditto for the banana pudding.

I avoid chains at all cost. Though there didn’t seem to be a ton of local options during my recent visit. Lucky I found Claudette’s lil nook!
I love a quaint restaurant, with attention to detail and amazing customer service. The food and plating were top notch.

My family and I love this place! I can feed my picky hubby their delish Panko crusted chicken cutlets and my daughter loves the quinoa and kids especially love their peanut butter cookies!!! If you want high quality homemade food you must try their food!!! If you want mediocre food go to a chain restaurant or a hole in the wall diner!!!

Can’t say enough good things about Claudette’s. You can’t beat the entrée and 2 sides deal. I usually try to get something different when I go in, but I Cant help myself and get at least the corn salsa or egg fritters every time. The spinach and feta turkey burger is super good too. Everything has always been really good, hence why I get dinner from here once or twice a week. Staff is always super nice and helpful, even packing an extra bit of sides with my dinner occasionally.
Can’t say much about the juice bar since I haven’t had it, but everything they have there is fresh so I would Imagine it’s pretty good.

I recently started patronizing Claudette’s Cuisine and it’s truly been a pleasure. I love the communal table set up and local art work inside! I also found both the coffee and juice bars exceptional. I have both eaten in and had take out once and both food items were simply delicious. I was impressed by kind and helpful staff as well as Claudette herself who came out from the kitchen to chat with me –busy as I’m sure she was a week or so before Christmas. I am definitely a fan and will be back !

I’ve been eating at places in Rockaway for longer than I can remember, and Claudette’s is by far the best option. Yes, better than the tacos. Everything is ridiculously fresh, she runs everything herself, and has family staffing the place. They also have coffee and juice bars, as well as good stuff to grab and take to the beach or on the train. All around great option.
