Once again job well done. My name is Alexander. I celebrate my Birthday on June 25^th. I I was overwhelmed, excellent food best ever, excellent service. Thank you very much to the owners and the staff, for me and my guests to have a great time and the date of my Birthday!!!

We brought a big group (17 people) to celebrate a birthday and the experience did not disappoint. Excellent food (and lots of it, they even gave us leftovers to take home) — and we only ordered the low-​end banquet menu. They allowed us to bring our own wine (to supplement the vodka they provided) and our own cake too. They made a fuss over the birthday boy, singing to him, giving him champagne to pop. Music starts at 10:20 or so and man did it get loud. My only quibble would be that it would have been nice to mingle a little before we started eating, but they seated us right away and then the food started arriving. Yes, it is far for Manhattanites, but so worth it for a once-​in-​a-​lifetime kind of experience.

Came here with few of my friends. Bad food, root security guards, hostes (Olesya) is very mean. Run from this place.

This restaurant changed so many owners and changed so many names that I lost track. This is a popular place for Russians to go– it has an upstairs covered roof terrace which is probably cool to visit in the summer. The place has a stage and music and mostly caters to events and parties. Food is not bad although not 5 star, but place is pretty crowded and every time there is a party there is no place to even dance. However I would recommend it for special occasions as its location is very convenient to South Brooklyn.

Nice place, music is Russian+American pop on the 1^st floor, 2^nd floor-​more like a club music, which is my favorite, BUT it’s sooo dark on the second floor so you barely see something, just a little more lighting please!!! Drinks not so great. Overall atmosphere/​people are friendly and fun.
Be sure to wear comfortable heels and a nice sexy outfit (for girls)

I came here again, and enjoyed myself again, even though we got there too late for food. Anyhoo, still got drinks, which were good, and got to dance and enjoy the music. (Side note — someone my size should not be drinking without food in their stomach; what a hangover I had the next morning). Both the upper and lower levels had good music playing, and the bartenders were attentive enough for it being such a busy Saturday. I had fun and will definitely be back.

Had my son’s first birthday party here. The staff was very accommodating. The food was great. Will have more parties here!

Speaking from a perspective of a person who gets up and takes a train to a different part of a city or even better, state, and drives, rides or runs to a place that caters and satisfies my tastebuds, I can assure you that this place deserves a visit or even a permanent residency.
Implacable service, finely crafted cocktails and chef who is worth not one but few Micheline stars, will definitely make your experience an unforgettable one.
I love coming here on weekdays for a raw bar and some great wine, as well as on weekends for some unforgettable nights filled with live music and never ending entertainment!

Had my wedding here and everything met our expectations. The food and service was above and beyond. All my guests were left extremely satisfied and many suggested they will be return customers. The live entertainment was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything better for our wedding

Spent over $ 15k there in the past (including my bday, valentine and so on) Just went in there and git rejected. This place changed owners many times and it will again if the owner wont put his employees there on leash. Huynya polnaya

We just had a large party at this restaurant and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service. I had originally booked the party on their rooftop and in light of the scare of Joaquin hurricane, was afraid that it wouldn’t be pleasant there. The owners/​managers were extremely accommodating and set up the party downstairs although they had another large event there later in the day (ours was a day time Sunday party) AND set up the rooftop for us as well. The response to all my questions or requests was either ‘yes’, ‘no problem’, ‘we’ll work it out’. The amount and quality of food was excellent, we ended up taking a lot of food home with us. The menu included oysters and lamb chops, and other excellent dishes. The bill that we got was EXACTLY what we had discussed and agreed to. The entire staff was super helpful with everything, starting from getting napkins to bringing our stroller up and down the stairs.
We had such an amazing time that I am booking our corporate Christmas party at this restaurant.

Went here for a friend’s boozy birthday brunch. It was a banquet for 25 people all together and we had part of the rooftop for 5 hours. It was $ 65 for each person and it was «unlimited» food and drinks (non-​alcohol). We were served assorted salads, appetizers, kebabs, beef stroganoff (w/​o sauce), and cake and fruit for dessert with coffee and tea. The celebrant brought bottles of booze to keep the costs down– not sure if we were charged a corkage fee.
Anyway, the name of this place is super misleading because there really isn’t that much of a view– all you have is poor scenery comprised of a bit of the bay, the belt parkway, and the deli across the street. It’s really well-​decorated though and at night, you don’t even mind the «view».
All in all, for $ 65 per person, it was a good deal.

Did you eat before coming here? Do you like thick Russian accents? Are you a U.S. citizen? If you answered yes to all of these questions, this place is for you.
There’s really not much to say for this monstrosity of a «restaurant»… The food is awful and the music is loud and typical for a Russian place. The scene consists of long legged blondes who recently immigrated to nearby Brighton Beach and desperate Russian guys who seek their company. The décor on the rooftop is nice though and the drinks are abundant.
There’s really no reason to come here other than to get drunk and potentially meet your future ex wife who married you strictly to obtain a U.S. citizenship.

I’ll review the establishment for the upstairs roof-​top lounge and the restaurant part. I have been there on numerous occasions. The food is always great, the drinks are great, but the upstairs service can be sometimes slow. Also I called the other day and asked if there was an entry fee, the man on the phone said there isn’t one, but to get a table it is $ 65 per person. When we got there, there was no fee which was confusing. The people are a mix of classy, well dressed guys and girls. Nice ambiance, nice music. A great place all in all considering that part of Brooklyn.

This was my second time attending this place and I wasn’t too happy. The music is not that fun to dance to, the stereo system is outdated and kept crackling, it gets pretty packed, and it’s just not my crowd of people.
I am very disappointed with the food, since Russian restaurants are generally good with that. The steak was cold and not very well cooked, the potato’s were pretty flavorless, and the rest of the wood was just bland. The only reason that I give 2 stars is because the waiter was very friendly and hard working.
I won’t be going back to this establishment, especially at such a costly rate.

This may be the worst restaurant in Brooklyn. So upsetting as it has all the elements to be great but FAILS in EVERYTHING!
Let’s start:
— $ 20 for valet (are you kidding?)
— each one of their staff calls it different: «la view» or «la voo». Yeah, they don’t know, and frankly, I don’t care
— the singers suck! I mean horrible.
— the food is uneatable

— it’s cold inside

— waiters need deodorant
— the food is bad
— the music is horrible
I guess the only thing that’s good enough to give this restaurant 1 star is the fact that the music was turned off sometimes and that the wifi password was easy to guess (phone number)
I really hope that my stomach doesn’t hurt tomorrow morning.

This place is so nice! I’m not Russian, but the music was very diverse on a Sunday. I love it here. My app was beautiful and yummy.

First review I’ve given in a long time. Came back on to write this right here. The food is legit, juicy, tasty, and the moment you take your first bite you’ll know you made the right decision to come out this way. The rooftop had an outstanding atmosphere filled with beautiful crowd and unique drinks that I’ve never tried before.
Will definitely come back.

Over priced for average food, average service, OK music (for a Russian Restaurant it wasn’t bad), and an extremely gross and pretentious crowd…
Seriously if you want to go have an amazing dinner for $ 150 per person there are SOOOOO many other options in NY that this is just ridicules to waste your money on.
Go have some pizza instead :)
