Unfortunately, can’t compare to Tropical Escape, though the spring rolls and fried banana dessert stay true to home. Will forever be a fan of their delicious, delicate spring rolls and garlic sauce… The rest of the menu I would like to see them return to the old Polynesian favorites they had a Tropical Escape!

Had breakfast here which was very bland and overpriced considering how bad the food was. Biscuit served with meal was cold and hard. Coffee was terrible and tasted as if it were made hours prior. Music was really loud and service poor. Will not be back.

Solid breakfast. I had the tap-si-log-Manilla breakfast. The beef was cooked well but tender and flavorful. Rice and garlic sauce is nice change of pace for a breakfast place in the south. Staff was very pleasant and checked in often enough. One knock would be the coffee, it was a bit weak for my taste. Will be going back.

Today i had the sausage n cheese omlette. Home run today. The coffee was much better. Seems they acted upon my comment from last trip. Miss Brenda is still a ball of southern energy, and always delightful when she comes to your table.

Tropial Sunrise is owned by the same people who owned Tropical Escape. I guess they retired then missed the restaurant business. Welcome back. For people who know about Tropical Escape the menu at Tropical Sunrise is very different Rather than have Oriental style food they serve breakfast and have a lunch/dinner menu that is more homestyle. The service was excellent. The food was above average but it is not like Tropical Escape. It will take some getting used to but I love diners and this place did not fail to disapoint in that area.
