One of Rock Hill’s best restaurants. We come here ALL the time. Very cute French café ambience. We love the spinach and gruyère tartine, breakfast sandwiches on croissant, spinach and leek soup(they will let you try the soups first if you aren’t sure), salted caramel brownie(also a gluten free version), key lime torte, macaroons, petit gateaux. Oh and the coffee is amazing!

I guess it’s my own fault for expecting Café du Monde style café au lait in Rock Hill, but it still might have been nice to have strong coffee– whereas this is weak.

Let me start off by saying That Amelie’s has an overall welcoming setting. There is no place quite like it. Unique art, cool colors, and mood lighting make it a great place to go and visit with friends or study. The food is great. I had a BLT on a croissant and it will CHANGE your life. Delicious, warm, flakey, and as I write this I now have to eat here this evening! The dessert is sweet and there is a good variety of sweets to choose from at a decent price!

Desserts are amazing. Definitely a 4. Coffee is a 3. I’m rating it a 3 because we came for coffee and it wasn’t as great as it could have been. I ordered a dark roast and it tasted very mild. The décor is different, I especially love the hanging pot fixture. Customer service is great.

Stopped in for a cookie ended up having several. The honey macaroons were so good and I don’t care for the taste of honey. Had a great espresso with them that was St Patrick’s day during the festival downtown. Headed back there right now for some crème brûlée !!

Amazing French bakery! Not only does it have wonderful food and drinks, but also has a great atmosphere. Must have their macaroons and chai tea latte when you go!

Excellent atmosphere and delicious treats. Closest I’ve found to reliving the Paris/Brussels experience here in SC

I now have to agree with some of the other reviewers regarding the lack of freshness. I have been on various visits and tried different items which tasted stale/too long in display case? I have tried vanilla éclair, macarons and croissants-all three had been tossed. Cannot afford to toss pricey pastries;however, I still love the coffee beverages. Also I wish they would have a morning duo upfront. Too many times I have witnessed the cashier also prepare the food items. Considering how nasty money is, plus it backs up the line for those just wanting a drink. I get it’s not a large chain, but a little quicker service would be nice especially when you are en route to work/on lunch break.

HOPEYOUFIND A SEAT. A smaller location to the Charlotte location. Nice atmosphere. I love coffee and if you are looking for a strong stock espresso drink then you gotta get an extra shot. There is a large milk to espresso ration on the lattes. Seating can be tricky if it is busy.

Quit and cheerful little bakery and restaurant. Great spot to grab a healthy lunch or indulgence. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food is equally as good. Highly recommend.

It’s a french bakery… Everyone is awesome there. They laugh at my bad jokes and always treat you nice. It’s a treat to go there and it’s nice to have one in Rock Hill.

I’m spoiled by Amelie’s Charlotte. This location didn’t meet my standards bec the desserts didn’t taste fresh and there were smaller selections. I will give them another try though just bec the staff were friendly.

Stop. Stop! How did I find such an adorable place in the middle of Rock Hill, SC?! This place is amazing. I love it. I walked in around 710am on a Saturday morning and there was no line, but very prompt service! People are super friendly and knowledgeable. From a Francophile like myself, I have high standards for French food/pastries/coffee and this place definitely lives up to it! Plus, the space is absolutely adorable! I wish I lived closer, but, definitely go!

If you’re looking for a neat place to lunch with co-workers or a coffee shop to grab some Joe before work then this is the spot for you. The quiche of the day is always on point and i love the ambiance. They’ve got a cute little upstairs sitting area overlooking the café and tons of options for anyone with a sweet-tooth. I frequent the Uptown Charlotte and NoDa locations so was thrilled to find out there is one in Rock Hill where I work.

What a gem in Rock Hill. Great coffee, perfect croissant and the Carmel brownies left me speechless. Still talking about those! Cute place… I’ll have to try it again soon!

The Amelie’s empire seems to be rapidly expanding! The Rock Hill location occupies a great old bank building in the Old Town section. There’s a great sense of history to the building that carries throughout the interior, but gets mixed with some bits of modern artistic flair and whimsy. The restaurant cooler is housed in the old bank vault and makes for a cool display. A small second floor dining balcony overlooks the main dining room. Of course it wouldn’t be Amelie’s without cases full of delicious pastries. As a purist, I appreciate a really good croissant or Pain au Chocolat. My kids think the French Macaroons are so pretty, but always end up stealing my croissants! The coffee is good and strong — I always get a French Roast Café au Lait. A new location recently opened in Charlotte and I think one opened up in Atlanta too! The«love locks» on the fence out front give this place a real Parisian feel and make for a great photo op!

Loved it! Great spot in a charming location. A nice variety of tasty pastries and delicious coffee in a very nice old bank building. The eclectic décor is not my thing but the chocolate eclairs and café mocha are so I was a happy camper. A nice spot for tea or coffee and a snack or dessert!

Had the build your own breakfast sandwich. Baguette, egg, sausage, gruyère and a plain coffee. Great stuff. That baguette was one of the best I have had in a long long time. Crispy, not chewy, crust and soft interior complimented the other ingredients for a great start to the day. Nice atmosphere too made it feel like someplace you want to sit and relax with that cup of coffees. Have to add — the staff was really great, smiling, helpful and acted like they were glad to be there and glad you were too.

Speechless at the esthetics and Parisian feel this place gives to its visitors. We wanted to find a good coffee place, with great wifi but this place just exceeded my expectations. Tried the French macaroons and regular latte in a mug. The serving was so generous I didn’t get to finish my hot drink. The wifi was great and helped us get ahead with remote work. I wish I had a place like this in Maryland.
