Taco Moreno

I always pass by this place but never stopped by… I’ve been missing out for so long. The tacos are soft shelled and the burritos are stuffed. Comes with a little key lime half and some sauce. Mmmmmmnnmn! Friendly guy at the register!

We’ve been trying to catch this truck for a long time to compare it to the other trucks in town. In all honesty, we thought they’d moved somewhere else. We’ve stopped by the parking lot next to the car wash and in from of Cub Food at 5pm and 6pm on two nights and they weren’t there. I asked the guy tonight and he said they are there from 6pm till 11pm every day except Sunday. You may want to show up around 7pm just to be safe.
Great if you just want meat and a shell. Not much else going on here. For $ 16 I got a burrito, 4 tacos, and 2 sauces. We think the salsa was a roasted tomatillo. It had a nice spice.
The tacos were the best part. They cooked up the shells right in front of me. It came with some tasty meat, a little cilantro, some Mexican cheese, and a small slice of keylime. Nice flavor, but very small for the price.
The burrito was sad. It had some diced steak, a sprinkle of cheese, and some shredded lettuce. That was it. No guacamole, no sour cream, no beans, no tomato… not much of anything. I could order the tacos again, but I would never order another burrito. A complete rip off at $ 8.
Not bad, but if we’ll probably go across the street to Lucy’s next time. For less money you’ll get the same meal with rice and beans as a side. Plus, their burrito was 100x better. To be brutally honest, we were excited to try this place and completely let down and we’ll never be back.

This is the taco spot! They have the best location right on the outskirts of the softball complex. Whoever’s idea that one was is a genius.
Tacos are SO good. Very authentic and just $ 2 a taco. Very simple choices but totally delicious. They come with this habenero sauce of some sort and it is the best kind of spicy with tons of flavor!
We stop every time before or after softball. Make sure you hit the ATM because it is cash only!

We stop every night after softball (Mon-​Thurs) in the summer, now with about half the team. Everyone’s getting hooked. We stick with just getting the tacos and they rock. We usually get a mix of every kind. The salsa is great too.
I am pretty sure these guys are in cahoots with El Caramabs across the street. It shows in the quality and flavor of the food.
Not sure why everyone seems to love La Poblana. We had a terrible meal there and waaaay over priced on stuff, especially the guac (but the guac is good, I’ll give them that).
Swing down and and hit the truck for tacos (summer) or if you want a full meal (or fall/​winter/​spring), zip across the street to El Carambas.
Skip every other mexican spot in town, you’ll be glad you did.

Most authentic mexican in town. The employees don’t speak very much english, and the selection is limited. The food is delicious, and it is a fun experience.

Great service.
Go for the steak tacos or the steak Torta.
