Chipotle Mexican Grill

Nasty location! When mentioned to the manager, he held up his hands in a «what the hell do you want me to do about it?» Fashion. Will not be eating at this location again.

Typically this location in Rochester makes great burritos. However today they forgot the basic 101 rule of cooking. They did not put any salt on their chicken and it was a burrito that tasted like nothing. All I could taste was tortilla and salsa. Please put salt on your chicken.

After all the bad publicity about them I still go here, its fast, fresh and you can get exactly what you want. No place else in town thats fast food can say that, plus you can watch as they build it. I am partial to the black beans and their red chili salsa anyways. Their chips are always thin and crispy. Sometimes its not so fast when theres a line to the door, but it moves pretty fast. Parking is good too, large lot at crossroads. I had a room mate who worked here and brought it home almost every night, I never got sick of it.

I swear every time I come here the line is huge and all the employees walk around like they don’t have anything to do? It’s only 4pm and the place looks dirty and they’ve run out of some food items. You get an extra star because I’m a fan of your guac…

When you order a burrito online it’s supposed to be ready when you get there, especially when it’s 35 minutes later. Not in this case. Even though one worker was sweeping, my order hadn’t even been printed. Not cool.

Poor service and the person making my burrito didn’t seem to understand what came on the veggie. Also the cashier kept disappearing between customers so had to wait quite a while to get rung up while my food sat getting cold. Also was overcharged for the steak burrito instead of the veggie. Will stick to the north location if I come back at all. Staff not helpful at all and most of the tables were filthy.

The staff here is so grumpy! The food is always good but the staff makes it not so good. Last time was the worst. The chick literally rolled her eyes and glared at me when I asked for a little more salsa– and God forbid– a side of guac. Then they were out of ice and the cashier rolled his eyes at me when I told him. Less eye rolling and more smiles please!

Was there at 3pm on. Saturday, wasn’t that busy and the restaurant was absolutely disgusting. Trash was overflowing and lots of garbage on the floor. The employees were too busy talking about their night out. Food also didn’t taste that good and the sour cream tastes spoiled. I emailed corporate but have not gotten a response.

This Chipotle has the slowest and most inefficient server line I’ve ever seen. Many appear to have had zero training, there’s no system in place so it is chaos back there and the communication is terrible. We absolutely stunk the guy by requesting corn tortillas and ordering a couple of children’s quesadillas. It actually took us four trips back over a period of 15 minutes to get the quesadillas. We stopped by for a quick bite to eat and were finally getting out of there 15 minutes later.

Terrible experience. I used to come here 5 – 6 years ago with friends often because restaurant options in town were much more limited then. This place has definitely gotten worse.
Service — Horrible. We called in an order. We arrived early and they said it wouldn’t be ready yet so we waited. At the designated time we had been given, we asked if it was ready and they said «it should be». Then they proceeded to start making it, very hurried. They then ignored us at the register and we had a hard time paying. Clearly they are not concerned about the customer.
Cleanliness — bad. Our table was dirty with dried food on it. The bathroom was disgusting.
Food — horrible. See picture of an uninspired «salad» with iceberg lettuce, pathetic corn, and an excuse for meat called chicken, all smashed in a bowl looking completely unappealing.
Go to the North location, or perhaps, skip it and try some of the other great restaurants in town.

So slow that the line was nearly out the door. It took so long to get through the line that the meat and rice in my bowl we cold before I got through the rest of the line. The food is generally as good as the others but this Chipotle is SLOW!

We have eaten here quite a lot and have stopped going as much because of the service– ordering what you want isn’t as important as the conversations the servers are having– no consistency with food portions, too much going on on the line and it’s so loud in there you can’t hear.
The employees are less than thrilled to be there. The food is good when they have what you want…
It is also frustrating when they are making your bowl, and another employee comes up and decides to make a «call in»
Order — they need to organize that place better.
My husband and I are always frustrated after we leave… we have chosen to go to the north location lately as it’s slightly better.

I’ve been her many many times. But in the last 6 months it’s gone down hill. The place is trashed. Not one clean table to eat on. The floor was nasty. The drink station looked like it had not been cleaned in years. I wonder what the kitchen looks like. Food was fine. Everything else gross!

Extremely dirty everywhere. Old lettuce, grumpy staff. Couldn’t believe how gross this was on a Sunday afternoon. Love Chipotle but won’t be eating here again.

We received a gift card for Chipotle for Christmas and decided to give it a shot. There was a long line of customers and they kept coming in.
As we got closer to the serving line I had an idea of what I wanted. Watching the chefs preparing the food in the background I can understand why they come to LeCordonBleu looking for employees.
As busy as it was I was surprised how quickly the line went and the servers were quick kind and courteous.

This chipotle tends to be slower and dirtier than the north one. They also tend to rip the tortilla while wrapping them, leaving a fantastic surprise when you find the tear under the fool.
The food is good, and it’s a much faster drive. Of course, some days it takes so long to get through the line I feel like going across town would have been faster anyway.

This has to be a poor example of Chipotle! I’ve been to many of them and would always rate them highly.
To begin with, there was no line when we entered. The staff was busy chatting with each other and we had to wait almost 5 minutes before our order was taken. I asked for a salad and there was a further wait while a server brought lettuce to the front of the line. I had a simple order for one chicken salad, but alas, when I was rung up, I was rung up for two meals, both with extra guacamole! Another almost 10 minutes was spent reversing the charges with the manager finally comping the meal (if the credit was processed correctly.) We then had trouble finding a halfway clean place to sit where both the table and floor was somewhat clean. This was about 2pm on Saturday.
I certainly won’t be visiting this Chipotle again!

Great staff, there with the big smile and generally very efficient the with the food for a quick in an out for lunch or dinner to fix that craving.

Chipotle is great but if you come to this location during lunch, expect to wait at least half an hour.
