It is okay. I don’t like that my 2 year old can sneak out the back of the play scape without me seeing. There are quite a few blind spots and I really don’t want to follow the kid into the structure. Seems like there were a lot of sick kids, which is normal, but the place had a gritty feel. And as bad as Java Jungle is, my son liked that playground better. Oh, the food is atrocious. I tried it because we were thinking about having an overpriced birthday party here — gross. They were out of strawberries(which every smoothie they have includes that fruit) and their hummus was in a container with a handful of chip crumbs.

I bought a membership because my daughter loves running around here. Unfortunately one day last week it was 9:15 before anyone showed up to open the business that opens at 9am. Then again today I was there at 9:15 and there were chocolate bars smooshed into the carpet which tells me no one likely even vacuums? Women with shoes eating breakfast in the toddler area. Very disappointing. I agree with other reviews that it seems like they must have lost their managers?

I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and have taken them to Rochester Play several times. The play area is pretty nice. You can see the kids from most seats around the play zone. They have a small area specifically for younger kids which is nice. Since moving to their new location they have added several«active» type games. They cost $ 1 or so to play but honestly I wish they never put them in. My kids have never played any of them but they are so attracted to the lights and sounds on them that when I take them their now they will just gravitate to the game area and watch other kids play or just push the buttons on the games and barely go to the play zone. I liked taking them here because it was a way to get out their energy in an inside playground but now we almost never go because I hate paying $ 15 for them to just sit and watch other kids play video games. They also have a café area with sandwiches and such. I have never bought food here but did get a smoothie one time. It kind of tasted like a cup of water with the slight taste of berries. Never got anything else after that.

We came in with our son today to check out the play area but also talk about their services for birthday parties. The play area is fun, although fairly small. However, there was not one manager in sight and the place was pretty much staffed and run by teenagers. Nothing wrong with teenagers… if they are trained properly. Given the experience we had today, we are not having our son’s birthday party here: — the guy taking orders is the same they use to clean vomit. It happens, it’s a kids’ play area after all… but saw him returning to the counter to take my order and he didn’t wash his hands — he’s also the one who you are supposed to talk to for parties and after 1 ½ hr trying to talk to him, we gave up. — We also tested some of the food and as simple as it was(grilled cheese and a grilled panini), he didn’t get it right. The stars are mainly for the play area. The food is definitely not worth your money and there is a thing or two to learn about hygiene. The party side? No idea, not one person available to ask about it.

I took my 2 year old to Rochester Play today. I didn’t really have any great expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. We were there with our neighbors, 2 and 3 year olds. The boys had a great time. We spent almost 2 hours playing without any break downs or boredom. The playscape is clean and easy to keep an eye on the kids. They loved running around and playing on the slides. My only complaints are a somewhat messy restroom and the floor by the water fountain was pooled with water. Those minor items aside, we will definitely be back to play at Rochester Play soon!

Great fun place to let the kids run free. Just wish they were a little cleaner and more strict with enforcing the«no sick kids» policy. Few kids coughing and with runny noses. Bring anti bacterial wipes! Lunch in the café is reasonably priced and the pizza was delicious. Manager is also very friendly. Healthy snacks are also a bonus. No fried, greasy options.

We took out almost 4 year old and our 11 month old to visit here on a Saturday late afternoon. I was pleasantly pleased with this place. I have been to Boogie Babies and Jungle Java as far as comparing indoor play places. First off pricing: It was fair for what you get. I don’t think it is the most expensive in the area, but more so mid priced. Jungle Java is higher priced. Our son liked to play some of the arcade-like games, those however in my opinion were highly priced at $ 1.00 each turn, but we weren’t here to play those mainly. The café has a great selection for both kids and parents. I really like seeing when places cater to healthy, natural options for my family. And the prices at the café are very affordable. $ 1.00 for a juice box, $ 3.00 for my coffee. The seating area is generous, but not as large as Jungle Java to compare. I don’t really care too much about a large café seating area anyways, as I’m there to play with my kids and watch them, not sit around chat with my friends and let my kids run free. Which I can not stand when I see that happen, by the way. I’m not by any means saying to hawk eye your kids’ every move, but be aware of where he/she is and make sure they’re following the rules for the well being of themselves and other kids around them. End Rant on that. The playscape area is mid sized. It’s great that I can see my child from where I’m at, whether from the back, side, front, etc. There’s a couple levels, but nothing gargantuan where you can blink and lose sight of where your kids went. The infant area is really cute, and set up perfectly for kids of that age. There are a couple hand gel sanitation areas, too. Areas of improvement: I would add more areas for boots/coats/bag cubbies. I would also enforce that parents take their shoes off as well especially if they’re going to be walking on the main play carpet area. Overall this place is great for kids! I would say that the age range is infant — 8 years old.

I have been to many indoor places for children and this is not one of my favorites. For starters it’s the most expensive one I’ve been too. The play area is cute but very small. I went during the week and it was so crowded I ended up leaving within 30 minutes which was a huge waste of money. Very limited seating and room for the kids to run. I would rather go to jungle java and have a large open area that even when crowded, still has plenty of seating

Fun place to spend a few hours with the kiddos. My almost 4 year old had a blast running around and climbing and sliding. It was a great activity for a cold day! There are a variety of ways to climb thru the structures to get to the various bridges and tunnels and slides. Also, the toddler area was a good place to start. Everything was a bit smaller and easier to navigate. Once he got used to that, he moved on to the bigger and taller sections. The price was fair, I thought. $ 6.50 since he’s still 3& $ 8 for over 4 years old. My guess is that this is most appropriate for 2 – 7 year olds. The new location is much more spacious and has a better layout. It was easier to see your kids from the ground as they are climbing and sliding and exploring the structures. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the addition of some arcade games. I get it, but that’s not really why we were there and of course we got suckered into spending a few $ on some games.
