I really enjoyed this buffet. I thought the prime rib was really good and the chicken noodle was one of the best that i have had. The pricing at $ 15/person was fair. The waitress that we had was very nice and on top of everything. I came here because we were at the Great Wolf Lodge for 2 nights and wanted to eat outside of the hotel. The honey ham that they were serving was THEBEST that I have had. It melts in your mouth! They have snow crab legs there but it was ok and tasted like any other place.

I decided not to cook for Christmas. A seafood buffet sounded like a real treat for my daughter and me. The line was long, which I expected since it was Christmas. Wow — were we disappointed in the food. The crab legs — all types– were plentiful, but had no flavor and had been steamed beyond the point of edible. The fried seafood was overcooked and flavorless. Very disappointing.

Small buffet with bad food. The fish was filled with bones and the pizza was soggy. The ham was undercooked and pasta was tough. Even the baked potato was horrible! Not even close to being worth $ 15 per person and the long drive off I-5. We should’ve known based on the horrible stench in the parking lot!

Great Buffet” I and my wife drove 84 miles to the lucky eagle from our Home here in La Center. We were in the mood for a Buffet so I began searching for a good one on line; Which is where I I found the Lucky Eagle Grand Buffet. As it was advertised as the Best in the state [Washington] After some discussion We decided to give it a try even though it is quite some distance. After arriving it was easy finding a parking spot and I might add the parking is very handy finding a spot practically just out the door adjacent from the Grand Buffet. On Monday Oct 122015 we were here. Monday is a good day for seniors like us. the Lunch Buffet on Mondays is only Senior price $ 6.95. so it will not break a budget I must say. There was a long line which is always a good sign of good food Which We were not disappointed in our expectations about that, However the line moved fairly quickly and we were up to the cashier within 10 minutes where we were greeted by our Hostess and seated; Everything was fresh and tasty, the Restaurant was clean and the dessert Bar was magnificent and tasty, the servers were friendly and polite, our overall experience at the Luck Eagle Grand Buffet was excellent; We will come again.

I guess if your really hungry this place will due. The food — mmahhhh. Not the best quality. Some of the desserts have a strange day glow color. Day glow colored food always alarms me.

Decided to give it a go as most of the reviews were older. We arrived just as it was opening. Seated right away. I was surprised to see crab available as it wasn’t a Friday and the buffet price was very affordable. The crab was very good, not salty. The deep fried shrimp were another story though. I picked up a few when I grabbed some crab. Got back to the table, and as usual went to pull off half of the coating when I noticed the shrimp was not cooked through. I mentioned it to our waitress and she went and told the line cook. He promptly removed them from the line and cooked a new batch. Unfortunately, they were not cooked through this time either. Macaroni and cheese was pretty good. Mashed potatoes were thick with a few lumps, at least I know they aren’t dried taters. Oriental section was so so. Salad bar was pretty good, quite a few good selections. Dessert bar had many items as well. But the ones I tried weren’t that good. As to the fly comment, there was one flying around but didn’t see many others. The waitress and staff were all very friendly. For the price, it wasn’t bad. But this will not be a destination buffet.

The food is good and the waitstaff is so very friendly. They are not going to win any awards for atmosphere, feng shui, presentation or options. Luckily we arrived when there was a short line but expect to wait wrapped around a corner where a short wall will allow you to «mean mug» guests while you ogle their plates of food. Once inside you get to stand in another line where people weave in and out because they are better familiar with where their favorite items are. We were there on a night that they had crab legs. Again the food was good but standing in line was a chore. They could do a better job of organizing the line. Morghan who has the best attitude to match her awesome name spelling made the night great. Always available and always with a smile.

We were at Great Wolf with the family and a family member recommended Lucky Eagle Grand Buffet. He went there in the past and had a good experience. After reading the Unilocal reviews I was skeptical, but decided it wouldn’t hurt, I mean for $ 22 you can’t expect much. Upon arrival there were roughly 20 people waiting. We were a party of 9(4 adults, 5 kids) and surprisingly seated within 30 minutes. At first glance I noticed the snow crab legs section was untouched. When have you been to a buffet where folks are not fighting over crab legs? I cautiously grabbed a cluster. The meat was unbearably salty. Most of us went for the clams and one of the kids started getting a stomach ache. We thought nothing of it and continued to enjoy our meal. Later that night everyone who ate the clams got sick. Symptoms were stomach pain, nauseous, vomiting and diarrhea. We contacted the restaurant the following morning to inform them of the bad clams. Besides the bad seafood experience, the staff/waitresses were very friendly. Restaurant felt clean and we didn’t see any flies.

This deserves ZERO stars, worse Casino buffet I have tried, the food is bland. Basically the only way I would eat here is if I get a comp for a free meal here, other then that I wouldnt spend any money on this awful food.

This review is specific to the buffet. For the price, it is NOT worth it. Though its not to say they aren’t trying. They have attempted to make this buffet international with two types of sushi rolls, a failure at chinese and somewhat dodgy southern. The only thing I kept going back for more was the roasted/fried chicken and the prime rib. I have to try to make up for the costs! Certainly won’t be going back. Luckily there were no flies at the time we went — based on other reviews.

This is somewhat difficult to decide to whether or not to give them a straight 2 or 3 stars. Our family and 3 other family friends went to great wolf lodge and decided to have buffet dinner at lucky eagles since its a close drive. This would be our 2nd time eating there. I never paid any attention to this next factor until this time around. So we arrived, there wasnt a long line which we were all greatful for. Got seated and we had 12 people in our party including toddlers and infant. Drinks took a while to arrive but whatever. The food had a very good selection in all of our opinions. The seafood section(which we all mainly focused on) had a good enough variety in it. Everything else appears to be decent. The pan fried oyster was delish! Especially when we got there during a fresh batch was served. So the reason for poor scoring is because of all the flies that were around. You read right, man, when you look up onto the ceiling, you can literally count couple dozens up there. Of course there are flies swarming around peoples food as well. Ugh, it was not appealing. pros: –good seafood selection –not too pack if you go a bit earlier –raspberry cheesecake was damn good Cons: –flies *insert«shoo fly dont bother me» song*

I only went here to eat at the buffet with my family, close to closing time on a Sunday more than a month back. Service was pleasant, but we had to ask to have our drinks refilled, even water. On my first trip I had steak, which was medium rare(I prefer medium), and cold throughout. Apparently the warming pans were not being warmed adequately. Also there was no steak sauce in sight and our server had disappeared for a break or something so I just ate what I could of a cold steak plain. I was disappointed to not have stuffing with the mashed potatoes. Most of the food was just«meh”– similar to Applebee’s. The desserts were good except for the brownie was stale. My brother and sister-in-law have eaten there again recently with my father and had a much worse experience with uncooked shrimp and crab salad that was so bad they had it pulled off the line. I do not plan to go back to the buffet to eat. I may try the steakhouse, but for the upcoming Father’s Day, I plan on another establishment entirely.

I’ve only been to this place twice. Once for a car show and once yesterday for dinner. I knew casinos are famous for having good buffets so I thought I’d give it a try on a Thursday. On my stroll through the building, I noticed a few things. One, they certainly get a thumbs-up from me on how they recognize their better employees! They have a wall plastered with pictures and names of tons of employees of the month and even the year! Way to go. Maybe other employees will get the idea. A happy employee is a good employee, but even better is an employee who gets a thank-you now and then for hard work. I applaud this place for recognizing great workers! I must say it’s one of the least smokey casinos I’ve been into. Oh sure, I smoke, but Emerald Queen can get so bad I find myself in the non-smoking section a lot! Not here. Now the buttet. NOT one of the better ones I’ve been to. Heck, Old Country has this one beat by far! Hands down! Here’s the notes I jotted down while I was there: *Loudest dining experience of my life! But it’s a casino. *Very friendly hostesses and staff in the entire building! *Coffee was super hot! And even tasted great black! *No plates by salad bar! You have to walk across the room to find those! *Killer goodies for your salad, but the«green salad» was 80% red cabbage. Eeewww! *Liver & Onions(okay, say YUK now! LOL!) were perfect! Moist and soft! Loved it! *Deep-Fried fish(Halibut? Cod? Not sure!) was awesome. *Baked Fish(salmon) was cold!!! I love salmon, but never tried it cold! Yuck! *Macaroni & Cheese was excellent! First casino mac & cheese I ever liked. *Mashed Potatoes were awesome! Smooth and creamy like I like them! And hot! *They use rotini noodles for«Spaghetti». No regular spaghetti noodles in sight. *Marinara sauce for pasta(choice of with or without meat) a bit spicy but excellent! *Worst Crab Legs I’ve ever eaten in my life! In fact they tasted sour! *Deep Fried Shrimp was perfect! Not too crunchy, and very tasty! *Small Shrimp was also tasty, but still had those gross black veins in most of them! *Awesome dessert bar! I didn’t try any, but they sure had a huge selection! *Spent most of my dining experience swatting flies and gnats away! Eeewww! *I think this buffet really needs walls! The building’s front door is too close! It was the worst $ 14.95 I ever spent at a buffet! Some of the food was excellent, but too much of it was not worth seconds. In fact the only thing I got seconds on were the mashed potatoes and liver. The dinner rolls/biscuits were cold and hard. Their Asian food selection was VERY small and consisted of maybe 4 or 5 items, all of which looked like they came from a grocery store down the street. I would have preferred to see meatloaf on the line, and would have loved baked cod or halibut over cold baked salmon. So there you go, my review for the first(and last) time I ever ate at the Grand Buffet inside Lucky Eagle. My advice to them? Take«Grand» out of the name, then control the flying insects! Never again will I eat in this buffet. But I loved the slots and will certainly go back for those! And the friendly staff were totally awesome here! Much, much friendlier than Emerald Queen for sure! Just avoid the buffet and you’ll feel the same way. PS: One note… yes, I was hungry and yes I ate what I judged in the list, but didn’t have a salad because I prefer head lettuce, not 80−90% red cabbage with a wee bit of lettuce thrown in!

We kept our tradition of Christmas dinner at a casino buffet alive and well. This time we were headed to Portlandia afterwards to take advantage of the Tax Free Haven shopping on the day after Christmas so we took a bit of a detour to the Lucky Eagle. The Buffet is definitely a step down from the Casinos surrounding the seattle area… but nonetheless there was a healthy selection of both dungeness and King Crab which we did our $ 20 bucks worth of damage on easily! The salad bar was fresh and tasty, and the pies were pretty good as well. As with most buffets there were many items to avoid… particularly the small asian selection… Costco Egg Roll anyone? but if you came for crab and salad(have to be healthy right?) then you are good to go. I probably wouldnt drive out of my way to go here again… but overall not bad if you drop the kids at Great Wolf and need some adult fun!

I went here to eat at the buffet with my family for my sister’s birthday. One word: GROSS. We were seated in a room separate from the main dining area and there were flies EVERYWHERE. It was so disgusting and made me lose my appetite(the food wasn’t that good anyway and there wasn’t much selection). The kids spend most of their time trying to kill the flies instead of eating their food. I will never ever go here again.

Waiter, there’s a fly in my soup. and in my crab, on the shrimp, buzzing around the pot roast… The buffet has flies everywhere! Please clean out the flies! It’s like eating at uncle Jerry’s luau… except nobody is fanning away the flies! It was disgusting and I probably will not eat here anymore. The servers were nice, the food was pretty bad. There was a large selection, prime rib was entirely well done. I did get to try a new kind of crab legs: Jonah Crab? It reminded me of dungeness except the meat was less sweet and a little more blandish. Not bad, not good perhaps it wasn’t fresh. The dessert table was pretty good, probably the only thing that is actually worth it. Frozen custard machine. yum. Custard pie was pretty good. Chocolate fountain, check… Anyway, eat somewhere else, I’m(maybe) sure the other restaurants have better food. The casino is small but has the games you want. craps, paigow, lucky ladies; it also has some very interesting slots that I’ve not seen anywhere else. Meltdown is a 3-reel 1-line slot that respins sometimes. The only thing is that it can respin ANY winning hand. respin jackpots, and over and over again. Its fairly exciting when that alarm starts sounding! I like the copper-dropper which is an old 9-line game but has very good payouts. The casino does get quite smokey on busy nights, but there is a non-smoking room that has quite a few games.

*** My review and rating are for«The Grand Buffet» only *** What can I say? Disappointed best somes it up. I’ve been attempting a World Tour of Buffets and it lead me to Lucky Eagle. Positives: Well, I really didn’t notice the ‘smoke’ smell of typical casinos, so kudos on the air filtration. They also had a chocolate fountain the dessert section — pretty sweet. Negatives: They are just basically heating up food(sometimes poorly) and putting it out. Not one thing I had displayed even a small attempt at care or flavor — even a Hometown Buffet or Izzy’s has some items you can lean on to get through the buffet. Nada for ‘The Grand Buffet’ I went on a Sunday evening: There were a ton of people. It was like a chow hall. Not exactly fine dining. The layout is wonky too — you find yourself waiting in lines — alot. It reminded me of ‘Legends’ the Yakima casino near Toppenish. Spirit Mountain(‘The Cedar Plank Buffet’) just blows this away. I was surprised by such a disparity. Oh well, let the Tour continue!
