In a world where mechanics try to oversell you parts and service, it’s good to find that there are still honest ones out there!

Jimmy is a great guy all around. he’s friendly, nice, trustworthy, and does a great job every time. i’ve been to him maybe about 3 or 4 times with my old car and now with my new one.
Yes, the owner is not like one of those car dealers and/​or auto shop guys that reel and deal you to try and get more money out of you. if anything Jimmy puts a great price and even a discount on any work he does. (with the exception of an inspection needed). he doesn’t try and tell you something extra is wrong that needs fixing or try to sell you something you didn’t go there for.
he seems to really know his stuff and been doing it for a long time. he has an assistant that has been with him for a long time as well (might be the only assistant) who is also very nice.
Jimmy is interested in building long term relationships with his customers and knows people by their name. my dad has been going to him for awhile (before me) and when i called to set up an appointment and gave my last name he immediately knew who i was.
hes very honest in knowing when he will get the car done and great about calling you and telling you what is wrong, after he looks at the car. he explains in detail, answers all your questions and very time efficient. (he always got my car done in one morning)
the building is a 2 car garage and he always seems to have many customers. not the biggest place, but who cares. plus his «waiting» area isn’t the nicest but i didn’t care cause i never really sit and wait. his shop is on a busy road, but during rush hour i never had a hard time getting in and out.
Jimmy is my go to shop guy when ever i need a repair or an inspection.
