Always quick & fresh … a hard combination to beat. Staff is well trained. My only issue is the seating … could be more comfortable.

Man, I love it here. I thank the day my good friend introduced me to chipotle. This location is easy to find with it being in Pittsford plaza. There is also ample parking which is helpful. Inside is clean and friendly. There are tables and chair inside and outside for when the weather is nice. The staff are always helpful and friendly every time I come in. The portions are amazing. You never finish a meal from there not stuffed. I think that fact alone is the reason why I love it so much. I am always hungry so if something fills me I am sold. I seriously enjoy Chipotle and I think I always will. I will always come here for a good, quick meal.

This location is always pretty busy because it’s located in Pittsford Plaza. I’ve been here multiple times, I’ve always had great, friendly service. The line is long, but they move fast here. Generous portion sizes, and they don’t seem to mind if you ask for more. Always delicious. It’s sad to see people call it «run of the mill fast food» and that they might as well go to Taco Bell. It’s downright disheartening. Chipotle is far, far greater.

OK, so maybe i shouldn’t give this location 1 star but the overall experience was just so bad– and I’ve been to other Chipotle locations and it was never this bad. location: it’s an easy business to get to– parking is near the cheesecake factory. the business was dirty, maybe because it was 8pm at night and they had a large crowd before and didn’t have the time to clean up-but there were food on the floor and drinks on empty tables. food: i ordered the sofritas bowl. i am not a vegetarian but i like tofu. they did not have the grilled peppers and onion-they were out of it and said it would take another 10 mins. i did not want to wait for it. i added my toppings and when i told the sever that i did not want lettuce in my bowl she still placed it in. When i told her again that i did not want lettuce in my bowl, she quickly removed it. this was a take out– when i got home, my bowl still had some lettuce in it. people: i’m not sure if they’re new hires but they were awful. when i placed my order i had to tell the sever twice what i wanted because the other severs were talking very loudly about their weekend. as a customer, i do not appreciate hearing about your dates or what you did. i would have loved to have you focus on my food instead. the sever who put lettuce in my bowl again was not paying attention to me, she was so concern about her movie that she saw the day before and telling her peers her review on it. overall– the customer service was so bad that i will not go back again to this location.

I have been a Chipotle fan long before they opened in Rochester. Visited this location many, many times since it opened. Lately at least on our last two visits I worry about getting food poisoning from the the filthy serving area and the lack of any concern for cleanliness or safe food practices. The staff are uncaring and seem to be clueless to the filthy conditions they are sliding your food through as it moves down the line. Although one time a female employee tried to wipe the counter by the rice /bean area with her filthy rag as my burrito was being assembled. She was very annoyed when I asked her to stop. I think all the adults have gone away and left the children in charge. What happened to this location? Who says fast food workers deserve more $$? Not at this location GROSS!

Um… I don’t get the hype. Last night was my second attempt at Chipotle and I have to say that the choices don’t taste any fresher than your run of the mill fast food. It is just glorified fast food with a ‘posh’ tax. For nearly $ 10(without a drink or chips) I felt a better investment would’ve been Taco Hell drive-thru…yeah I went there. And also in the words of my sage coworker, better spent at Sol Burrito! Not much to choose from as far as style, meat or toppings(only one kind of cheese?). I feel they are very limited. Come on, even Moe’s offers more for your buck(don’t like them either). Ordering is also a hassle. Same experience as Henrietta. Who knew building a meal would be so freaking complicated? Seriously, all the memes have it right. OMG I KNOWIT’S EXTRA! EVERYTHINGISFREAKINGEXTRA! I KNOWBECAUSEYOUHAVEEXTRASIGNSPOSTEDEVERYWHERE! Jayzuz, are we hurting with overhead or something? Last night my visit started pleasant. I went with the bowl with choice of chicken. I saw«Sofritas» and asked the employee what it was. She was VERYNICE and asked if I’d like a bit to sample. So I accepted with glee! I was VERRY optimistic with this start. Then it went to irritating territory of the P.I.T.A. kind. I got asked if I got extra meat by alll the employees right up to the cashier… who also effing asked. I QUICKLY got upset at having to explain that someone was nice enough to LETMETRY. The biggest disappointment to all that hassle is that the food was not worth it. The ‘sofritas’ disappeared into ingredients making it impossible to decipher. And the rest of the ingredients? Tame. I also have to add that the builders are not very consistent with the portions. So let me get this… it’s overpriced, have to be vigilant of the portions, and get hassled by the whole drum line about getting anything extra? NOTHANKYOU! This review won’t hurt the business one bit though. The clientele is steady and clearly addicted. I can’t seem to get on board with this designer drug.

0 stars for service — 5 stars for food — average down to 2 stars for annoying service. This was my 2nd visit to Chipotle — first was a few years ago. So I was not really versed in how or what to order. Jeez! It was loud — the servers couldn’t hear me, I couldn’t hear them. When I pointed to the barbacoa, I was admonished for putting my finger over the plastic food shield. When I didn’t answer the question that I couldn’t really hear about what kind of riceI wanted, the server decided to start taking the order of the person in back of me. It was a confusing, chaotic experience. If the food didn’t taste so good, I would probably say never again. I will give it one more try to make sure it wasn’t me(or them) having a bad day, and that will be it. Too bad.

Here’s the thing with Chipotle. Quality and customer service is location dependent. Pittsford Plaza should be able to deliver considering the crowds they have to deal with and the clientele. They fall below average. We eat there more often than I would like to admit and frankly, they need to step it up. The food always tastes good but you have to really watch them make your food or you don’t get what you asked for or the amounts they are supposed to give you. There have been multiple times where we have had more grizzle on our steak than actual meat. I’ve been disappointed more than once here unfortunately. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired as well. When they are really busy, prepare for it to be taken out on you. If you want a great burrito/bowl/taco AND a smile, I would suggest Henrietta… or any other location than Pittsford. Sad because I live less than a mile away!

Somewhat rude staff toss together burritos from a small set of options. The quantity is sufficient, the meat is overcooked, the vegy option is priced the the same as the chicken. Meh.

Love this place for tacos, burritos and salads. We first went to the Chipotles in Manhattan. It was delicious. The one in Pittsford is just as good. It is busy but still fast. It is clean, friendly, tasty and nutritious. What else can we ask for?

They offer burritos, tacos, bowls(a burrito w/o wrap), and salads. Their choices of meat is pretty good, and their veggies are fresh. Other toppings are usually delicious. It is one of my favorite fast food places.

I’m a fan of you, Chipotle! After reading several reviews that talked about the less than stellar service, I am happy to report that the service I experienced was wonderful! A little confused at times, but everyone I encountered was sweet and friendly. I even witnessed the guy in front of me decide to change his mind halfway through his order, and the staff were very accommodating in making him a new bowl. In addition, they offered to remake a burrito for one woman when the tortilla began to rip. The woman declined, but I thought it was pretty nice of the girl to offer. All in all, I’m happy to report the current staff seems awesome! I usually stick to the salad or burrito bowls, and last night was no exception. I had the burrito bowl with carnitas, brown cilantro rice, black beans, onions and peppers, a mix of the mild and medium salsas, and some lettuce. I normally splurge for the guacamole(an extra $ 2), but I skipped it this time. As always, the bowl was huge, and insanely filling. I wasn’t able to finish the whole thing, but have been known to polish it off in one sitting. I love the carnitas at this location — they have that perfect amount of crisp edges and tender meat. Those and the barbacoa are my go-to meat choices. It’s not really fair to consider Chipotle«fast food», as it’s insanely fresh and I never had that«ugh, fast food» feeling after I consume it. More like, wow, it’s pricey but I am SOFULL. Like Breanna B., I noticed that are serving Patron as a liquor option for their margaritas — so fancy! Chipotle is a great option for when you want yummy, quick Mexican!

I love Chipotle! The quality of the food is/was/will always be good. Although, at this location, the staff needs some work. Ok, I get it. You have to say the same thing to every customer that walks in. It’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but hey, that’s what you sign up for when you work in food service… customer service is #1. I miss the old crew who just by their demeanor made me smile. Ryan Gosling«Hey Girl» meme kinda comments that just make you laugh. The folks I encountered today were grumpy and off-putting. Bleh. Granted, it was a 2-minute interaction to make my salad. I often order the same thing every time. Chicken burrito w/cilantro rice, black beans, med. salsa, chicken, lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. I eat half and save the rest for a late night snack(clutch move, for sure). Today, I went with the salad, which was a lighter alternative. Although, right now I may be super stuffed for finishing the whole thing. Skipping dinner? End up scrounging through my fridge for something later? Yes. Why, oh why didn’t I get my usual burrito. I digress… The salad was a good alternative. The dressing(honey vinaigrette) was unnecessary, while good, it didn’t really have a purpose as the black beans, salsa, and guacamole moistened everything. I’d get it again, but may also toy with the idea of trying the burrito bowl for a happy medium. For ~$ 9, this is a pricey«fast food» lunch/dinner, but the quality is there and I’d rather enjoy Chipotle when in a rush to grab a quick bite. Random add: I saw they now offer Patron for margaritas. Getting fancy up in there!

Wow, a SHOCKING experience. I walked in at 11:00 when they open and the entire staff was still sitting down and eating. I stood there for a moment looking at the menu when I heard an employee mutter«I ain’t workin right now». I walked out. This was once an excellent location with great service. To top it all off, I emailed Chipotle customer support and received a canned response that didn’t address the issues I detailed and included grammatical errors and pasted sentences. I’ll be taking my business across the street to Moe’s.

What happened to this place! My last two visits have become my LAST visits here. Is it possible that management has purposely made a dozen bad hiring decisions? The ingredients are still decent, even in a poorly assembled burrito, but the service(lack of speed, lack of friendliness, and total lack of efficiency) is way below Chipotle standards and fair for fast food like McD’s level of surliness. To the staff at this location: I can hear you back behind the kitchen, come out to counter, and the register, and the grill, please. And WTF? What do you mean, tacos can only be made with Chicken, since friggin’ when? Don’t worry I won’t bother you with my business any more. This place is lucky that corporate got it this location because it would die elsewhere, if this is the service standard they maintain. Sad.

It makes me more depressed than I can express to write this amendment, but it must be done. I used to be the Pittsford Chipotle’s biggest fan, but that was a day long ago *insert nostalgic sigh* Ever since the restaurant had a management change EVERYTHING is different. The diverse staff that I loved so much is gone, replaced with a whole new staff who are mostly a disgrace to the standard of customer service we’re used it. I thought it was just a transitional thing, so I gave it a chance, over 9 months of chances, but things seem to be getting worse. Every single time — without exaggeration — I have been there in the past 9 months or so the customer service has SUCKED. Rude, rude, rude. Condescending, can’t be bothered attitudes. Not to mention, that iconic monstrous burrito has been nearly half the size. My last visit was the worst. After being«greeted» with a «What do you want?» and then getting skimped on fillings, I asked for my normal«no salsa or sour cream, but extra cheese» the employee rudely retorted«You get a normal amount of cheese or we charge extra» I stood there with my mouth open. Firstly at the rudeness she spoke to me with, and secondly because I KNOW cheese isn’t extra. I just said«uh… ooook?» and then checked out. I asked to speak with the manager, who was just as nonchalant. I asked what happened to the other manager and he said he left a long time ago. I could tell nothing I would say would make a difference to this man, so I just sat down and ate my food and proceeded to write the company. While I was sitting a family sat down at the table next to me and the husband and wife were talking about how different the place was the past few months and how turned off they were by the new staff. I apologized for interrupting but said I thought so too and we talked about it for a few minutes. I’ve since talked to a few handfuls of people who feel the exact same way about this location. The response I received from the company about my issues were apathetic at best, although she said she spoke to the manager and asked him to teach the employees how to be more customer oriented, and that extra cheese is NOT an extra cost(in fact, only extra meat and guac are. Which I knew.) I’ve been back since then and nothing has changed. Such a shame. I’ve resolved not to go back to that location for a few months and hope that at least something will have shifted by then. If they don’t turn ship, they’re going to start experiencing a serious loss of customer loyalty, that’s for sure.

Chipotle is simply the best Mexican«fast food» out there. Although its hard to call it fast food when it is so fresh, flavorful, and always cleanly. The hard shell tacos are consistently great. Fantastic place.

I used to frequent the Moe’s in Henrietta(and Pittsford) quite frequently till this Chipolte opened. While I’m not a fan of corporate Mexican style food per se, I have to say that I do love the carnitas burritos(tip of the hat to Christopher B. on that!). Undoubtedly now my favorite place to go for a late night quick meal in the Pittsford area. Great staff, too… it’s nice to visit a chain restaurant that doesn’t seem to change their staff *too* often.
