I had a horrible experience here. When I went into the salon I told the owner who I had my apt with what I was looking for. I wanted an A-​line silhouette. She picked one A-​line dress for me to try on. The rest were extremely from fitting to my body which I did not want! The more I told her I wanted something with a higher waist that was A-​line the more she brought back tight, form fitting dresses. I didn’t feel like she was listening to me and I was almost in tears because I hated everything she put me in. It seemed like she was giving me dresses she liked and didn’t take my wants into consideration. Another thing that bothered me was that she wasn’t even in the fitting room dressing me or on the stage waiting to see what I thought of the dresses. I had to peak my head out of the fitting room to find her and tell her what I wanted. The young girl in the fitting room helping me dress was really sweet but she does not have experience with bridal gowns and didn’t know how to help me. Another thing that bothered me was that my aunt who was with me really wanted me to try something on with straps. She asked to see me in straps several times because all of the dresses she was pulling were strapless. Finally, the owner came into the dressing room and said «who is this woman who wants you in straps so bad?» And I said «it’s my aunt. My grandmother recently passed away and she wanted me to wear a gown with straps.» Then, she rolled her eyes and said «yeah, well she needs to get over that.» I was speechless! Then, she left and told the young girl in the dressing room that she was leaving. Didn’t even think to tell me that she would be leaving in the middle of my appointment and that the other owner would be helping me. Then, when the other owner showed up she didn’t even introduce herself to me or say that she would be helping me now. What should have been a fun afternoon that I was looking forward to ended up being a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.

I have been to this place twice. This is a good size bridal shop located in downtown Rochester. Plenty of parking around the area (metered parking or 2 hour free parking lot located behind the store).
During my first visit there, I was amazed on its great selection of bridal gowns they have in stock. they have a lot of Maggie Sottero and Stella York. They keep every gown inside of plastic bag to keep it clean/​in good condition. The first person who was helping me was efficient but not really friendly… the customer service was not the greatest here… It was taking longer than most other places I have visited because the person who was helping me had to put the dress back every time i tried on a different dress. so most of time, she just left me hanging while she put the dress away
So during my first visit, I went by myself because I want to eliminate some dresses before I showed couple of my favorites to my friends.
Second time, i went with my friends. a different person was helping me… the service was HORRIBLE! Honestly, if the service was not that horrible I would have bought the dress from them… However, the service was horrible enough for me to refuse to buy a dress from them…
Reasons listed below:
–When I made the appointment, the lady told me it is okay to be late for 15 minutes since 4 PM was the latest appointment they had available on that day and I called them when i knew that i would be slightly late on the day of. When i arrived the store, the lady who was helping me was RUSHING me. and was really rude to me… I still wanted to check out other dresses to make sure I am not missing out. then she said «we don’t have time to check out other dresses. because you were 15 minutes late. and we have other customers coming in later»…the whole time, she was rushing me and blaming me for being late… and telling me that I already have a lot of dresses to try on. and I should not checked out other dresses… not just me, my friends were telling me the next day that the lady was really rude… If i am spending alot of money on my WEDDING GOWN… I think I deserved to take some of my time to check out other dresses… they had two stages ad two dressing rooms… I was not sure what was the reason that she was rushing me because there was only one person who showed up at 5 pm after me… the whole time, I felt I was under pressure to try on each dress fast and I was NOT ALLOWED to spend extra time to look for other dresses… the person was not smiling at all… the whole shopping dress experience was pretty bad.
To me or other brides, if you want to find «the dress» on your wedding, you want to buy from someone who is patient and give you the time to check out different dresses. rather than to buy from someone who does not respect you

This place is absolutely perfect!!! When I had my appointment the lady who helped me was very attentive and knew what I wanted. She had every single dress I asked about, the prices there are amazing. They have something for everyone!!! I will recommend this bridal boutique to all of my friends and family!
