I don’t usually post anything on Unilocal but today I am pretty upset so I need to do it ! I am a brand new in the town and was looking for a nice doctor for my kids. The place is overall nice and the staff is nice, nothing to complain. But I got 2 issues with them and for my first meeting didn’t have the best impression !
The day before my appointment I got a text message reminding me about my appointment and the hour was different that the one I had on my agenda. I thought they changed so I came at the time I got on my text message. Obviously it was a mistake, the second hour wasn’t working anymore, the front girl was really nice, apologized and gave me another day ! I was upset I had to come for nothing but not a big deal. A few days ago I got a bill telling me I had to pay for the appointment I missed. It wasn’t my fault, I came at the appointment at the exact time I got on their text message reminder. I called and sent e-​mail to discuss about the bill and they made me feel like it was my fault if I missed the appointment not their. They made me a «favor» avoiding the bill but it would be the last time. I have to admit I don’t like the way they talked to me.
The second point that bothered me. For my 2 years old physical the nurse told me he had to do an eyes testing. I asked if it was normal she said yes so I trusted her. We went to another room to get him tested. She put all the materials on him and after 3 min trying, she said she couldn’t do it because he couldn’t stand still and its was a long test apparently. I asked her when we could do it again and she said I had until he would be 6 ! When he was time to pay they made me pay $ 18.50 for the materials the nurse used on my son for just 3 minutes.
I am ok to pay, I just think if she was professional she would have noticed that it would have been impossible to make my two years old, really active son, sit without moving for a long time and would have saved her time and me money if she would have told me right away waht the test was about.
So that was only my first experience there… Still don’t know if I want to keep going there or not…
