This review is based off of their products and not the sandwiches. I was slightly disappointed with the dessert area. The website advertised sfogliatelle and when I got there at 9am they said they didn’t have sfogliatelle and it would take 30 minutes to make. That disappointed me the most. I didn’t want to wait 30 minutes for a sfogliatella they should have been made before the store opened. I drove 15 minutes to the store it’s not like I could have gone home and come back when it was finished. The cheesecake I saw in the case wasn’t a true italian ricotta pie it was NY style cheesecake. I didn’t get any bread because Most things in the store were expensive and the bread had no price on it. The homemade sausage I bought was expensive but I’m hoping it’ll be good when I make it. Overall I gave 4 stars because they have more italian products than a supermarket but their dessert area was disappointing. Also, a good portion of the store was pre-made italian meals. I’m italian, I don’t need to go buy premade italian meals I can just make them. I think their website promises too much.

I am not from this area and have recently started coming by for business. I have tried delis all over north jersey/ny etc. and this is EASILY the most absurdly good italian deli I have ever been to. I ordered an italian sub with the works and the meats and bread were literally to die for. The staff is super friendly and the store is like a eye-gasm. Clean and an insane amount of ridiculously good food. Ive never been so impressed.

Very good food. Just found them at the Italian festival and can’t wait to check out their market.

The meat for sandwiches is freshly sliced before your eyes. Aging cheese hangs from the ceiling. Just about ever Italian dish you can think of is somewhere in this deli. Highly recommended, and extremely delicious.

I stopped in for lunch with coworkers. The place is a full service Italian deli… all the trappings of an old school Brooklyn joint. My coworkers and I all ordered hero sandwiches, and we were all very happy with them. Delicious, fresh, large portion. And the service was fast and friendly too. Will return.

It’s not easy to review a venue with so many different talents. Dolce & Clemente’s would be considered your best Brooklyn Italian Style market in the Mercer County area. Besides serving great gourmet style deli featuring Boar’s Head, they also make their own sausages and prepared meals. They carry high end quality foods and condiments. Bleu cheese stuffed olives, Dinosaur BBQ sauces, gourmet imported olive oil just to name a few. If you’re looking to make something new for dinner or lunch, just stop by and you’ll be surprised how inspired you’ll be. For me on this trip, picked out some foods from their catering service for an upcoming baby shower. They have a large list of platters, tailgate specials, salads, wraps, sandwiches, etc. They also have a room dedicated for parties and events. And if you’re into desserts and sweets, they have a fantastic bakery featuring high end cakes, chocolates and donuts and tarts. Don’t come here hungry!

All foods Italian for the food lover can be found here. Quality Italian specialty market for all food genres: sauces, cookies, dessert, pastry, meat, pasta, vegetable, including prepared entrees as Chicken Francaise, meatballs, stuff peppers, Tortelli salad, and hero sandwiches. Traditional Italian filled with flavor. Prepared entrees are prepared on site with effort and care. Service is attentive and efficient. Pricy but expected for a specialty market that carry imported foods. Some packaged foods and frozen are imported from Italy. Dolce & Clemente’s do not disappoint families seeking a quality meal for quality family time in stillness from life’s fast forward pace. There is a parking lot on site.

LOVETHISPLACE. Seriously if you’re ever in Robbinsville downtown come here to get lunch or if you live in the area you can totally pick up some fresh pasta or bread along with cooked food such as eggplant or breaded chicken. They have ice cream as well in this place and so many cheeses and meats to choose from. You will not be disappointed, it’s right off of the main road and you can’t miss it if you’re looking for it.

Dolce & Clemente’s catered my Bridal Shower. The food was reasonably priced, delicious and plentiful! We ordered chicken parm, beef short ribs, stuffed flounder, penne vodka, roasted potatoes, and balsamic grilled veggies. Our guests complimented the food, and they were happy to eat seconds, and take home leftovers. I’d definitely recommend Dolce & Clemente’s for catering and I’d use them again in a heartbeat for catering needs.

Awesome Italian sandwiches, pastas, cold salads. I thoroughly enjoyed the penne with vodka sauce. My husband has eaten the Buffalo Soldier chicken sandwich a couple times, says it is pretty darn good. I’ve gotten the buffalo chicken salad from the case twice, it’s delicious. Just dip fresh bread into it! I’ve also had the Napolian and Darren Special, both of which were rich, flavorful and delicious. Last, but certainly not least, the customer service is awesome. Jeff is extremely helpful and friendly!

Cool Italian specialty store. You’ll find frozen and shelf stable imported items. In the refrigerated section are some homemade soups of theirs, not too bad if you don’t cook. Their prepared food section looks so appetizing, but looks can be deceiving. Prices seem to be higher here than in a Wegs or Whole Foods for similar items. My recommendation: stick with the sandwiches, they do not disappoint. The bread here(especially the stuffed breads) is great as well. I’ve heard good things about their catering too.

Hands down the best potato salad I’ve ever had! Sorry mom :) I kept sneaking bites out of the container before our BBQ last weekend. I also ordered the coleslaw which was amazing as well. Traditional but very flavorful and the shape of the cabbage was different — longer slices — easier to pick up with a fork. Lastly I ordered the Tortelli salad which has large slices of pepperoni & other meats. 5⁄5 — and I wanted to order all of the other prepared foods that were out! I had a hard time deciding. This place is one of a kind.

Dolce & Clemente’s had been on my list of places to try for a long while, having first become acquainted due to its close proximity to the legendary DeLorenzo’s Tomato Pies. After purchasing a «$ 22 for two $ 20 worth of food» Groupon, I visited the shop recently and was impressed overall. I ordered chicken francaise on a roll with melted buffalo mozzarella, which was as deliciously decadent as it sounds. Chicken was succulent, gravy was flavorful, and the melted mozzarella really tied the sandwich together, so to speak. The roll was just the right parts crusty on the outside, yet soft and doughy on the inside. It soaked up the flavor of the sauce quite well, yet held up its own weight, thereby narrowly avoiding a messy meal :) Staff was friendly and helpful. One of the employees manning the deli department even offered me a complementary slice of prosciutto while I waited for my sandwich to be prepared, which was a tasty treat! Shop was impeccably clean, well laid out, and had the atmosphere of a high end, cosmopolitan Italian market. In order to spend the full value of my Groupon, I picked up a package of frozen sundried tomato ravioli, which I cooked a few days later. Unfortunately, I was not nearly as impressed by the ravioli as I was by the sandwich. While you could taste the quality of the hand-rolled pasta shell, I found the filling rather dry and flavorless, to be quite honest. The ravioli was not bad by any means, but considering the hefty price tag($ 12 for 12 raviolis!), I expected great things and came away somewhat underwhelmed. If you are looking for restaurant-quality ravioli in the comforts of your own home, I would recommend checking out Trader Joe’s or Wegmans on Route 1, rather than here. Either supermarket has better-tasting prepared ravioli, and at a fraction of the price. That being said, Dolce & Clemente’s very much impressed me overall. Since I still have the second Groupon, I will definitely be returning, but would come back regardless. I would like to sample more of their vast selection of freshly prepared food(sandwiches, pastas, meat dishes, soups, and desserts), which is the shop’s true asset.

Wow, talk about having everything! Just discovered this place, even though I’ve been living only 15 minutes away. What a first impression when you walk in the door! If I have to say any single thing that make’s me a repeat customer with any food service business, it’s the smell. The second you walk it the aroma of Italian everything hits you like a ton of bricks. I didn’t walk in hungry, but I can’t imagine anyone’s appetite holding out in this place. If the smell doesn’t get you, the beautiful, eye catching display cases filled with everything from desserts, entrees and appetizers definitely will. The sandwiches we ordered for lunch were the biggest sandwiches we’ve ever seen. And they were under $ 10! Absolutely delicious, we couldn’t even finish them in one sitting :-) We also ordered dinner and dessert for later and it was to die for. Wonderful Italian cooking you can bring home! Since it’s winter, there wasn’t any place to sit down and eat at the business. However, I saw the outdoor seating piled up, so as soon as the weather warms up, I will definitely be back to enjoy sitting out in the sunshine and stuffing my face!

The Food? Amazing! Hoagies? Terrific! Market? Cleaned to Perfection! Stromboli’s? Best I ever had! Service? Staff friendly and courteous! Why only 3 stars if this place is so great? Because none of the good attributes matter if you drive 40min out of your way, in traffic, to pick up food and then find out they are closed even if its before 7pm. Either stay open like your website says, or change your hours on the website!!!

The best thing that’s happened to this area is this market. The food is always amazing… if you want to bring home dinner or get a sub. by far the best quality. They make everything there. the bread is to die for! Joe Clemente is an awesome chef and I really can’t say enough good things other than you get excellent quality for the money. The sub’s are probably the best I have ever eaten in my life and I am an expert on sub’s.lol They are like going to NYC or South Philly. just super close to home and oh so good… Try this place out once and you will be a customer for life!

Best Italian market I’ve been to in a long time. Ordered Sicilian arancini, breaded eggplant, broccoli pasta, and stuffed artichoke. Everything tasted fresh and delicious even hours after I got home to heat them. Definitely need to make this a staple stop anytime I’m near Philly.

Dolce & Clemente’s is an Italian market haven. A huge deli counter with prepared foods, cold cuts, fresh mozzarella, olives, salads, you name it they will probably have it. Fresh loaves of bread are always delicious. This is the type of place that I am used to having in NY, so finding one in NJ is a great plus. There is also balsamic vinegar, olive oils, fresh pasta and imported products from Italy. There is even a bakery section with cookies and pastries. Deli items are high quality and fantastic. Even their sauce and meatballs are great. The only down side is that you end up spending a small fortune, it’s a bit pricey, but if I am getting quality I don’t mind so much. They do offer a customer loyalty card which builds up money to get discounts off future purchases. If you are looking for all things Italian, this is the place to go.
